Adding new stuff is wonderful but you need to fix your customer service first. I tried to get help several times but I have never received help. I was on hold for over an hour “OVER AN HOUR” then I was HUNG UP ON. I tried to get help again but no one would respond. I should have received a call back from your company but I was told the company does not call customers. Well I am telling you that is wrong, especially after being on hold for over an hour and then your company hangs up on me. I have purchased your products over and over and I fell customers deserve some respect when customer service is needed.

I've been with wyze for at least 4-5 years in a 4 camera plan. I can't deny the price and quality of the cameras. I've told many people about these cameras right up until about 2024. It's very disappointing that for the first model cameras you have cancel the playback ability that has been available for years, unless I have an SD card. It's worse that the three different times I tried to contact customer service to understand why this change happened(especially since I'm paying a 4 camera monthly premium that is still the same price despite the reduction in features). There was no response. And since no one ever responded I guess I'll leave my gripes here. Not a great way to treat your loyal customers. But congrats on being free
Hi husker, if you’re paying for any level of monthly subscription on a compatible camera, you should still be able to record videos without a microSD on it. TH-cam doesn’t make it easy to check back on comments once you leave them, but I definitely would recommend getting back in touch with our support so we can help figure out what’s going on.
Didn't they stop supporting the original model cameras due to an unpatchable security flaw? While unfortunate, you'd probably be better served replacing them.
@@wyze it is definitely a compatible camera it's one of your first cameras I want to say it's a V1 or V2 but I will try again to contact the customer service regarding this issue. What I have found though, is that the camera still gives me alerts but I can't play back any camera footage unless it is through notification. I will contact them
as a Physical Security Professional who purchases hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of CCTV equipment every year (and no im not an integrator, I work directly for businesses), i just could not recommend Wyze in the business environment without several changes made. Please dont get me wrong, even considering the field i work in and the high end equipment i use at work, I do love Wyze! I have several for my home, where i'm unable to add ethernet cables through my home and needed a wifi solution. Wyze are priced great, good quality and their analytics are actually decent for the price. But unfortunately for a business, that's where the pros stop and cons start. Wyze could get there someday, but not there yet. i'm always happy to consult or provide feedback if you want it wyze and want to get into the larger business space though :) Congrats on your Q1 cash flow positive month though!
Wrong on so many levels. Wrong to make such a post without defining your concerns, and wrong to send out bad vibes without any reasoning. You're just worried about not being able to do business, not that a competitor is eating away at your possible overcharging people. So sad you have to take that route.

Respectfully, it seems you don’t have an understanding on what an integrator does and what a physical security specialists role is. I am NOT an integrator and thus Wyze is not competition. I don’t sell products to companies. I work directly for companies and serve as their CCTV subject expert. I decide for a company what products they will use and manage their installation and maintenance. With this in mind, Wyze would be trying to appeal to me to purchase their equipment for the company I work for. Just want to clear that up as you made some unfair statements to me. #2: I did not spell out my concerns here because my comment is not intended to bash on Wyze. Again if you had read the full context of my post, I very much like Wyze products and USE Wyze products. But in my professional opinion, i just don’t believe they are ready to be a business CCTV product yet. I do intend on making my own video on those reasons. But I’m respectful enough to not bash them with those on their own video comments. Because my intent is not to dissuade people from using Wyze products in general. I love mine for their intended purpose. We’re on the same team here. Team Wyze. Just Wyze isn’t ready for commercial security products. YET. But I look forward to when they are.
@@scottwilkins sr you are the one wrong. I love wyze and i have them, but ended up getting some selfhosted setup because i needed wired cameras that don't depend on internet to record all the time. Also POE versatily is unmatched, how the heck am i going to run a power cable line for a camera to then also connect via wifi were it doesn't reach :s
@@scottwilkins No need to be an apologist for Wyze + you’ve made a number of unsubstantiated and gratuitous assumptions regarding his comment. I’ve used Wyze products since the original camera, but there’s no reason to insist that they haven’t had some well documented growing pains. They’ve certainly come a long way and should be recognized for that. I’m definitely not a security specialist, but I’m pretty sure they, too, understand that it’s a competitive market with some big players, and they need to keep pushing if they’re to have long term success.

Facilities manager at a hotel in Rochester, NY. I have been converting my property over to Wyze cams. Only problem is that some cams seem to loose connection from time to time. I did create a separate secure WiFi network that serves just the Wyze products.
Congrats Wyze and the Team! Like many others customers, we have hung around taking in all the technological advancements and attempts to improve the business. I believe you are finally to that point of success, nicely done. Your video has given me total confidence to now move forward with taking the next step to invest in a total Wyze experience throughout my home and home business.
Multi-location is badly needed. We have a cabin with cameras. we have to mute notifications when we get to the cabin but that disables notification at our home. we'd also want to get professional monitoring on our cabin but we started our account at our home. we'd have to start over to move it.
Why don't you group your cameras into cabin cameras and home cameras, and then create a shortcut for each group, a shortcut called turn off notifications and of course turn on notifications. I have cameras at my apartment and I have cameras at my mom's house 600 Mi away and that's what I do.
congratulations, I had no doubt that you would accomplish this. I bought my first set of cameras in 220 and have been adding more, I never stopped believing in you. I heard the bad reviews in the beginning but never gave up. and you all will keep on making things better, I know it.
Congratulations! Love your product line. May pan came and bold lock possibly saved my dog because I was at work and pulled up my feed. She got into a whole bag of calming chews and I couldn't leave so I set up a guest code and had a friend check on her. Everything was fine but the cam system is a life saver.

Wyze: I would HIGHLY suggest the next improvement sprint y’all do is being able to SWITCH WIFI networks WITHOUT having to delete ALL cameras and RESETTING THEM! This is EXTREMELY frustrating especially when you have 8 of y’all cameras. Side note: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that y’all made this feature!!
Please help, does the Wyze Cam Unlimited also records for 15 secs? Mine only recors for 15 sec and I dont know if I upgrade will it make a difference? Thank you 🙏
Hello there. With Cam Plus, you're supposed to get motion-triggered events for as long as there is still motion. If your videos are stopping while motion is happening, I'd like to set you up with our Wizard Support Team to make sure you can get set up with what you need quickly. Congratulations Wyze. I have a few suggestions that might be possible with a few software upgrades/modifications. Have a camera became the focus of attention when a subject enters its detection zone for instance, on your multi-view (4 cameras simultaneous view) have that view takes center stage zooming the camera view so instead of showing 4 camera views the image becomes just one camera and that is the camera with the subject detected; when the person moves out of that camera view zone and enters another camera detection zone, have that camera becomes the center view instead. I understand that this can be an option only for home security as there is no need to keep different subjects in different cameras and can be use only for home security purposes. My second suggestion is since you incorporating facial recognition, have the camera trigger some automation for instance, If you are approaching your house, have the camera recognize you and automatically unlock your door, etc. I know you can already do that with your phone but it can work for the times you forgot your phone or when you want this feature for say a friend that is coming to your house and you want him/her to be able to enter the house even when the house is locked.

I have been with you guys from the beginning. I still use some of my version one cameras. I am proud to say I enjoy buying and using your products. If you go public and offer shares, make sure those of us that stuck with you in your pioneer dats get first offers to invest. Although I am an Apple head, I chose not to switch to Home Kit compatible security gear. I am a loyal WYZE customer and plan to stay until the end. Keep up the good work. If you offer tours of the company I would definitely visit. Let’s spread the word all over the world to “WYZE” UP.
We are early adopters; have two homes 12 cameras many of the other wyze products including two of the little cars. You have delivered with quality products at an incredible value. Well done.
I have to say, I have been using this system almost since the company started. And even involved with the Beta to help ensure solutions can made made for problems if found as quickly as possible. I use these and my system is spread over 3 states and currently all working in order to this day. One touch on my phone and i am connected to multiple locations and securty for multiple private systems and. Businesses systems. And can even communicate with them. So for the people that have complaints. Maybe calling them and trouble shooting why you are having problems rather than complaining could get a better result and would help others avoid the same problems as you may have. I simply have been silently promoting a company I have watched grow from the beginning and want to support them when I see i can change the narrative of a negative statement that suggests no solutions. Hi, I like that you guys added the Multi Camera feature on the monitoring tab but it still needs improvements. for Full Screen View on landscape mode of multiple cameras. And I want to choose more than 4 Cameras because I will use this feature on my tablet to see the cameras at the same time
I'm happy for Wyze - and glad to be a customer. I have had some issues over the years, most have been resolved - they are not perfect but the bang you get for the buck is great. For me, Wyze is the best home camera system!
I've had my wyze cams for a few years now and I like them. I do not like wyze support. If your wyze cam is working and a firmware upgrade causes it to not work anymore, wyzes attitude is too bad so sad, your camera is out of warranty. Even though it was working just fine before THEY BROKE IT.!! Terrible policy.

Glad to see this but isn't working very well for me.. I can see 4 cameras when I open the monitoring tab but I can't chose one to focus on for a moment then go back to all 4.. they fail to connect and all I get is a white screen for each or it will be black and give an error code {-5} and have to close the app entirely and reopen to get it to work again. Going home I can still chose them individually but I cant get it to work when I return to monitoring.

we love WYZE cameras, upgraded to cam unlimited last year and love it as well. I have a large property with 12 cameras, and feel much safer with them. Thanks WYZE for making an affordable product! Cheers, Orlando
Right now you can only see 4 cameras at once, but you can swap them out to different cameras easily. We can make it possible to view more cameras in the future, we will wait to gather more feedback like this. The tradeoff is real estate of your screen, especially because most people use a small phone screen. So we need to balance small space and cameras big enough to be viewed.
@@wyze Would it make sense to have saved workspaces? Say in a situation I've got multiple cameras watching out front, and then multiple cameras out back, I can swipe from the front yard workspace to the backyard workspace. It would be an easier transition than having to edit my view, de-select cameras, select new cameras, and save.
Question you know when you walk up close to the cam you hear a alert, is there a way to to off that alert so when someone walks up they don't know there's a camera
Can the multi-view show recordings on SD or does it only show the "Events" I had an issue at my home today that was not picked up by any "event", so nothing is showing on my multiview for that time frame. Hoping I am missing something.
Nice job! Next, can we please add more features/functionality to shared cams? I've convinced so many family members to get cameras as well as the unlimited plans, but they are also all shared with me, leading to me getting hundreds of notifications for their events (when I just want to be notified of my personal camera events). I know this is highly requested, please bump it up the queue.

Wyze cams are stoning, the entire wyze systems are affordable, smart, and manageable simply by any inexperience person any where you have your phone available to monitor and control your systems, I and my friends and family love it 🥰👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Not liking thenew app. My cams are all in the same place but now the pancams can't send video in real time of I adjust their positions. Most of the time the video freezes. Thinking of dropping Cam Plus altogether since I have sd card recording anyway.

any news on the user sharing and permissions feature? Trying to give my wife and son access to camera history without sharing out the whole account. Don't want any adjustments on settings, just want them to able to look at videos. This has been a feature request since 2017. I have the unlimited plan, many devices. Need this feature.

I’ve used Wyze cams for years, and recently bought a V3. Now, since installing it, I can’t stream ANY of my cameras outside the home. Can’t find a fix anywhere.
WOW! I have been trying to mess with this for the last two weeks with Home Assistant and the ability to see all cameras or record. I am already paying for subscription. I was looking at ditching the 10 Wyze cams I had purchased and haven't setup yet but this makes things great. Thanks!

I have the latest app for ios (2.50.6 (1), I am subscribed to Cam Plus Unlimited, but I do not see this new multi-cam timeline view. He says "tap register..." I don't see that either. I wish they'd show more in the video about HOW to get to this setting, as I'm just not seeing how to get into this new multi-cam view. I am using a large screen ipad. Can someone plez let me know what I'm doing wrong. I look forward to using these new features & have a use for this ability today, but will have to pull out several ipad, as I usually do, to follow the person around the yard.

Multi-location is badly needed. We have a cabin with cameras. we have to mute notifications when we get to the cabin but that disables notification at our home. we'd also want to get professional monitoring on our cabin but we started our account at our home. we'd have to start over to move it.
Why don't you group your cameras into cabin cameras and home cameras, and then create a shortcut for each group, a shortcut called turn off notifications and of course turn on notifications.
I have cameras at my apartment and I have cameras at my mom's house 600 Mi away and that's what I do.
congratulations, I had no doubt that you would accomplish this. I bought my first set of cameras in 220 and have been adding more, I never stopped believing in you. I heard the bad reviews in the beginning but never gave up. and you all will keep on making things better, I know it.

Congratulations! Love your product line. May pan came and bold lock possibly saved my dog because I was at work and pulled up my feed. She got into a whole bag of calming chews and I couldn't leave so I set up a guest code and had a friend check on her. Everything was fine but the cam system is a life saver.

same, but i dont see it happening. They want to push us to use their cloud service. I ran a docker station for RTSP to synology but it was flaky

Wyze: I would HIGHLY suggest the next improvement sprint y’all do is being able to SWITCH WIFI networks WITHOUT having to delete ALL cameras and RESETTING THEM! This is EXTREMELY frustrating especially when you have 8 of y’all cameras.
Side note: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that y’all made this feature!!

Hello there. With Cam Plus, you're supposed to get motion-triggered events for as long as there is still motion. If your videos are stopping while motion is happening, I'd like to set you up with our Wizard Support Team to make sure you can get set up with what you need quickly. Congratulations Wyze. I have a few suggestions that might be possible with a few software upgrades/modifications. Have a camera became the focus of attention when a subject enters its detection zone for instance, on your multi-view (4 cameras simultaneous view) have that view takes center stage zooming the camera view so instead of showing 4 camera views the image becomes just one camera and that is the camera with the subject detected; when the person moves out of that camera view zone and enters another camera detection zone, have that camera becomes the center view instead. I understand that this can be an option only for home security as there is no need to keep different subjects in different cameras and can be use only for home security purposes.
My second suggestion is since you incorporating facial recognition, have the camera trigger some automation for instance, If you are approaching your house, have the camera recognize you and automatically unlock your door, etc. I know you can already do that with your phone but it can work for the times you forgot your phone or when you want this feature for say a friend that is coming to your house and you want him/her to be able to enter the house even when the house is locked.

I have been with you guys from the beginning. I still use some of my version one cameras. I am proud to say I enjoy buying and using your products. If you go public and offer shares, make sure those of us that stuck with you in your pioneer dats get first offers to invest. Although I am an Apple head, I chose not to switch to Home Kit compatible security gear. I am a loyal WYZE customer and plan to stay until the end. Keep up the good work. If you offer tours of the company I would definitely visit. Let’s spread the word all over the world to “WYZE” UP.

I have to say, I have been using this system almost since the company started. And even involved with the Beta to help ensure solutions can made made for problems if found as quickly as possible. I use these and my system is spread over 3 states and currently all working in order to this day. One touch on my phone and i am connected to multiple locations and securty for multiple private systems and. Businesses systems. And can even communicate with them. So for the people that have complaints. Maybe calling them and trouble shooting why you are having problems rather than complaining could get a better result and would help others avoid the same problems as you may have. I simply have been silently promoting a company I have watched grow from the beginning and want to support them when I see i can change the narrative of a negative statement that suggests no solutions. Hi, I like that you guys added the Multi Camera feature on the monitoring tab but it still needs improvements. for Full Screen View on landscape mode of multiple cameras. And I want to choose more than 4 Cameras because I will use this feature on my tablet to see the cameras at the same time
Maybe now you realize horizontal timeline is better than vertical in the V3 Pros?
I agree. I can search for a particular time stamp easier with the horizontal search than wait for zillions of vertical, useless thumbnails to load.

I'm happy for Wyze - and glad to be a customer. I have had some issues over the years, most have been resolved - they are not perfect but the bang you get for the buck is great. For me, Wyze is the best home camera system!

I've had my wyze cams for a few years now and I like them. I do not like wyze support. If your wyze cam is working and a firmware upgrade causes it to not work anymore, wyzes attitude is too bad so sad, your camera is out of warranty. Even though it was working just fine before THEY BROKE IT.!! Terrible policy.

Why can't I get one of my Wyze Cam 3 cameras to connect? It use to work but for some reason it will not connect any longer.
Glad to see this but isn't working very well for me.. I can see 4 cameras when I open the monitoring tab but I can't chose one to focus on for a moment then go back to all 4.. they fail to connect and all I get is a white screen for each or it will be black and give an error code {-5} and have to close the app entirely and reopen to get it to work again. Going home I can still chose them individually but I cant get it to work when I return to monitoring.

Right now you can only see 4 cameras at once, but you can swap them out to different cameras easily. We can make it possible to view more cameras in the future, we will wait to gather more feedback like this. The tradeoff is real estate of your screen, especially because most people use a small phone screen. So we need to balance small space and cameras big enough to be viewed.
@@wyze Would it make sense to have saved workspaces? Say in a situation I've got multiple cameras watching out front, and then multiple cameras out back, I can swipe from the front yard workspace to the backyard workspace. It would be an easier transition than having to edit my view, de-select cameras, select new cameras, and save.
Question you know when you walk up close to the cam you hear a alert, is there a way to to off that alert so when someone walks up they don't know there's a camera

Can the multi-view show recordings on SD or does it only show the "Events" I had an issue at my home today that was not picked up by any "event", so nothing is showing on my multiview for that time frame. Hoping I am missing something.
Hi there. You can only review cloud-recorded motion events and the live stream of your cameras when using the Multi-Viewing feature.

I've convinced so many family members to get cameras as well as the unlimited plans, but they are also all shared with me, leading to me getting hundreds of notifications for their events (when I just want to be notified of my personal camera events). any news on the user sharing and permissions feature? Trying to give my wife and son access to camera history without sharing out the whole account. Don't want any adjustments on settings, just want them to able to look at videos. This has been a feature request since 2017. I have the unlimited plan, many devices. Need this feature.
I want to buy a wyze cam, but I'm not able to because they only use 2.4 ghz. Most people have 5 ghz. Can you change this?

I’ve used Wyze cams for years, and recently bought a V3. Now, since installing it, I can’t stream ANY of my cameras outside the home. Can’t find a fix anywhere.
The latest wyze app looks good but it's really too slow each times to load, is anyway that problem can be solved? 🤔🤔

I have the latest app for ios (2.50.6 (1), I am subscribed to Cam Plus Unlimited, but I do not see this new multi-cam timeline view. He says "tap register..." I don't see that either. I wish they'd show more in the video about HOW to get to this setting, as I'm just not seeing how to get into this new multi-cam view. I am using a large screen ipad. Can someone plez let me know what I'm doing wrong.
I look forward to using these new features & have a use for this ability today, but will have to pull out several ipad, as I usually do, to follow the person around the yard.
Hi jewlen927! Could you try logging out of your Wyze app account and log back into it? Once you do, tap the Monitoring tap at the bottom of your home page.
