Why are dog people so surprised at how cool cats are? Cats are the best!
Cats body languages are not as easy to read as dogs. But you can learn. Today I was visiting a friend with 3 cats. She was at vacation last week and I looked after the fur babies. Today was my first time beeing back at her house. I noticed her cats were unusualle clingyT till we realized that they might have been thinking she will go away again, bc I was there. So she assured them that she is not leaving again and all 3 of them settled down.
As a ”cat person” I don’t agree. I cannot understand dogs and their body language (which makes me feel insecure around them). Cats, however, I have no problem understanding. And if it’s a cat I don’t know I just talk to her and wait until she approaches me.
YESS! Cats are the best. If one comes into your life, consider yourself privileged, they chose you!
Because they've only ever seen how someone ELSE's cat treats them.

I love a man who loves cats.
I’ve found, without exception, that a man who loves animals is a good man. It’s sad that, in American society, especially in some parts of the country, heterosexual men risk being labeled as weak or effeminate, if they show too much emotion or exhibit gentle behavior toward other people. Even with their own children, they may have difficulty with expressing those things once the kids are no longer very young. It’s easier for them, and more socially acceptable, to express those feelings toward pets/animals.

Roberto is quite an ATHLETE. He could bike all day and never gets tired!
My "Roberto" was named Bob and we called him Bobert all time. He was my Tiger Boy and I miss him so much. He was born, raised and died after 18 yrs with me.
I too have always been a dog person, and when I literally saved an abandoned kitten and added her to our household, she and my dog became besties. I am convinced that my dog trained her to do doglike acts, and that made her personality even more fun. She is a very vocal little girl and has brought nothing but love and laughter to our home! I can't believe just how much we love this cat, and she obviously loves us right back!

Cats somehow coax more affection out of me than I thought I could produce, even though I've had children whom I love without end. Amazing creatures whom are true companions and balm for our souls.

I had a similar experience with a cat, never was a cat guy before, in fact i'm allergic...but Picachu came in my life and we were best buddies! A profound deep bound and lots of petting, i miss him now and think of him almost everyday, he was amazing! RIP buddy!
I can relate to Paulo's story. 40+ years a dog guy & now I have 7 cats. 2 strays & their 5 kittens took up residence in my yard & I took them in to save them from foxes. I foster-failed pretty hard

I never thought that I was going to be a cat Dad too but now a cat came and started sleeping on my porch and I feed him every morning I named him fluffy 😺🌻🌅🌻 and there's three other cats that come and eat with fluffy 😺 hope you and your cat have a blessed life 🦋 stay strong 💪😺🏡😺

Because cats are not pack animals like dogs & they are independent loners (except for lions who live in a pride or coalition) & can be extremely difficult to train & control -- very unlike a dog.

I've had cats who played with me often, did tricks and were pawesome travelers on planes, trains and walks. Felines are naturally gifted and OUTDOOR athletic animals, LOL!
