Nice reaction! Dan does indeed sing harmony with himself. Check out Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, which he does by himself, and Bohemian Rhapsody and Angels We Have Heard On High - he recorded sixty tracks to create the backing choir. He's had ten years of lessons, and he's been greatly influenced by some great singers, like John Schlitt, Michael Kiske, Steve Perry, and Andre Matos, just to name a few. I love Tommy, too, and would love a collab from them! Keep the Dan and Tommy reactions coming!🤘🤘🤘
Dan Vasc is phenomenal. God gave him talent and he has honed it to perfection. I hope you've subbed to his channel and will react to all the genres he sings. Dan does play the guitar, keyboard and harmonica, but he always puts in the play list who does what. He always gives credit when someone else does snatching. The vocals are always his unless there is someone else featured.

I have listened to Tommy Johansen because of the "hype" and to compare his voice to Dan's. There is no comparison. I heard so many flat and sharp notes from Tommy . Sorry Tommy. I have yet to hear either a flat or sharp note from Dan. Then there is the intangible energy that comes from Dan whenever he sings==it comes from his heart.

I don't understand why fans feel the need to "compete".
I live them both equally well! I live DAN for the Dan things he does, and I love Tommy for the Tommy things he does. And to further confuse things, I love Jonathan Young for his Jonathan things and Tom MacDonald for his Tom things and every other singer I like for their things. Why must there always be these silly debates over who is better? Why not just appreciate them all for the EPIC music that they bring us?🤘🤘🤘

Check out the channel “Viking Reacts”, he recently did a fan-made video…kind of like a duet overlay or whatever of Floor and Dan singing Last Ride of the Day. It may be as close as we ever get to hearing them together in real life. Enjoy!

Vocally very accomplished and better diction and breath control than Tarja I assume, although this has the benefit of being a studio recording but sorry, however technical he is, I find he lacks the warmth of Floor's performance which was live. Also on the subject of Tommy don't forget that Tommy does play guitar and keyboards on his covers and he has not dedicated himself to just singing. If I wanted to listen to a soulless singer with amazing technique then it would be Dimash but I don't.
Dan's music is done in his studio in his garage; he's 100% independent, beholden to no label. He does sometimes have others master and/or mix it for him, but only people that he really trusts. Just telling you this because you seemed interested.🤘🤘🤘
If you could just avoid singing along... What we want to hear is Dan singing and you reacting, not YOU singing. Thanks.
