This man sings with his whole body. You can feel it and see it. His voice shuts out everything around you.
That man just made vocal love to me.
Dan is so connected to the songs he sings, and masters his emotions.
Holding the feeling, and projecting the raw emotion without making it sentimental or losing yourself, is something very few singers truly master.
Dan is one of those few.
And that's why he can reach to the core of your bone and touch your soul.

When Dan is singing of darkness he always uses the deep (kermit) voice to show that depth of emotion, then his voice rises as he gets to the higher, brighter bits. It's captivating.
"Dan Vasc can transport us..." You are so right! His voice is just absolutely mesmerizing. You can block out all the sounds around you without even thinking about it when this man sings. It's like his voice is the only sound that exists, for those few minutes. It's stuff like this that makes me love music so much, and the reason why I ALWAYS end my day by listening to something. By the way, your voice is very soothing. So I like to watch your reactions before I shut down my laptop for the day as well. Helps me drift off to sleep feeling calm and satisfied.

Thanks for another Dan Vasc reaction. You are so expressive as you listen. I love all of Dan's songs, but being a bluegrass and folk song lover, I love his rendition of Loch Lamonde. It's beautiful, and he records it outdoors.
I cried when I watched Loch Lomond. I knew and loved that song a long time ago but had forgotten it. He and Gabriel were perfect and the scenery fit in so well. They swept me away to Scotland in a few seconds. So glad that you shared that you treasure that video just like do. I lost count how many times I have clicked on it. I may do it again right now!! Do you have any idea if Spyglass Inn is still lined operation? I loved the few songs they made and would love more.

Just an idea for a future reaction - listen to his very first video - DragonForce Singer Audition, The Last Journey Home, and then, listen to the one he did ten years later. The growth will amaze you! He was good in the first one, and the raw talent and passion were there, but in the one for his ten-year anniversary, you can really see how much he's grown as a singer. Also would still love reactions to Fairy Tale, Carry On (Angra's, although Manowar's is good, too), and both Elvis covers. I love your reactions!
