Day one and two of my Skye Trail.. With days three, four and five coming soon. Stay tuned for episode 2 and the epic landscapes of the Trotternish Ridge and the Quiraing... Apologies for the not quite so polished editing.. all just a little rushed afore holibobs.. enjoy.. 😎
Brill video Jim, that track along the side of the water looked incredible as did walking through those mountains. Definitely 1 to add to the list. I'm looking forward to the next episodes.
Thank you Mr McIntyre... It really is a lovely hike especially when the weather is kind.. The whole route has spectacular views and I hope you get the chance to do it sometime... 😎
Hi Jim . Great to see you on your Skye Trail adventure some stunning views to which I would not expect anything less. Pleased that the weather stayed dry. I do believe you in regards to the old Winch lol. Look forward to the next episode. All the best Andy
Good stuff Jim, Skye is stunning but good to see your back on it after your foot setback a few weeks ago. Day 2 you started to get in about Skye's amazing scenery, bet they 3 pints were great and a cracking pitch too ..nice one ...Stevie
Ha... Can't eat a scotch egg without thinking about you n Gerry... 🙄.. they were good though.. Hopefully get it finished off tonight and uploaded for a scheduled release whilst aff with Mrs B. 😎
Hi there... Thank you. and good luck.. which way you doing it? I'm seriously considering going again but North to South... It is a lovely trial... Good luck with the preparations.. 🥾🥾🥾🥾🥾💪
I was going to do South-to-North just to end with the stunning views. But open to any recommendations after your experience! -- I'm flying in. Do you recommend flying into Inverness? or Glasgow? Inverness seems to make more sense @@BoredManOutdoors
Ey up Jimbo, brilliant mate, looking forward to this series. Skye is a magical place. Such amazing video footage. Thank you so much for sharing with us. 😀🥾⛰🏴
Bored man indoors watching bored man outdoors, And the reason I'm indoors and not out is gout 🤨. So I have been following your foot issues with interest, Glad yours seems resolved 👍Really enjoyed the video👌 Skye is on top of my list to spend some time fishing and camping 😎. So its a big thumbs up and a new long overdue SUB! 😉
Thanks JG... Still not 💯% what the toe issue is - Gout or arthritis or something else but the steroid injections worked. Great to have you along and thank you... The next Skye Trail video is epic... 😎😎😎
Great to be out James Injury free. I've just done my first multi trail after 2 years injury. Yeah, chomping at the bit. Lovely conditions there - just the job as was that plodding pace - we need to enjoy these trails and not smash the miles so much. Wonderful sea trail leading to the pub. Wow, that's what we like and of course a warm welcome. Well, good going. Mark
Cheers Mark .. I think on retrospect and I'd I were to do it again North to South, or any other, I'd take even more time & chill .. It was a lovely welcome... I know it didn't look busy but all tables were reserved and it was rammed when I left. 😎
Fabulous, enjoying your journey, conveys the atmosphere and good to hear of some of the folk met along the trail. Looks like you were back to full fitness, albeit slight inevitable blister management.
Thank you Iain . The trail gets better... So many blisters and not what I'm used to. Very rarely get them . So much so I had to buy new boots. 😂 Cheers Iain. 😎
Nice one mate and that is a long walk to the hotel. If you walk along that track back the way, you can cut off and go up Sgurr na Stri which is an aamzing summit camp but a hell of a walk out and back. Looking forward to the next part as have this route planned myself ;) Atb
Cheers Justin and thank you. I quite fancy returning to do north to south.. Looking at your channel - you've done quite a few hikes I have planned in for the future.. I'll be subbing you back .. Cheers pal 🍻

The trial really ramps up from Torrin, the views around the coast are fantastic. Take it you skipped the bad step? I've seen a couple clips of it and it looks a bit sketchy.
Should've had a few with that couple. Might've no finished the walk 😁😉 Enjoyed that Jim. Last section was stunning. Amazing what 2 out o date pork pies and a cuppa does to ya. Nice welcome in that boozer. Looking forward tae part 2 mate. 👍
Cheers Kev. Hope you're well Sir. The welcome in the pub, the folk on the trail - all were an absolute pleasure... The camping is always fun... Well nearly always.. Just uploading part 2 as we speak. Might get it done afore we set aff on holibobs.. When do you think I should schedule it to run Kev?

Day 2 weather, windy and lookin cold (I've only 'just lit me fire so cottage cold so I really felt part of your walk 🙊) then sunshine . The vistas I find are just out of this world but the video just doesn't relay this on screen 🍺
That's GoPro for ya Frank . Compact, robust, waterproof but has limitations.. hopefully the 2nd half will come across in the 2nd video .. Warmer outside than in .. 😂😂😂
