Fr man U see the turbo s with no sports exhaust system looks good with the square shaped exhausts until u choose the sports exhaust it comes with 2 egg shaped exhausts. Like why.... Every company has one down side and Porsche has this... which can be fixed if they want bcoz in reality their exhausts sound damn good. U see the GT3 RS will give out pops and bangs in stock.
Appears to me, that one is a std Carrara and 1 is a Carrera S, which I would think is some of the difference. I love 911, but hate the look of the twin oval pipes. I’d almost rather have less sound with the rectangle or better yet, the quad round tips.
@@jml9550 Hey Jack, comparing a NA V8 and turbo boxer 6 is like comparing apples to oranges, so to you the 911 may sound better than the Lexus LC V8, or maybe it wont. One thing I know for sure as a former and most likely future Porsche 911 owner is that exhaust and engine sound albeit unique, is nothing to brag about. Porsche 911’s bring everything else to the table, that’s their value, but unless it is a 9,000 RPM screemin GT3 or Carrara GT - I will not be impressed with the sound of a Porsche.

For all you never will be Porsche owners complaining about the exhaust, understand that the Porsche provides the most bang for the buck and can smoke a lot of super cars. A big part of the allure for Porsche is not the show boat nature but the impeccable German engineering.
@@Robiig different power figures mainly stem from different turbos. that definitely changes the sound, albeit not dramatically. So @Henry Polanco is right.

Tip: Putting the car in neutral will allow you to rev past the limiter.
*for a pdk, you pull both paddle shifters and hold them, while holding them both, it puts the car in neutral👍
That's sadly not true anymore. And the paddle trick is only for the RS models

Other problem for me with the sports exhaust is the god awful twin oval exhausts. Standard quad exhausts look so much better.

For proper loud and raspy exhaust on a turbo car, go aftermarket. Kline inconel jumps to mind.

not really. Lots of folks daily drive their 911 or really dislike the simulated cracks and burbles. They want the std exhaust.

Sport exhaust is louder but doesn't sound better. Not worth $3K.
I got 922 Carrera s with sport exhaust... while driving it sound so good, especially when backfires.
Rather put that 3k towards a real exhaust lol

This is the main reason to choose an Aston Martin Vantage over a 992 all day and night
They are just two different beast. But I would say you’ll get more bang for your buck with the vantage. 911 prices are diabolical right now.
But the 911 is way sportier ..
