I would like to also make a comment about the people who always talking about car depreciation, Uber is the only job or gig I know of people complain about car depreciation, if you're driving for a living are you buy equipment for any type of job or service, it has depreciation it is really silly to say that you have a 25 or $30,000 car and you worried cuz it's only going to be worth ten thousand in five years, that vehicle is now a tool to make money any tool you buy for business is going to have depreciation.

What nobody seems to discuss is clinic appointments. I believe that through the Department of Medical Assistance Services ( that's here in Virginia ), LYFT has a contract ( with Medicaid/Medicare ) to provide medical transportation. I know this because ( as a passenger) I've used LYFT for my appointments at the VA hospital. It's potentially a great way to stay busy during the weekday ( and make that weekly lease payment ). One driver who picked me up had already made twenty-two trips by the time that he'd gotten to me at 1.00 PM

Unless, you’re physically fit to help someone at times, and have patience. This is driving with passengers. Nobody’s in a rush. So, I’m guessing that man, was a young man. 22 trips, before 1.
Well, when did he start the trips? That’s important to know in this scenario.

I’m about to start uber/lyft soon here in NY. Specifically Long Island. So i will find out myself how my area works. But i think your tips apply. I think i will do 5am to 9am weekdays for commuters. Then perhaps do food delivery during lunch 12 to 2pm. Then back to ride share to catch commuters coming home from 4 to 8pm during the weekdays. And then weekends like you mentioned starting later at around 9am or 10 for a few hrs and then do evenings for the bar crowds Friday & Saturday night 6pm to 1am? Guess I’ll learn along the way.

Interesting but I disagree with some of your suggested time and especially with the ride bonuses. Uber and Lyft deploy their bonuses. streaks based on different criteria. Rush hour does bring more ride opportunities BUT because most of the ride a driver might get will be spent sitting in traffic and we know we make the money per mile, not per minute. Every market has a different scheme for BEST driving times but this video is off.

Another comment if you all don't mind, don't forget to track your Miles when you're driving for Uber Lyft or any app service, your mileage are tax-deductible, also you might want to consider getting yourself an LLC, and making yourself an employee and depositing your money in the business account why, so when you go to finance something you can show those payouts as an actual job, cuz most things that sell goods and services finance will not recognize uber income.

That is fking retarded (no one who is geneticly retarded cares unless you stress it) LLC means you pay an employee tax on yourself.
'self employed' is an option, I made $80000 last year as an employee, when I got hit and ran it was easy to get a lease showing them 5 days of earnings as self employed.

For rideshare, never see any surges, by the airport they will send a message for those peek flight times, personally those times are swimming with drivers so I go the opposite way, since everyone is by airport they are not driving local, and therefore I go that way. you have to play the system right if you want to make a good wage. Figure out where and when the surges are. 3pm on a thursday is a good time to have a streak going but not a good time to start a streak. There are lots of drivers out at that time. If you really want to make the big bucks you need to work hours others arent willing to work, otherwise the roads are saturated, and you are taking left over rides that no one wants to take.
Airport rides early in the morning when most are sleeping for example. And decline rides that dont pay you more dollars than minutes.

When the number of Uber drivers is few, they raise you to the sky, Uber employees let you make money with ease, and when the number is very large, you have no value for them, and you earn money with great difficulty, even though if it were not for us, they would not have become anything. You are the driver carrying the bag to the customer and bringing the bag to the customer And you open the door sometimes for the customer, and also the customer wants you to be an angel and not a mistake, and you are a driver in the street, with me half of those who drive in the street do not abide by traffic rules, and you consume your car after a period of time, your car becomes worth nothing because it has many miles and you too You need to always be careful on the street from pedestrians and traffic lights. All this psychological pressure has no value for them if a customer writes a report about you, even if the customer is a liar. I promise you. I will work on writing a book about my experience as a driver, my suffering with Uber, and everything can change, believe me.

There is no surge on my Uber screen, which means a red screen. Busy time price means an increase in fees, but on the screen of another driver there is a surge and A red spot on the airport website and an extra $4.75. Isn't this oppression of men and unfairness? I predict my paycheck every night to dollar based off the hours I’m gonna work. If you don’t know the algorithms or thresholds, than I’m sorry guys you shouldn’t be driving. The second you realize you’re not in control is when you’ll reach my level. It’s sad that people don’t figure this is out. I’m analytic and I keep testing my theories and they become more accurate. Doing it a few weeks this month and doubled my pay from 2 yrs ago. To each their own. There’s so much I can say to help people on here, but 80% of you guys don’t look friendly as drivers. Your vehicles are sub par and a safety hazard. So I can’t honor that in good faith.

Now, Uber encourages electric cars, not that they want you to benefit. No, on the contrary, when most drivers have electric cars now, they pay 65 cents for each mile, but when cars become mostly electric, it will change from 65 cents to 50 cents, and they may have shares or commission on electric cars. This is the truth, please believe me.

I want compensation for my right and my psychological and moral torment that I am subjected to every day at Fort Lauderdale Airport, Florida by Uber employees at night shifts who are responsible for the work of drivers at this airport and hold them accountable by Uber who are responsible for personnel affairs and hold them accountable legally for what I have been exposed to Psychological torment and oppression in this airport.

We were at Fort Lauder Airport, 100 drivers and a little more. All the drivers were making money. Uber employees sent drivers from Miami to us and gave them a lot of work. They made a lot of money so that when they return to Miami they talk to the other drivers. Come there, you make a lot of money and easily. Of course most of the drivers came. From Miami, in a hurry, they gave them a lot of work at the beginning. Thus, Uber is the first beneficiary. It took control of the airport and became controlling the prices. The former drivers now have no value in the current situation. You want to work, work. You want to go bye bye.

It’s never a good time to enslave yourself and be ripped off by these rideshare companies. You are giving away your car’s value and you aren’t being even close to a fair compensation rate. Do the math yourself, add up ALL expenses to operate that car including the purchase price, gas, insurance, tire replacement, repairs, registration, oil changes and other general maintenance, as well as eventually replacing batteries and other components and the eventual replacement cost of the vehicle when it gets too old for their requirements, and you will realize how much of a ripoff it truly is

Every now and then, the Uber administration sends drivers to sign new clauses invented by Uber's lawyers in order to protect themselves. Of course, all these clauses are in the interest of Uber, and not in the interest of the drivers. And I say to the lawyers and management of Uber, and not any law that stands in the way of justice and the will of the people, for information only, a street vendor of greenery in the street brought down the head of state of Tunisia and Martin Luther King worked hard and got justice between whites and blacks, and I, for example, will work hard to achieve justice for drivers no matter what it costs The matter is that I have never fought a battle in my life, otherwise I won it, because I am always right and I always have evidence for what I say. I am not a stubborn person, but I categorically reject injustice
