@@MoeShinola1 it’s a beautiful city, I just moved back to Edinburgh after living there for 5 years. I’m really glad I made that ambient tour video, it’s a nice souvenir for me. ❤️
Yes you did and it totally wasn’t long enough, I was just getting into it and it ended! That nts-1 is a box I’ve wanted for ages but it simply doesn’t exist in Vietnam but I’ve started importing some things from the UK and finally I’ve got it. Really liked how making it was easy but still involved enough to feel like a mini project, really cool.
@@streetdoghanoiit was for an artistic project, and the max length was 1 minute. So I made a short version. As you can imagine: with the 2 beat lines (kick only and kick+hats) one can go on for a long time turning some knobs on the Driftbox. Happy24!
Wow great session and portable set up too! Love NTS-1 the most lately I got a second one.. Have you take a look at its plug ins? Game changer! Subscribed for more! 👍
Thanks dude! I just got the nts-1 specifically for its plugins actually. I recently bought an Aira T-8 (I like small devices I can take to work) and it’s super fun but doesn’t have a high pass filter, the nts-1 solved that :) I just bought a TD-3 so I think my next home studio video will be very techno, let’s see 😂
Hey it’s a pocket operator that’s going into a korg nts-1 (for reverb). Then the audio goes into the Tasman recorder. That’s it, pretty simple stuff but sometimes that’s the best when you’re limited for time. I literally had 15 minutes to get this down before I had to go back to work!
@streetdoghanoi shit, you did this before work. Love it man, it makes me think of how you can always make time for your passions, if you truly have a Thurston to pursue it. Keep it up man. Good shit.
@@kaylebsass760 big love for that comment dude and you’re totally right. Take a look at some of my other videos, I got a kinda main setup at home but I like to have a smaller thing going on that I can throw in a backpack. Changing environments is really inspirational. I'm going to do a lot more outdoors stuff I think so hopefully have some interesting locations to film while I jam!
Hanoi looks great, I saw the mobile tour video. Delicate and beautiful.

Super dope!
Thanks dude! ❤️
Great jam with such a simple setup.
Thanks dude, it's always nice to strip things back and just focus to one piece of gear I think.
Nice one - I coincidently made a lunch break jam a few years too. With a NTS-1.

Thanks dude! ❤️
Alright, sound nice and groovy!
An outdoor setup also adds a nice flavor to it
Thanks dude! ❤️
What equipment are you using. I like how stripped back it is. Are you playing the sample on a Pocket operator? Or some other kind of sampler ??
