Could you provide some build guides for level 30 characters? There's thousands of players such as myself still in the normal acts of the game. There's literally hundreds of videos of end game builds... and we really don't need more of them.
This came at the perfect time for me thank you so much bro, I hope they fix thee bug with reload jamming sometimes I'm waiting 5 seconds before I can shoot
Hey Woolie, couple of things. I think Innervate is one of the best links for HoT. I also think your explanation of that link is a little too generous. To trigger that damage, we first must kill a target and acquire the damaging passive effect of HoT, then kill something with HoT. It does appear to be generous on that last point, because so long as the hit with HoT kills, Innervate will trigger instead of meticulously checking if the actual damage from HoT killed the target; either that or HoT is the very last thing to hit the target when an attack is made. I don't believe that second point is true, though, because if you're oneshotting white mobs without the HoT damage, you still spend HoT stacks when hitting them. It is a nit pick, but it's a mileage may vary sort of thing. As for resistances on monsters. Debuffs SHOULD apply first. PoE 2 is still new, and riddle with bugs, but conductivity should reduce the enemy res first, then exposure will stack on top of that to further reduce res, then you penetrate the rest. So, say you have a boss with gold lightning res or something near 50% (it seems), conductivity (flat) will reduce that to 18%, exposure (flat) will reduce it further to -2%, and then penetration is useless. Penetration gets worse, and a curse + exposure get better, the lower and lower res the monster has. I've made a lot of assertions there, let me again reiterate that it SHOULD work like this, and not because that is my opinion but because that seems to be the order of operations and letter of rules.
Thank you for your guides man!! My monk was my first ranged character, then moved to warrior (following your guide) and I’m having a lot of fun with it! I’m hoping that they do buff or boost life or armor to feel tanky but none the less I’ll be following your guides in the future for PoE 2! o7
This is the build I started with, but as a Deadeye (currently pure eva + acro, thinking about trying to swap to ES/Eva but I'm doing alright atm). Was gonna do LA, but noticed the amount of coverage investment it would need and ditched that idea in act 3. I think Tailwind's even more valuable in PoE 2 since there seems to be less attack speed on tree. Extra proj essentially doubles the magazine size on shockburst because it follows sequentially, which is great with emergency reload. It also let's you comfortably run shock nades as a reliable electrocuting/shock button vs maps/map bosses. A couple of things I'd recommend generically for shockburst/galvanic setups: If you can afford the annoint that gives 60% chance to chain again that's more than enough coverage investment to drop fork and add a damage link. Another thing I'd recommend for bosses with big damage windows/pre-setup time/heavy ailment res is running an off hand quarterstaff and slotting in Gathering Storm with exposure and shock magnitude. Gathering Storm when perfect cast drops shocked ground, which allows you to avoid the "less shock duration" debuff from the magnitude gem while also guaranteeing shock and thus exposure allow shockburst to be reliable. I needed this vs the time wizard in Sekhema, but he holds still a lot so it was very helpful. Lastly because I'm using the quarterstaff, I slotted the mark and curse into Hand of Chayula so both will cast same time when I need the burst.
You could add hand of chayula (monk chaos punch) to apply your Mark and Conductivity to a boss instantly. Idk if there’s support gems that you need for those
Currently being wacky using this for inspiration on a Pathfinder. I'm using bow/quiver on one weapon set with crossbow on the other doing this Galvanic setup for clear, but have snipe and snipers mark with the bow for single target.
I really hope they gonna buff Witchhunter and Crossbows in the next patch. I really like this build but had to switch to explosive shot(Which is even more fun for me) because the clewar speed was really lacking. I really want to make another Witchhunter with Galvenic.
I'm more inclined to believe elemental curses like conductivity (and exposure too) apply _before_ penetration, making pen effectively useless if target's res isn't positive after being reduced by the curse. I have no evidence of this other than the fact that you can see a monster's res symbols change when cursing them, which means their res is lowered before hitting them, and then you hit them with penetration which cannot go below 0.
I really enjoy your build and playstyle! I play local co-op with my wife, who runs a Spark Sorceress. Since she consistently applies debuffs and shocks enemies, my role is mainly to spam Galvanic and Shockburst. Given that setup, what adjustments would you recommend for this build? Do you think there’s anything else worth tweaking? Thank you.
can we use Hands of wisdom and action gloves with this build since we stack int/dex ? thanks for this build, I went armor/ES and it's great but I think this energy shield farm makes it tankier
galvanic is slightly slower at mapping/clearing compared to gas nades but galvanic has significantly better single target DPS against pinnacles/ubers so if you actually want to progress in late endgame you def need to swap to galvanic otherwise you will basically be gatekept at ubers
@ohhkennny766 i will problaby switch to galvanic witchhunter, dont know If i want tô lvl another merc hahah... Just waiting a bit, getting some more currency
I haven't tried leveling with bolt skills yet (they will feel underwhelming without twink gear) I've always done grenades because they hit hard and I love them. They take some finesse to learn. They can feel bad on frantic mobbing until you can reach enough attack speed and cooldown to spam, but they'll always shred a boss standing still(start with scattershot and magnified effect in explosive nade, +fast forward for faster fuse if you have 3rd socket). Once you hit a certain attack speed threshold you can fire so many of them you end up needing to hunt for even more cooldown and they wont feel so sluggish to use, and the attack speed will make follow up explosive shots feel snappy if you dont want to wait for them, or alternate gas-exp-gas so you don't run out of charges (oil nade then gas-exp alternating for tough elites and bosses). I also path up to Price of Freedom asap so I don't even need to use mana pots anymore (level 70)
im level 23 and cant kill bosses in the campaign for shit, takes super long while making use of the bow lightning rod setup. is there anything else you used or did it just take you super long to kill bosses in the campaign? this build look super fun when i have both my main skills but rn when i dont it just hurts to level
@ the mobalytics guide had s leveling section so i assumed i could? i’m completely new to poe as a whole so idk how i was supposed to tell if i couldn’t
I definitely hit a wall on my witchunter around level 25 as well, but was one shotting bosses by the time I reached cruel difficulty. My best piece of advice would be to check the trade site, as I’m guessing you could probably get a massive damage boost from buying a bow for 1 exalted orb as long as you’re not playing SSF. Having bad gear can make a great build terrible, so I would try that first. Also make sure you’re upgrading your skills with skill/support gems when you can.
I was inspired by captain poland to try warcrys and.. I don't even want to finish leveling. Perfect striking bosses to death IS satisfying I'll give it that, but the moment I went back my grenade titan I didn't want to touch the warbringer again
surely if something can avoid damage this well and map clear this easily whilst at range that must mean all classes can do that right? every archetype of classes correct? so melee must be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@misere4 well it sounds like you're making a suggestion for something he cant do. Im just pointing out its a bit of an investment and not viable for alot of builds

We haven't abandoned melee, we just let it cook for a while longer, like a good stew.
