I Love the way Ms Gladys interacts with the audience, while she performs. Not every artist can connect with the audience. This shows she has been performing a long time. She sings the same, and with her whole heart. I would love to see her in Concert, before she retires. Lol.. She is Awesome, and Legendary.

I think that she deserves more honors, too, but she has indeed done well...with honors still coming in. Seven Grammy awards...plus two honorary ones...for her & the Pips' version of "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," plus of course, "Midnight Train to Georgia." I love Questlove's documentary "Summer of Soul," in which Gladys & the Pips are featured so perfectly, plus excerpts of an interview with her. Oh, here's a cool trivia matter: In the same year they won for R&B vocal by a group for "Midnight Train," they also won in the pop category for "Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye)." If you were ever to see her live, you will never forget it! I saw her direct a Mormon choir and it sounded like a thousand people. I was living in Henderson, NV when I was leaving Whole Foods and nearly knocked her down and was embarrassed, she was pleasantly beautiful. Then we said hi to each other. I have seen her in Los Angeles and Oakland, CA. A royal treat.
I have not heard Gladys Knight in ages and I wondered if she was still performing. After listening to this short concert Gladys Knight still Rocks! Her voice and range are still going strong. There's nothing like the good old soulful Motown music of those times. This music is timeless!!! It really brings back sweet, sweet memories and the good thing is that Everyone can sing along and relate to it. It puts you in the mood for love certainly. I have not had the pleasure of seeing her in concert but one day soon she Will grace the the stage with that resounding voice of hers and I Will be there to enjoy! She also engages her audience and I like that. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her after soooo long. Gladys is like old wine, the more it ages the sweeter it is. May God continue to bless and keep her!

I was there in London when she did her concert. It wasn't amazing defend I got to see her once again. I've seen her the first time in 1994 when she came to my Hometown in cherry point North caralina I saw her for the first time. She was amazing, and she still is amazing. Love, her, One of my favorite female artists of all time grew up with her music. Music today just isn't music anymore to me? It will always be the old school music. That really means something today. I have been VERY critical of legendary perfomers who continue to tour long after their prime such as Rod Stewart, Cliff Richard, Tony Bennett, Dionne Warwick, Paul McCartney, Diana Ross and even Madonna. The recent Queen's Jubilee performances and Glastonbury sets were tragic and a sad spectacle. Madonna looking more like an elderly Mae West with her adopted son David writhing over her was disturbing on a number of levels and don't get me started on the Rolling Cadavers! Even Aretha before her death was just plain bad. How refreshing to see and hear Gladys who can STILL deliver a great performance. Alongside Streisand, Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey she is one of just a handful of 60s and 70s stars who can still deliver a great live vocal. Of course their voices have matured but the know how to compensate and still get the best out of their instrument. Thanks for posting this.

"Been with" Gladys since the early 60's ("With Every Beat of my Heart"). We're the same age (70's). Went to see her at the Hulu Theater @ Madison Square Garden In N.Y.C. (and there 'ain't' NO crowd like a N.Y. crowd...I know, I'm a lifetime New Yorker ... :) ) and she was fantastic. This woman still has her "pipes". Her movement is slower (and being 70 something nearing 80, I understand that). But she can still sing her a** off and I loved and still love her and her classics....came of age with them!! She turned it out!! Love you, Gladys!!!
