Introduction to the Ecological Model in most simple terms! In this video, I have learned what the ecological model is. This model is composed of different level--Individual level, Interpersonal level, Organizational, Community, and Public Policy. The Ecological model describe how the community is affected by the individual and also how the individual can impact its surroundings. It is a dynamic relationship since each level interacts with each other. Thank you for this helpful video!

As a health and social care student, I kinda wish you just gave it in simple terms.

I am in instructor at City College of San Francisco, Health Education Department. This is an excellent video that I'd love to include in my online course. We are required that our video content have accurate captions to meet accessibility guidelines. Would you be willing to enable the Community Captions feature so I can provide appropriate captioning (which you would then need to approve)? Thanks so much.

Use of "impact" as a substitute for "effect", "affect", or "influence" should be used sparingly, if at all. Perhaps in metaphorical sense such as "the new laws will impact the economy". This reminds us of the image of what the word "impact" should represent: something forcefully connecting with something else, as in "a meteor caused a crater when it impacted the earth". When it is used in other cases in such a ubiquitous manner, it decreases the effectiveness of its meaning. It also sounds quiet amatuerish. I know this is a dying argument but I will keep it up as long as I can.
