      When the neighbour made that call to the police department he hoped and expected drama That's why he put together all the trigger words black, suspicious & woman he wanted the thug squad to come charging onto his street guns poised. I bet he was indoors watching behind curtains. Thank goodness what they got was a nice community officer who saw he was facing a child.
      The neighbours intention was malicious or he would have spoken to the child's mother as he is fully aware of the family. He is a nasty piece of work and feel he can just say sorry and move on. No, he needs to be watched
      The moral of this story is, just because they tolerate you in the neighbourhood doesn't mean they like you

So she did like her daughter (expanded the recipe to make it work for her), she expanded the headlines to make this work for her daughter and her family. Okay, and what's wrong with her being alone? Looking at that little girl there is no WAY she could have been mistaken for a woman. I don't want to assume the neighbor was racist but why did they have to say BLACK? Blacks were called girl and boy for so long as ADULTS but now the narrative has changed because when they call you a woman most cops come prepared to handle you. Couldn't it just be reported that someone I'm not familiar with is walking around and I'm not sure what she's doing but she is spraying something? Spraying something isn't a crime so why waste taxpayers money calling the police unless you expect a negative outcome. When is this craziness going to STOP?

      True. 👍 I say there is no need to reach out to the neighbor anymore. Allow him to watch how his actions actually improved your entire family's future. Showing him is more impactful than telling him anyway. This has been the way people have destroyed our lives in the past. But, we are beyond that now, in part thanks to body camera footage.

    What an exciting opportunity for Bobbi, to meet women of color, who are trailblazers in science. I have no doubt Bobbi will be going places in life, and her legacy will become a part of critical race theory. Mom, you did an excellent job of raising these two young ladies with poise and confidence. Big Sis, everyone should have a protective sibling like you. These two girls are amazing!
    I just want to share some info about dish detergent’s usefulness against invasive insects in and outside the home. Twenty-five years ago, I was using it, mixed with mint mouthwash, water and rubbing alcohol, to kill aphids on rose bushes. I mixed something similar to kill spider mites that ravished my Pachira (aka money tree) plants. They covered the plants in webs, and the leaves dropped off like flies. After spraying the plants, they bounced back in weeks, and grew to almost six feet tall. For several years, I’ve been mixing Dawn dish detergent, water, and apple cider vinegar to kill household bugs. Here in Ohio, where I moved to three years ago, some type of beetle bug kept showing up in my living room and at times, in my bedroom. I learned they were stink bugs. I bought Raid, and several natural bug sprays, but none were as effective as the dish soap, water and ACV combo. One or two squirts, and those stink bugs were done. That spray kills lots of other insects as well.

    • @CabinFever52
      @CabinFever52 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What a nice comment :)
      Side note: I lived in Ohio and I used Dawn (better than others because it's more like a glue ---and hard to rinse off dishes--and blocks the insects from breathing). It is definitely better than chemical sprays like Ortho and works great! Have a great day!

    First, she is so precious. God bless Bobbi and her family. On another note.. I hear you black mother! 1. The man who made the call to the CPD in my opinion is a coward and a undercover racist... especially since he doesn't want to talk! Acknowledgement is the first step of admitting you mis-stepped and didn't mean to do what you did. 2. Bobbi we are glad you are still with us, Amen! 3. Kudos to Caldwell PD for deploying an officer who was interested in the community. If the wrong officer was patrolling with a beef to pick or some sort of point to prove with Black America, Bobbi wouldn't be here!
    People it is situations just like this that get blown out of proportion. I hope and pray that America will wake up. NO, everything doesn't have to be about race... but white America makes it about race when they do racist things and don't want to learn from it or give dialogue to it admitting that they took a misstep and how to advoid it next time. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away, it just embraces more racism... and the cycle continues. In my opinion, people who do things like such should be put on blast!
    Bobbi I'm glad you and your family took the higher ground. But do you ever wonder why do we always have to take the higher ground?

  • @highthoughts1

    This neighbor meant harm. He was always watching with hate. He thought that these black folks were getting 'too much' in his neighborhood. He hates how they look so happy and vibrant. He also contrasted it with his own problems...and he was ever looking for an opportunity as that one. He would not talk to her because he knew how transparent his truth would be. He is disappointed by the fact that it did not work how he wanted...but it turned the opposite by showing him up for who he is.

    As a Muslim there’s a verse in the Quran that says. "But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not".
    So while the person who called the cops thought she was up to no good, she just might be the one who saves lives in the future and while people thought that person is a horrible racist person for calling the cops. ( which they might be) they were the reason why we and the world knows about this amazing child. So next time you find yourself in a similar situation just take a pause and say “perhaps this is good for me”
