Elijah is an incredible kid!!! Kids should have a voice and be protected against things like abuse, war, hunger, homelessness, child labor, etc. As adults we should be standing with kids and showing them how to be kind and impact the world, not the other way around. God bless people like Elijah that cares so deeply for others.

I just want to say thank you to this young man. I'm 29 now but I grew up with a physically and emotionally abusive step dad. I wanted to kill myself because sometimes it seemed the only way out. I would call the cops but he was friends with the cops so it was always turned on me. I felt alone and powerless.
He is a ray of hope for the many kids in abusive homes. I hope they feel empowered to speak up and get help. Thank you so much for being so mature and loving. You are extraordinary. Mom has done a wonderful job. You will be a great leader in our country one day. 💕
