I remember people were so conflicted about the new animation style when these first dropped. Glad people can respect them now for how amazing they are. Plastic Beach was and still is a goldmine.
I consider this to be the Super Smash Bros Brawl of Gorillaz's music videos. It's presented in a more realistic way with CGI, but many still prefer the artistic 2D animated style before. Still cool for Gorillaz trying new mediums of animation.
I admit yeah, Plastic Beach grew on me. But I really miss the Kong Studios site and forums. Both of which were removed with Plastic Beach. There was a Plastic Beach interactive site sure, nowhere near as good.

There’s one man who got a rail road stake shot straight through his frontal lobe and out the back and he lived, he was unbelievable aggressive and abusive to his loved ones afterwards but it really got people thinking about how that was possible to begin with.
