I find her 45sand albums in junk shops.....guess she's not putting anymore out. But, I buy all if find...even if I already got the. I just ordered and received a small rca 45s so I can play a bunch without having to change the records.

Also, the actor Jose Ferrer told him to become a professional extra because you get more money. Probably more extra parts too, I would think. My nephew, his son, is an actor in California. Played an extra in a lot of shows like NCIS: Los Angeles and Desperately Seeking Susan. Been in a lot of movies too. Not sure if he’s gotten any acting gigs where his name is listed though. Haven’t been keeping up with him lately. Haven’t kept up with much of anything of anyone lately. Not felt like it.

Many female versions followed and today many people consider the song to be part of the feminist / women's liberation movement of the 70s.
He had the good sense to just be a compliment and let her carry the load. He wrote it and some writers would feel like it's their song and they deserve the spotlight, but here he quite happily deferred to her. We are all better for it.

Kris and Brenda do a great job on that score, however. And she throws in some beautiful soaring notes not heard elsewhere.

He gets a little confused around 2:00 about who's turn it is, probably because they are doing the exchanges differently than he did with Rita. It probably helps that Brenda is never off-key and so he can just match her pitch.

He has a pretty amazing voice for speaking in my opinion, but his ability to stay on pitch while singing has always sounded almost as bad to me as my own. Kinda' sad (for both of us).
