I bought mine yesterday. Spent 4 hrs. last night loading and unloading different rounds trying to get it to feed the first round. It never did, not once. I also ordered the American SpeedLoaders CP-33 Nest Style SpeedLoader. Should be in first of next week. I pray this fixes the problem.
I happened on a bargain for this gun new a few weeks ago. A few things to note. First READ THE MANUAL! It is excellent. Any ammunition that is 40 gr or 1200 fps+ works. One thing from the manual is a warning not to slingshot the charging handle with an empty chamber. Keltec recommends using the American Speed Loader which like the gun is very different but works very well. You can buy it from Keltec or Amazon at the same price. The sights are really nice but I happened on a Feyachi Reflex Sight RS 28 for $35 on Amazon! For a .22 I thought what the heck and bought it. Unbelievable! It has read and green sights with 5 brightness settings. In addition 4 different sights to choose. If that’s not enough EVERY adjustment is tactical. They also make the RS 30 which is co witness for $45. I sighted it with a bore sight and went to the range. Right off the bat I was shooting pieces out of the target right out of it! After coming back from the range I decided I wanted an easier way to eject the magazine. TandemKross developed a kind of handle that attaches to the bottom of the magazine. Available at Keltec or TandemKross for $25 for 2. Another option is a mag extender that extends the magazine capacity to 50 rounds!!!!! Also at $25 for 2. This is absolutely a crazy fin gun withe 5.5” barrel!!!
Those are actually hex bolts, not rivets. The mag loosens up a bit after enough use so its not as tight of fit. Also ammo picky. The speed loader that they sell now is perfect for not getting rim lock.
I think the M-lok is one of the most innovative things about this gun. No extra bulk when you don't have anything attached. And possibly even more compact with a light/laser attached.
Man, that m-lok system really comes in handy doesnt it? My AR and AK both have it and now this pistol... I can attach a little candy pod for when I need a sugar rush while running out those 33 round mags
This gentleman obviously never owned another keltec product.... they all have “rivets” actually pan screws, all Keltecs and the waffle grip design so it’s a concurrent brand feature rather then anything unique to the CP33. Otherwise good desktop review

I got mine back from KelTec yesterday and this thing is like a whole different gun now! Wow, it works fantastic now!
