Great looking 38 dude, I've yet to build one, I might consider one of those!

Trust Adam to find things the rest of us miss. Should have watched this video before building my little 38t. Rock on Adam!

Wow, I'm used to no Adam videos and now I have double-feature after action reports in my notifications!
For the 38(t), yes generally they have unusual clamps and also leather straps and such to hold on the tools and tow cable. I have seen them with German clamps, but only when they modify the tool stowage significantly...which was not rare as each unit was doing its own thing with adding big bins and fuel can racks and such. The photos I based my befehls vehicle on have German clamps on the forward fenders to hold the shovel etc.

Interesting. This vehicle only had that tanker bar so I just left it. My brain said replace the lack of clamps with clamps but I was having fun so I didn't. I suppose we should discuss 38ts sometime.

I just built the Tamiya Vespe ##35200 and i am finishing the painting now and it was a joy very satisfying. I have built and painted the Hobby Boss 38T # 80137 and it was excellent. I highly recommend this Hobby Boss kit.

Always nice to see a video from you Adam even though it usually ends up with me having to buy another kit 😞

Man that 38(t) and the Marder I look both enticing! Thank you for the short report on those two kits. I have both in my stash, so it will be handy one day to know about a few problems with them here and there :)

Thanks for these reviews. The 38(t) has been a subject to build for some time.

I enjoy your videos, I agree the new Tamiya kits fly together and the tracks are a godsend.
Keep the mojo high man, don’t let Social Media arseholes get on top.

It’s ALWAYS great to see your videos Adam 🙏🤩😂 I know and appreciate that your a very busy chap so for me as I said it’s great to see/hear from you. I must admit though I do miss your Tiger 1 videos and with all the new kits flooding the market I do wish you’d throw us your thoughts on them. Like RyeField full interior kits are now same price, almost, as a Dragon Tiger 1 so it’d be good to have your thoughts on how the RyeField Tigers now compare to the Dragon ones 🙏🙏🙏 I’ve always respected your opinion and whenever I’ve asked which one should I get you’ve been honest and, if I may say so extremely sympathetic to my lake of knowledge on the Tiger 1, now, thank goodness I can just about get buy but I still miss your valuable information and input 🤓🤓🤓
Thanks as always for another great video filled with useful information. Take care, best wishes to you and your family, Kenny 👍👍👍

I have all of the old Tristar 38t kits as re-released by Hobby Boss. A couple of years ago they were going on Amazon for crazy cheap so I snapped them up. They are possibly the polar opposite of the Tamiya kit having very complex assemblies, plenty of photo etch, partial interiors and individual track links.

The tracks on the Pz. 38(t) aren't fitted backwards. They are fitted the way they should be. Look up some reference photos.

    • @AdamMann3D
      @AdamMann3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

I will admit that quite a a few images of 38(t) have tracks that way. But other images have them in the direction that German tanks usually do with the "shoe" on the bottom. I will look in to this.

Tamiya is top notch. Moreover, the profit does not support chi-com slave labor.

I think it's a rebox or retooled kit from another manufacturer

Great review Adam, I wasn't aware the tracks were backwards?, makes you wonder if Tamiya know they are backwards?

I am seeing more wartime photos of them the way the kit is than the other way round.
