I think both should enjoy sharing that responsibility.
The pluck your eye reference is good and consistently mentioned throughout the Bible. Love thy neighbour includes making their passage to righteousness as easy as possible, as you’d like for yourself, so taking that accountability and dressing more modestly or simply making the decision to not wear that more revealing outfit will be great. We are people of service to each other.
Romans 14:21 - “It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.“
Amen
Same for men , when wearing are wardrobe ..
I liked what you said at the end
No, women are not responsible for man's lust. However, women are held accountable for dressing immodestly (which they are clearly told not to do throughout the bible). Both men and women are required to practice self control.
1 Timothy 2:9 = In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness (modesty) and sobriety (self-control); not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Proverbs 11:22 = Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman without discretion.
Romans 14:13 = make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 = What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
As a woman, you are responsible for keeping yourself pure until marriage.
And men are responsible for protecting their wives.
It's nothing special really. Or it didn't use to be.
It's worth noting that men are also responsible for keeping themselves pure until marriage... and beyond marriage tbh
@@be_salt Yeah, but women are the ones that decide who and when because of feminism. And almost none of them decide to marry whoever took their virginity, at least in Western countries. They postpone marriage ad infinitum until they hear the clock ticking and that is not the way at all.
You could do things the right way and say to a guy "I won't have sex with you until we marry" when you're 18. NOT when you're 35. Most men would agree with that when they are young, not when they're mature.
So that is up to women 100% nowadays except for assault cases.
@@Sol-De-Inviernopurity is required regardless of age od past. If someone slided from the way and then fized tje relationship with God, they must be working on keeping clean and staying aeay from promiscuity, both men and women.
@@ana-maria448 Women are the ones that decide who gets laid, when and how.
Equality is idolatry.
I used to drive an expensive sports car that would attract gold diggers all the time. It works both ways. Take responsibility for YOUR OWN actions. Dress like a trollop and you will be treated as one.
Try a fiat punto, works a treat for repelling gold diggers 😅
@@zapper9454 I've realised 99% of women are gold diggers. Christian woman are still women and aren't exempt from that statistic.
😂
