To all who is stuck at 4:05. Before pressing Shift+Ctrl+V you have to select the layer (you can press M and select OR press Ctrl+A). Then press Shift+Ctrl+C, go to Channels, create a new channel and press Ctrl+V. That's it. To the author: you made a really cool tutorial, thank you! But your speed of pressing keys without much explanations makes it hard to follow for beginners like me.
as far as tutorials go I think some parts were a little hard to follow BUT this fire effect looks so SO good and I managed to get it eventually. thank you so much!
At the beginning I’m like “What the crap are these shapes? How is this gonna help?” Then at the end “Holy crap this is amazing! So beautiful and insanely good!”
This is honestly an amazing tutorial, im over here thinking i need to be some great artist to make good vfx, and you just proved that so wrong, so simple and basic, but turned it into something amazing
Amazing and creative fire particles, I love the way how you cerate raw texture of fire in photoshop and implement that material into Unity. You got a SUB and LIKE DUDE❤
Any chance you could make a whole series of stylized vfx? Like I know youre already doing a series on VFX basics but id be pretty awesome to see more stylized focused tutorials like this one. Awesome work keep it up :D
hihi :) btw why dont u have an patreon account? i love that u give ur projects 4free away but u could also lock them and unlock them only for patreon supporters :) u earn that ! :)
hmm i dont think u are forced to upload 1 vid per month or something like that patreon is without any rules? at least i didnt heard about any rules like that u should still be able to make ur *AWESOME! :D* stuff when u feel for it^^ i wish i had more time then i would watch all ur vids this year i will at least see nearly all ur vids and then i will patreon or paypal u ty
@5.25 he clicks on particles then alpha blender. and i dont see alpha blender anywhere in there please help me edit found it is now in mobile then particals then aphablender
Really good tutorial, I ended up making an overly complex torch fire for my simulation game lol. I wonder how you would implement light? I tried adding a light, it looks good but, it has very short range, and changing the range of the light or changing the range multiplier does nothing...
I am so sorry but I can't understand what he is saying after 4:04? He uses some shortcuts at that point but I can't figure out what...please can somebody help?
great tutorial! everything worked out well and changed a few things in the end with the colors, maybe one small tip, try to talk a little slower, or show where you do what. i had to play some parts over and over again because you did it all so fast Keep up the good work eitherway!
Is it possible to create a targa file like that in clip studio? It has a tga export option, but I can't figure out if it's possible to do the channel stuff
When creating the Material for alpha blended, it starts off as grey instead of white, tint color is of course the same as shown in the video. Wonder why...
Thanks for another brilliant tutorial! Your vids are a huge help, If it wasn't for you I don't know if you would have been able to get into particles on Unity as I did.
wow I follow your channel since your have 1 or 2k subs and today you work for Riot ! CONGRAATS ❤ Plz continue to create nice skins like that AND 1 SKIN FOR AURELION SOL AND TALIYAH 😏
Thats nice, but i have a problem, in photohop i cant copy everything and past to the channel to add the transparency, when i click shift + C it will go for crop and doesnt copy anything any help pls?
I am not able to have multiple textures display at once. If I drag the new one over the same way you did, it simply replaces the one I worked on previously and does not layer on top of the existing flame.

Thanks! Glad it helped! :)
This is perfect. Somewhere in between realistic and cartoony/stylized. Love it.
Seriously, this is one of the best particle tutorials I've ever seen! Had to rewind a lot of times to watch carefully the actions tho xD
Thank you so much, we are doing a project school game and we don't have so much idea about particles, you helped us!
@Dziiidy The VR Guy mine uses html and javascript 😐
as far as tutorials go I think some parts were a little hard to follow BUT this fire effect looks so SO good and I managed to get it eventually. thank you so much!
This is such a great tutorial, love it when you started channeling Bob Ross 1:45 that is a super cool way to create the stylized fire shape Superb!
You went above and beyond, at least for a vfx noob like me. Thanks!
Glad it was useful! :D
Man, this looks amazing. I never used Unity or any game engine, but your tutorial looks so simple and self explanatory. Great job!

I used your tutorial about a year ago and absolutely forgot to thank you. Thanks a lot! It looks so awesome!
Sometime I think you need to tell us what you're pressing.
wow, your tutorial is simple and the fire is so beautiful. I just watched some tuts before but your tut is the most brilliant!
bạn ơi unity của mình không có Alpha blended , đoạn 5:25 ý , mình phải làm sao
At the beginning I’m like “What the crap are these shapes? How is this gonna help?” Then at the end “Holy crap this is amazing! So beautiful and insanely good!”

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TUTORIAL!
Really good tutorial, I ended up making an overly complex torch fire for my simulation game lol. I wonder how you would implement light? I tried adding a light, it looks good but, it has very short range, and changing the range of the light or changing the range multiplier does nothing...
Now this is a tutorial, great job!
For the download file, how did you club everything to create a prefab asset.
4:08 i cant do this step, i cant copy and paste onto alpha, why?
Me too):
I am so sorry but I can't understand what he is saying after 4:04? He uses some shortcuts at that point but I can't figure out what...please can somebody help?
Now we're just gonna copy all of this? it was really clear: crtl+shift+c
You are insane bro! thx
How is he copying the layer at 4:04?? I can't figure it out
following this tutorial now, some of the functions have moved, is there any other tutorial out there close to this one, but up to date?
Thanks for making these.

How did you paste it? im stuck
Thanks for this tutorial
Wow! I ❤️ this tutorial!!
This is amazing , I learned a lot. But you should click on the tool when changing it because it is a bit hard for beginners to catch-up
hello! Is there a reason why are you using .targa format for the texture? i never have heard about it :)
i was looking at this tutorial to create particles thinking'' i fuc*ing know this voice'' so I saw it was you :D
omg Stefano! It's been such a long time!! How have you been? :D
Thank you for your wonderful tutorial!

Yeah sorry I'm not the best speaker there is for sure. 😅
Still glad it worked out!
Amazing tutorial!
Thank you for that! Amazing
Is it possible to create a targa file like that in clip studio? It has a tga export option, but I can't figure out if it's possible to do the channel stuff
You sir, are awesome!
i love your tutorials :)
would love to see something more complex :)

you are actually working for riot now? :o
Delok yep look the VFX Folios 😀
Amine that is awesome dude, we told you, you can do it :D congrats man
I really love this tutorial, made a beautiful fire. The only problem is that it doesn't show in game...
Thats nice, but i have a problem, in photohop i cant copy everything and past to the channel to add the transparency, when i click shift + C it will go for crop and doesnt copy anything any help pls?
Hey dude, you ever done this effect in the Lightweight Render Pipeline?
I am not able to have multiple textures display at once. If I drag the new one over the same way you did, it simply replaces the one I worked on previously and does not layer on top of the existing flame.
Also, have you created this kind of thing in GIMP?
Hi , when I made mine, the alpha particle system (PS_Fire_Alpha) became green at some places with the other particle system added. how can I fix that?
great video,thanks!
Amazing. Thanks!
