Seth Godin talks to Bernadette Jiwa about ideas from his book The Icarus Deception and shares his insights on overcoming fear and what we need to do now.
Bernadette, I couldn't agree more. I watch/listen to almost all of Seth's videos and it truly is thought provoking..........ESPECIALLY in this case. Thanks.
Hi Rosaline, Thanks for saying lovely things and for being here. Without you there would be no reason to do this work. It's hard when you're putting things out into the world not to obsess about perfection and to just be yourself. It helps to have good and generous friends like Seth who make it easier and who always have something to say that's worth listening to.
Hi Bernadette! This is my first exposure to you. I loved your interview! What I loved most was the way you talk - quiet yet clear - and how peaceful the whole conversation was. No one was proving anything. It was just an exploration and conversation between friends. That is how it came across. I really appreciated this vibe because it's not something I see very often on interviews. Thank you for creating this and thank you for sharing it with us! Cheers! :)
You can feel Bernadette and Seth resonating with each other. This video is another gem where both give great insights. Thank you. I just dont understand why there are so few visualisations, this video should be in everyone's eyes and ears.
Thanks Richard. The mugs were part of the rewards that came when you backed Seth's Kickstarter. Alas I don't think they are available for sale. I use mine every day....as a reminder.
Bernadette - nice depth and beauty too! I am a Seth aficionado so I am hoping you would post your thoughts on having too many sites. I'd like to hear candidly would Seth wave a wand and put it all under a central site and be more conservative & more consistent - not to judge especially given the 2 decades involved. Knowing him a little bit I would say he would vigorously say no! My takeaway on the mechanics, RIGHT NOW, for an overworked author like me, is to go with Wordpress and plugins. But one hole remains - which is how best to help people connect with each other to raise those leaders in their particular areas. I would love to hear any experience how to start that, without my having to divert too much additional time and effort that I certainly do not have staff to do. Or do I put that off till "later"?

I really like the way your mind work, and the way you ask questions on the current state of things...
My new mantra: "Before you consume, Create" Seth Godin. Thank you for doing this interview
Yes, Seth's last line was my favourite.
Glad it resonated with you.
