This is a prime example of why some teachers no longer teach, myself included. We very recently have a generation of people who want it all, want it now, & want it for free, without the decades of learning & the pain of mistakes and the vast wisdom of experience that first hand real learning brings!
Well, the gübment is there to give everyone ultimate happiness. We are a generation who understand that the key tenet of success and prosperity is to pledge your allegiance to gübment and have them direct your path all the way, from cradle to grave. They are our new father and mother. Big Gübment is God. Now get down on your knees and worship it. It knows best. At least, this is what today's generation believes in their heart of hearts. Me, I'm old school. Raised and refined in the school of hard knocks and decades of grit underneath the fingernails. 🇺🇸💕💪
Great Interviewer. One of the few that knows when to ask, when not to interrupt and allows the guest to speak to their hearts content. Sometimes I don't understand why some interviewers like to interrupt when the guest is in the midst of speaking. Good on you Greg !
Thanks for this Greg. Seven years later I'm enjoying it immensely. Seth is someone I became aware of recently (yeah I live in a cave) and I believe he's made my hero list as well. The funny thing is, for being on point, no nonsense, straight forward, and full of wisdom. Great stuff.
Greg, regarding that courage thing, is to realize everything you experience is just you sending yourself data to learn and improve. EVERYTHING, their are no exceptions.
Yes, I agree with others here: you asked some great questions, Greg, especially as Seth had to really pause to think about some of his answers - so they weren't standard questions, and they delivered a more personal insight into Seth, himself. Well done! ... And thank you, Seth, for giving us your best, always!
What resonated with me and my current position of being one year in my business and growth is aiming to just be the best in what I do and that my niche is by the common ground that the people who come to me will speak on. Great insight and content in this 🙏🏽
I don't like to speak of myself, because I feel that it can be interpreted as cocky via text so I'll try to keep this brief. I agree 16:14. I've been working somewhere for a while now, and I sometimes see myself saying bold things to general manager. But if I was to look at it from a communications perspective, I'm being frank about her presence; the pros and cons of being there on her off day. Instead of a heated argument, she heard that although it's hard to experience it... she doesn't need to say "this'll be the last time i'll stop by don't worry". I don't want to go into depth with that quote, I just hope you see what I mean. Thanks for the podcast! I've been looking for more content on Seth.
I still do lots of physical and emotional labor. I appreciate both. Physical is definitely easier in many ways. Thank you for the continued inspiration!
Greg, thank you for doing and posting this interview. I learned a lot. And, thank you to Mr. Godin, for all your failures. I will be more brave from now on and allow myself to fail more. I'm not as ______ as I thought I was.
AWESOME!!! Thanks Greg for sharing and I am grateful I came across this video! Excellent and Smart questions and very refreshing answers! Looking forward to learn more from you Greg! Thank You!!
Good interview, I'm glad to finally hear someone pronounce the word Niche correctly, I lose respect for people immediately when they say Nitch! Just a pet peeve but made me like Seth more, and made me feel like he really knows his stuff.
Anothergood Q. Why U write this book. His answer better have in it the truth that paper is still much more user friendly bc screens are hard to read still. They will get better, but not today. I still rather read paper. Also, Maybe, just maybe he wanted to help the publishers of books--even may have worked a deal with some--to slow down the all digital, everywhere PUSH.
Technical question. What did you use to record this session? Seth’s video is so clear and high quality. Any specs for how you filmed this would be much appreciated.
I've seen Seth interviewed many times and Greg you did a really good job:) It was thoughtful and didn't slip into the "same ole same ole" I'm sure Seth enjoyed it too because thinkers like speaking with people who think about what they ask.
*Both of you...Mahalo!!*
My organization, Olga Global, has grown stronger because of listening to your talks! Thank you Gina in Lights
We love Seth
Im new to Mr. Godin's ideas. Thank you for the introduction! I was blown away by his ability to explain things soo simply.
Thank you for this. His knowledge is timeless.
No doubt!

Thanks +Hyzel Fadhil
I hate that too. Thanks for pointing that out!
I really liked how you, Greg, slowed down the interview and made room for a deep conversation. Keep it up!
+360racingSteven Thanks Steven!

Seth in our time
Oh I love how likeable Seth Godin looks and sounds. Just nice:)
Thank you to both of you for a great interview,
What scares you was a good Q. Answer not so much. I too was not able to give much when I was broke and struggling. Pretty universal trait, I'd say.

Seth is "Golden"! Looking forward to buying and reading some of his books.
Did you do it?
I still do lots of physical and emotional labor. I appreciate both. Physical is definitely easier in many ways. Thank you for the continued inspiration!
This was a *fabulous interview, you're a great listener, Greg!* ☺️
This guy's great, so ahead of his time.
Damien C He sure is.
I'd argue that he's not ahead at all.. it's just easier to see people who are behind.
Im new to Mr. Godin's ideas. Thank you for the introduction!

His schtick is: be rich and also mentally healthy -- in that order.
Technical question. What did you use to record this session? Seth’s video is so clear and high quality. Any specs for how you filmed this would be much appreciated.
Just Skype + Ecamm Call Recorder. I guess both of our internet connections were solid.
Great interview!! Thank you Greg for sharing!
+ResultInCoaching Thanks for watching!

Shawn Richards by being a kind fucker and not a mean nasty fucker :-D
You just wanted to say fucker didn't you? lol
you just get used to it. it's called exposure therapy.
I sense some impatience in the host's tone. Fear can't be hacked.
How many times people gonna repeat that bullshit about "saint" Mother Teresa?
