I just got a call from a scammer. His voice actually sounded familiar. I’m pretty sure he’s been in one of your videos. I mentioned “scammer payback” and he got pissed and started talking about F-ing my mother. I just laughed and told him thanks for calling. I’ve always wanted to hear how stupid they are. That just made my day.

I am from India & even Indian people are also getting scammed on mobile calls also.
Indian Government is not yet that serious about these scams & bribery is the reason local police authorities delay in responding.

Did any of y'all happen to catch the vid that "SCAMBAITER" dropped on December 2, 2023? "SCAMBAITER," which is also the name of his channel, obtained more than enough evidence to get an entire call center shut down, over 40 people arrested, and the head honcho has a warrant for his arrest. He was not in the province, or whatever they call it, at the time of the raid, but the minute he sets foot into the province where the raid took place, he will be immediately arrested. The best part of the vid is that there is actual footage of the raid occurring.

I just had an attempted scammer almost get me a couple weeks ago. Somehow they disguised their number with the exact number of my bank. I'm a disabled veteran and it made me sick to my stomach the lengths these folks go to to hurt others.

I had a scammer called my grandma and told her that her family was in a bad accident and she needed to send money now to help her family. That's real sad that they would go that low.

I've personally been scammed in the past, and you don't know how devastated I was getting through those hard times losing my hard-earned money and my good mental state. I was also scammed. It sucks they come and steal your money when they don't deserve it. Hopefully someone will scam them in the future then they know how it feels
Same happened to me too, I was scammed out of my hard earned money as well but I was able to get out of it before I continued to lose more of my money. I’ve been able to recover the money that I’ve lost so far but I’m still got a way to go before I get the amount of money that I used to had. I wish you guys the best of trying to recover what you lost, and getting your mental state back and I thank this guy here for doing what needs to be done!!

They don't need TH-camrs to tell them things that are happening on their front doorstep.

Got scammed last Monday and am feeling pretty stupid, lost a lot of money. I initiated a tech support call to Microsoft (could have sworn it was legit) but that call was obviously intercepted by these hateful awful predators. To make it worse, I am on a biz trip I had to cut short so I can get home tomorrow and try to find some resolution. I feel so damned nauseous and embarrassed…… I’ve been working for 45 years and this is what it has come to.
Im sorry that happened. I hope things improve for you, I know this sort of thing can violate your sense of trust and self in a way. Do what you have to do, but also, please take your time to recover, someone took advantage of you, so you shouldnt beat yourself up more about it. It does nothing but just hurt you more. Im hoping good things go your way.

Please dont feel stupid! I was able to catch a live stream from Pierogi the other day and the scammers he was talking with were SOOO good at what they were doing. They even sounded American (not that that always matters). It was insanely believable and it was scary to witness. Don't be ashamed when you get scammed ! The best thing you can do is educate yourself as much as possible & take the necessary precautions to prevent it from happening again. I hope you are able to recover smoothly from this 🙏 I'm sorry to hear you fell victim to these horrible scammers.
So sorry that happened to you. GE Appliances was trying to scam me to explain how my complicated washing machine works. The scammers in India must have a redirect tech in certain legitimate phone numbers to companies. They are all scum. Life could be so beautiful for everyone if they would just stop doing these awful crimes. If all folks had the attributes of a bonobo, it certainly would be a perfect world. ❤
I totally understand how you feel, I was robbed by a lot of money myself, I mean a lot, and when I realized it was a scam, I felt and still feel stupid, and ashamed. I've lost my trust in people ever since. I'm really sorry this happened to you too.
The Indian government must be held accountable for this. Indian government officials and the Indian police may be in cahoots with these criminals, these scammers are prevalent the scamming is rampant.

Thanks! I have a friend (or should I say had ) that sufferd from a severe depression on top of that he got scammed for a lot of money. I remebered him saying that he worked so hard, tried his best to be a respectfull person. Now he got himself getting euthanised, nobody could stop him. His depression whas to heavy and handeling scamming and disrepect only made it worse.
scammers don't know and wouldn't care about the life ending things people will do to themselves after being scammed.

Greetings from India... He is saving so many gullible people from being defrauded. I am really ashamed that these criminals are putting India to shame.
So many of us know it’s isolated to a certain part of your large country. Indian-Americans here work very hard; many have Graduate degrees and are physicians, dentists, researchers, etc. The families here have such high values and place education as a top priority for their children. I know the difference between the different classes of East Indians, but I can imagine how that must make one feel. Blessings to you.
The problem is, this is more than just a few isolated scammers. There is a problem within India's culture itself. That is why the police and government are happy to take a cut of the loot. Many Indians just don't think stealing is wrong. In Hinduism, eating beef is a bigger crime than stealing someone's life savings.

The core issue is the addiction to earn quick bucks. The govt has been doing what it can. However, growing number of cases show that regulations alone are not deterrence to this kind of crime

Just caught a scam in progress at the Bank , and helped the gentleman understand and got the banker to talk to the scammer and stopped it from happening. Hopefully he gets them off his CPU, and nothing bad happens.
I got my first scam called today while I was at work in about two years. So of course I had to be nice as I used my old man's voice as I was working.
Held them up for an hour and a half keeping them laughing to the point they didn't want to get off the phone until they were told to by the chief executive Publisher Clearing House manager 😅
While not a big impact like ya'll do. Am glad at least one person was down for a period of time where they were not scamming someone.

Contacted by a new scam today. Received a calll, American voice, stating that they hAD BEEN TRYING TO REACH ME REGARDING SERVING PAPERS,. They claimed to be an NCR corporation (never heard or an NCR corporation). They claim to be a legal firm. I checked online the are located in New Delhi. A scam I am sure, just one that is new to me.

The worst thing is when the scammer calls you the idiot and dumb for losing money when it's literally the scammer's fault 😢. Usually, my bank puts a stop to it or declines the transactions but if a CashApp is used or Groupon depending on the Merchant both my bank and credit card company are not helpful. I still end up losing money thanks to the awful scammer that tricked me. I've been taken advantage of lied too, cursed at by a scammer, and worse. This is no way any woman should be treated. I don't deserve this noone deserves to get scammed. @Scammer Payback

What concerns me is why these MEGA companies, Amazon, Microsoft, Norton, Mcaffe as examples are doing nothing to stop this. With all their resources, one has to ask a couple of questions, 1) Why aren't they doing this to shut the scum down? 2) Are they really part of the problem... ...do these companies have agreements to allow this stuff in these countries?

I need help with a psycho scammer/hacker, he captured me without clothes and threated to send it to my facebook friends if I didn't send him money. I sent money to not send to them, and now he wants more money. I'm traumatized with every notification sound if it's him again and I made new accounts to hide from him.

This type of scam just happened to my mother in-law. today .They stole a large sum of money from her and her husband .I'm so mad that somebody would do this to somebody this time of year or anytime for that matter.

@@SpaceMiner007 - the replies you are getting are all from fake or scam accounts. Do not contact them, even if they use the scammer payback logo. Facebook is the only one that can help you. File a fraud report on the Facebook Help Center.

My uncle in nagpur India got scammed by haryana scammer by 60k rs nearly 7k usd he complained to police they got their location but did nothing 😢

Just today i got a Booking mail that my reservation will be chanceld if i do not foolow the link and verify my creditcard again. luckily i had you in mind and did not click the link, instead asked the hotel. They told me its scam.

It sad how many people fall for these things and I appreciate the work this channel does. I do question how dangerous is it for some of the scammers that get shut down. Im sure some may have been killed over call centers being exposed,those high level bosses dont like any disruption of money flow or spotlight and would dispose of any loose ends that lead to it.
I think all stores who sell gift cards put a notice advising their customers to buy gift cards only for gifts and no business at all.
