Odd to hear I assume American scammers doing such nasty stuff, wonder if their number should be traced back to them, get arrested and pics put up on tv…..now r that would be wonderful.
I know I really wanted to do that. Unfortunately they use a voice over IP phone number to conceal their actual phone number and makes it look like they’re calling you from a local number. Cowards.
This is a credit card phishing scam. The voice on the other end is actually a soundboard bot. The phone number they’re calling from is also a VOIP burner number.
I don't see it. The name they used is an actual police PAC, and they seem very professional. I believe that they are a fundraising telemarketer firm hired by the police PAC. I found their web site and reviews of their organization, and it all checks out. As a PAC, though, they are not a charity and do not donate money to any police organizations or politicians. All they do is try to build awareness of the difficulties police face with the hope that people will support measures and politicians that believe in strong police funding.
@@BigBillysScamBait-k8c I don't trust ANY call that uses AI -- you don't know who is behind that fake voice. Sometimes it's hard to tell it's a soundboard, they're getting so sophisticated these days.

Police and their supporters do not do phone soliciting. How many videos do you need to see on here to know that?

That sounded like a legit charity call to me. What makes you think it wasn't real?

@ yeah. The scammers are just exploiting it. I’m sure it’s a very effective scam operation. I’m just happy I could waste some of their time.
@@BigBillysScamBait-k8cWell, I agree with you there. I don't like people calling me up asking for money.
