It's not just for our enjoyment. These guys work with law enforcement to help catch them where possible, and work hard to disrupt the scammers to at least slow them down.

You folks seem to be enjoying your work entirely too much - but I hope you keep up the great work. FYI: I sent a the website to my parents (80's) who have actually been called by someone trying to pull this on them. Because of listening to your broadcast, they realized it was not quite on the up-and-up. So you have helped one additional couple (my parents) with just your broadcasts. They in turn have sent it on to friends of theirs at church and even further. Keep up the great work. One of my favorite parts of scambaiting is when the scammer pretends to be freaking out over the overpayment, then the scambaiter later makes the scammer express genuine freaking out when the scam doesn’t go as planned 😂
I’m 75 and receive 20 to 30 spam calls a day and at least 1 to 2 Geek, Norton, Pay Pal, Amazon etc texts or emails. I tell them all contact I get is forwarded to Scammer Payback. If they get mad I ask if their families know they cheat grandmas for a living. They usually don’t say anything more and gang up or start yelling at me. My other vintage lady friends gave the same problem. It’s crazy. Thank you for all your payback.😃👍

My response was, "Well, right now, my parents are proud of me for what I'm doing in life. That pride might drop if I tried to do that to my dad. Then again, they'd still be prouder than your parents would be of you if they found out scamming elderly people is what you do for a living." The caller hung up without responding. 😂 (I was pretending to be in my 80s; in actual fact, I'm 26.)
Stop picking up the phone the more you do the more calls you get. When you stop answering all the call cease but the more you pick up I don't know they just put your number out there and it just literally goes to every scammer

I’ve lost my Steam account worth over $400 from a scammer a few weeks ago, and this truly shows how heartless these types of individuals can possibly be. Keep doing what you’re doing Mr. P. You truly are a hero.
Allow me to elaborate further: It was one of those “hey-i-accidentally-reported-your-account-for-suspicious-activity-so-you-gotta-bring-it-up-to-this-other-guy” kind of scam. It all seemed legitimate especially when this “other guy” who I was told was supposed to be a steam support agent showed me his “certificate” and even a GIF/Live footage of him showing his administrative options where he would scroll down on my account and show the following: “Ban account”, “Delete account”, etc. It wasn’t till long that I figured it was all through some sort of platform to make it look like he had those privileges. So for my Steam users here, despite being told that this is even one of the oldest scamming methods ever used in the history books: If anyone tells you that they “accidentally” reported your account, either block them or just troll with them, as long as you’re careful
I work at a bank and I can tell you that the answer to someone asking for $31,000 in cash is going to be "No". That much has to be ordered as well as paperwork and reporting that we have to do. And we will call the other local branches and let them know that someone is trying to withdraw that much and might come to their branch as well. We will generally do everything we can to talk someone out of a large cash withdrawal like that if it seems like they're being scammed.
Yeah, sure. But we are talking about online transactions like western union and PayPal. It's not like the Scammer stands in front of you in your bank. Whole other story

I told them to learn to speak proper English before they try scamming people. Dude said “F you!” I said: I just F’d your mother last night. Then he hung up on me. Such a rude young man. 😏

Scammer just got my mom. Was talking to her for a while. Weeks maybe more. Sent her 26k check that turned out counterfeit. Then asked for cell phone services and 3 or 4 iPhone 15s. Said he was an engineer and they went to school together. ID picture he sent was a real person but not him. The smammer knew everything about the person in the ID. Even had pictures of his dead fathers grave in our home town. My mom is sad. I warned her a week ago. I overheard her talking about gift cards and she was all secretive when someone was around. Made me think back to these videos. Smammer got her bank account numbers. Luckily teachers retirement is protected.

More great work as always. In times past, when talking with these tools I kept calling them by the name 'skippy...and they'd say their name was (fill in a name) and I'd say 'no matter' and go back with skippy'...it worked pretty good on a few of them.

I had a scammer one time I do believe it was Amazon I called the number because I was curious about the lies they were going to tell it was about a 1500 iPhone I knew I didn't order it they asked me that I make the transaction it has something to do with Bitcoin they asked me that I want to return it and I said no I'm going to keep it and he asked me what am I going to do with all that Bitcoin I said I don't know he called me stupid and hung up

There is not a single aspect of this channel that isn't fucking perfect. I love everything about you guys. The word hero get's thrown around a bit to easily in the english speaking world but you guys are actual heroes who are actually making the world a better place! Fucking amazing!
My life has been a stream of bad things one after another….this channel literally keeps me going. It is the first time I have been able to laugh since I got diagnosed with cancer. Thank you for making me smile and laugh so hard my ribs hurt and I can’t stop crying.

In times past, when talking with these tools I kept calling them by the name 'skippy...and they'd say their name was (fill in a name) and I'd say 'no matter' and go back with skippy'...it worked pretty good on a few of them.

if you KNOW they're a scammer then do it. i once messed with an "amazon" scammer by telling them that a 1500 transaction was a TV i was buying and wanted to know when it would be delivered

I had a scammer one time I do believe it was Amazon I called the number because I was curious about the lies they were going to tell it was about a 1500 iPhone I knew I didn't order it they asked me that I make the transaction it has something to do with Bitcoin they asked me that I want to return it and I said no I'm going to keep it and he asked me what am I going to do with all that Bitcoin I said I don't know he called me stupid and hung up

I just got a email today by one of these scammers saying I was billed $600 from Norton antivirus. Used a gmail account to email me lol.
