Thank you very much fot this clear explanation of how to intergrate Truckbook in to my Discord. it was done within a few minutes and it works perfectly.
To be frankly honest, I don't know. I'm not using Trucksbook anymore. It's already for years that I switched to Trucky. I'm even an ambassador for it so, it wouldbe weird to use something else instead. There's also so much more to do with Trucky. If you're interested, here's a link: beam.eyeware.tech/?via=arrowsrealm
Basic question here - do I have to fiddle with permission on those channels now? I want the Trucksbook webhook to be able to write there, me write/edit/delete, etc. but regular members read only.
To my knowledge, it is all or nothing. And normally you have a VTC with members to have that group feeling. So, everything related to that group feeling is a plus. Having a separate channel on your Discord in which all trips of all your members and yourself are gathered is boosting that group's feeling. At least, that is how I think of it. I'm sure you have a legitimate reason why you would want to have only your trips in that channel. 😉
@@ArrowsRealm -sorry, I was just thinking of permissions, as in who can edit on that Discord channel. Webhook somehow gets access, can your members go into that channel and add/delete info? Am I overthinking this??
@@Ravensview I'm sorry. I misunderstood you completely, aparently. Yes, it is possible to disable that channel to be edited by your Discord members. You can make it a read-only channel in the channel options. As an admin you always have access to that channel.
@@ArrowsRealm Thanks - not an issue now but I was thinking ahead. I guess webhook won't care about permissions and will write just fine Still learning about Discord.
@@Ravensview Since the webhook is really channel-specific, it already has the permission to write in that channel. All other things can be managed with the normal Discord channel permissions. 😉
@@aripekkh That is strange. It should work. Are you sure you did everything else correct? Other peoples I know did it like this as well and there weren't any issues.
Thank you , nice Video.

Do you have to be the owner of the VTS? I went to settings and don't see the Discord settings.
Yes, you have to be the owner of the VTC.
Is it possible to make a macro which could do webhooks for every day on a different channel named by a date?
No idea.
No me salen las integraciones
