The Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary's mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.
To raise awareness, Kevin has now set up his TH-cam Channel 'LionWhispererTV'. The channel is all about raising awareness about not only the declining numbers of lions, but also how this rapid decrease is happening. By watching these videos, you are directly contributing to our scheme of land acquisition.
Kevin captures the majority of his footage on GoPro cameras, allowing the viewer to get as close as possible to the lions.
By doing this, Kevin hopes to give people an insight into the lives of these beautiful creatures and to let them see just what they can do to help. You can nearly touch them.

I get surprised at the fact that sometimes wild animals like tigers and lion get so snuggly and cuddly, it's so weird
Grow up boy! For me its normal theatre for viewers, that animals are fully fed by that personner so they like them and have no reason to atack, they also live safe there without stress and with a lot of having fun. I only think who sponsors it and for what, I guess its a tons of meat every day

@@becarefulwhatyoufish4764 because he think that wild animals are just bad and evil, and that good peoples just made them good, but its all posible if you start to take care of lion/leopard/hyena when he is young and weak, from then he remember you as a stronger and as an ally but more important thing is that tons of meat they just giving them every single day so they dont need to hunt, kill, they dont fight, dont increase agression, thats all things every human should understand but normal person has no money and time to do it in real, and no reason to do that too. I still dont know why they imprison them there and who gives so much money for that unprofitable investment, thats the real question an adult should say, everything else is clear and simple as fcuck
@@Skorpion1991 I think you're assuming alot, he was saying that. He was probably just confused to the fact that some animals could be semi domestic in situations. If you didnt know something you would probably react the same way. But the whole, okay buddy thing isnt very called for and kinda rude. I know you probably dont care. But maybe this could help you realize other people have feelings and what you say has an impact. This isnt supposed to sound condescending in any way. I hope you have a good day

Its so amazing how this guy is getting thrown around like a sack of beans by these wild animals of pure mass and teeth and hes just chuckling
It's a nervous laughter.....he can't do or say anything which may startle or cause any level of fear in the animal. His laughter is designed to cover his pain from the bites....if he expresses pain, it will only send a signal to the animal that he's vulnerable.....therefore, causing the animal to become instinctively aggressive.

@@bdub8459 He is probably not human. Its highly likely, that he is an alien that can control the behavior of animals by sending specific signals into theire brains.

he is hella scared but he uses fak laughter to fake that cause if he shows them that he is scared , they'll get agressive and dominant by nature. he knows that he can do nothing so he has to endure the pain from the bites. same with depression, you cant always see it.

I read an article by a clothing company he represents. He's into extreme sports and is always doing something. I remember them saying the went hiking with some friends to the top of some mountain pass and it snowed the the temp. dropped. I guess the original idea was they shelter in a cave that nite and couldn't so they slept outside in 20 degrees below 0 farenheit. This is what he does for fun.Or races motocycles, flies etc, etc. Anything fast and potentially dangerous. And then he plays with lions for a living. His wife must be going grey already.

I never thought I live to see this kind of love and acceptance. Thank God I can see now that we all can get along in this world though it may be hundreds of years from now until humans learn what these animals that live in the wild and Kevin already found out.

My great niece just did a presentation to her class on the sanctuary. She had to speak for 4 minutes about the person she most admires. She used a collage of all of the sanctuaries animals as her visual prop. She wore her Sup mane tee shirt that we ordered from Kevin and she also received an A. Proud of her and proud of you. The youth are our future in wildlife conservation. Congrats!!💕💕

you can use your volunteer work as a resume or work experience

get rich or create a go fund me or find sponsors for your sanctuary

buy/rescue 2-3 lion cubs(the younger the better) from illegal sanctuary (or are known for canned hunting)
or in any sources
better to work few at start and they must not be lone lion since they are social animals

Hes laughing but those are likely very painful bites hes enduring. The laughing likely keeps them calm so they dont escalate..
The hyenas have put him in the hospital but because he has to keep his place in the clan he has to endure alot of punishment to do it. He says it hurts. He does it because that's the way they treat each other that way and he does things from the animals point of view, not his. The lions play rough too, but not enough for him to go to the hospital.
@Tuho No. Hyenas are NOT dogs. They have a more powerful bite force than lions and tigers.

@Tuho you do know that a play bite between two hyenas wont do any damage but to a human who doesnt have rough strong skin like a hyena a "play bite" becomes very dangerous
Their bites definitely hurt even when playing around, their bite force is half tonne per square inch

The fact that we can learn how to live with these "dangerous" animals in peace is fascinating.
they ARE very dangerous. But yeah, they're also cute ;)
Yes, if they grow up with you and share a bond, almost all animals can live with us at peace. But please remember he's a trained professional who reads their "gestures", movements and behavior like a book, and knows when it's safe to be with them and when not. If he'd be near the hyenas despite one being pregnant, or generally in an alerted state, he'd also be a victim of the world's strongest jaw

@@whiterunguard.gatepost clan leader Maxi and a few un named males. There were a few that didn't make it. One was killed by a lion and another was killed by poachers who trapped him in wire. A third one was compromised by his collar and at the end Maxi and two young males seemed to be flourishing in the wild. Heartbreaking but beautiful video. Kevin and his team did an amazing job re wilding them.

This guy has the best job in the world! Just getting to go out there and play with overgrown kitties everyday has to be a very rewarding experience. Just wonderful to see how they all act like our housecats- head butts, playing, jumping on you just because they can...just so cool! ❤😸💕 Even the hyenas act like pups...so funny! You can see these same traits in our domesticated pets...and those black leopards...OMG...absolutely beautiful! Even the "bloopers" show how wonderful all these amazing animals truly are!
