I'm a teenager who lives in Germany as an immigrant. My environment isn't necessarily religious and I myself have gotten very lazy and lost much of my care for religious practices. I want to fix that poroblem this Lent, so I'd like to ask for your prayer. Please, pray to God so I may pray to Him as well, pray to Him so I may love Him, pray to Him so I may confess my sins fully, pray to Him so I may long for Him again as the prodigal son longed for his own father.
Amen brother, I will pray for you and include you in my book of petitions so whenever I pray the rosary I’m praying for you ! 🕊️❤️🔥✝️ God bless you and please pray for me as well 🙏🏼
you're going in the wrong direction Rich. The roman catholic system is pagan, and has changed very little from the roman empire that conquered lands and assimilated all those pagan beliefs. There is no scriptural basis for a pope, a doctrine of Mary being sinless, indulgences, purgatory, praying the rosary, praying to and for the dead, priests being single, papal infallibility etc.......all these teachings are heresy, and you're moving away from God if you embrace all that nonsense that can be shown to be wrong from the bible.
@@misspeach3755 do you realise when Jesus taught about prayer, He warned against using "vain repetitions" ? That is exactly what the rosary is. Do you honestly think that God is interested in hearing the same repetition over and over and over again ? If someone talked to you that way, how would you respond ? throw your rosarey in the bin and talk to God the way you would talk to anyone else, but with reverance. Mary is nothing to do with salvation either. She was not sinless and that can be proved in the bible very easily.
I was going through an extremely rough situation which brought me closer to Jesus. I went to Mass as much as I could. I did confession, stations of the cross . attended Holy week and Divine Mercy Sunday. I kept to my Lenten fasts and I came out the other end almost healed from my despair. @@hereandnow2738

Sabbath is no longer for us to keep, otherwise we would ruin the 6th commandments, which says: DO NOT KILL! Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: it is the sabbath or the 6th commandment. Cant have both. Souls, know and understand the bible as we all should: 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The 2 most important commandments for us to keep TODAY are: Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:39 “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” but you , the listeners of all these “religious lessons” all blind, devil gives out himself through the hand signs of masonry. What do you consider an amount or practice that would not equal long term starvation, but still fasting? I don't have much more weight to lose before taking it too far, suggestion(s) please?
A one day fast with prayer is great for the mind, body, and spirit. A three day fast with prayer even better. Majority of people can’t make it past a three day fast without a lot of practice. You will not starve, even if you’re already thin. Your metabolism simply slows down.. work your way up from 8 hour to 16 hour to 24 hour.. just pray and stay busy you’ll stop thinking about it. God Bless!!!
I'd ask a doctor as well as these good people. About twenty years ago, I remember one lady talking about how her children were not supposed to eat gluten - so I suspect they were celiacs. Her priest - "a very holy priest" she said -- told her it would be okay for them to have gluten at communion. Another lady listening in said something like, "You should be consulting a doctor about this instead of a 'holy priest.'"
Take an hour out of 'the world' each day during Lent and spend it in Adoration... Watch your life get filled with the Love of Christ through Our Fathers Holy Spirit... Pray for the Holy souls in Purgatory.
I have an adoration hour on Fridays at 2 pm. Started doing that last year's lent. Only missed several Fridays when I had foot surgery and limited mobility last fall.
Serious question. Would it be okay to do needlework at adoration? In years gone by, at the family home, Dad would read the Bible, boys would whittle wood, girls and mom/grandma would do needle work. "Idle hands are the devil's workshop"

This lent Im fasting from caffeine and sugar. I started on monday just gone as I felt this was gonna be a hard one and wanted to get any slip ups out of the way before lent officially began.
I beg someone to pray for me. I've been struggling with a serious depression, plus lots of physical diseases, and I'll also be undergoing a surgery next month. The only moment I feel really happy and comforted by God is at the Holy Mass after receiving the Eucharist. I'm sure I'll overcome all this, but I'd appreciate so much anyone else's prayer and intercession for me. ❤ Thanks a lot!
My grim cancer led me to lean on the heart of the Lord. It was a great teaching. I pray the same for you. Hope, faith, offering sufferings. Stay at the foot of the cross when things get tough.
HAIL MARY FULL OF GRACE, THE LORD IS WITH THEE BLESSED AT THOU AMONGST WOMEN AND BLESSED IS THE FRUIT OF THY WOMB JESUS, HOLY MARY MOTHER OF GOD, PRAY FOR US SINNERS NOW AND THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH. AMEN
We will pray for you, but also please pray for us. Pray the rosary. St Louis De Montfort stated that there is no other prayer more powerful than the rosary. Also go to daily mass as often as possible to receive holy communion (Eucharist), but remember to receive the Eucharist in the mouth not in the hand. Before Vatican II, only the priest could touch the holy Eucharist with his hands because his hands were consecrated when he was ordained to the priesthood.
You can overcome it! Try and recognize the causes of your depression and make and effort to avoid those things. Sometimes our own living circumstances can lead to depression, even I was depressed until I got married and moved out of my parents’ house. Having my own space helped greatly alleviate my depression. So if these kinds of things are causing depression, have hope that this overwhelming feeling will go away at some point. Ask God frequently for help and do not be afraid to do so! Remember that all the saints persevered through their whole life and none of them committed suicide. Strive to make your life a reason for people around you to consider you a saint and possibly be even canonized by the Church. God bless you abundantly 😁😁😁😁😁😁 YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!! 😄😄😄
Good idea. I'm probably only using my cell phone for a timer at my chiropractor x2 a month and then two TH-cam live streams one Thursday and one Sunday. I'll have to text some family members to call my landline if they really need to get ahold of me. I'm also going to see if I can go to bed earlier like by 9:30 every night.
I am sure that it is providential that I came across this video tonight. The Church is very wise in her teachings. Fasting is a way for the body to heal, and it makes our minds sharper, and our senses more attuned to the gifts that come from God, such as food, when we do eat. We instinctively say a prayer of thanksgiving for all the good things He gives us. Thanksgiving in turn intensifies love, praise and adoration of God, which are all graces that He is send us. All is gift, all from our loving God! A holy Lent to one and all! 🙏
Valentines Day lands on Ash Wednesday this year. Let's show our love to God and to the Blessed Virgin Mary by fasting from our sinful ways and making good penance and reparations for the sins we had all committed against his Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary!!!
Lent isn't just fasting, it's self-examination, self-discipline, and a time of sacrifice. The pleasures of the daily world, giving way to a leaner, meaner way in order to better appreciate that which we have been given, and better ourselves.
I’m assume by “no drink” he means no libations for 40 days, not no water. Because dehydration can occur after only three days, much sooner in a hot climate.
I am mostly alone physically and struggle much with life issues, but I’ll keep trying to fast and pray more this Lent. One of my challenges is to be disciplined and to know HOW TO DO a fast that will work best for me. I am in my late 70’s with a few health problems. Any insight is greatly appreciated appreciated.😊❤😊❤😊❤
You can stick to 3 meals and no eating in between. Go all night after dinner from 8 pm to 9 am u til you eat breakfast. That 13 hours break is a great reset for your body and will heal your body. If you can get up to 17 hours, you will reset your cellular metabolism. Health will improve drastically. That might be eat your last meal at 5pm or 6 pm and then don’t eat until 9 or 10 am breakfast. Make sure you drink good water. And get some salt.
Also a good way to fast in your 70's is to fast from any prepackaged or convience foods. Eat only one ingredient foods. As an example , home prepared chicken, not breaded chicken tenders. You can use seasonings, as long as they are simple ingredients. Like salt, pepper, garlic , onion, oregano, sage. Avoid seasoning like old bay or Lawry's season salt. Fresh green beans, instead of canned or frozen green beans. Home baked potato instead of french fries. Real butter instead of butter substitute. Read labels, if it has an ingredient list, avoid it. Example Ingredients: salt, silicone dioxide = avoid Ingredients: salt = good Ingredients: cream, milk = good Ingredients: cream, guar gum, carrageenan, high oleic oil, flavoring = avoid God bless you!
Thank you, Fathers, for speaking clearly and with the love of God, about the true meaning of fasting! Excellent! This gives us so much hope! We loved it when Fr. Norbert said, "It's the GREAT FAST in preparation for the GREAT FEAST!" Also, when he said that we should put our trust in God with our fasting. Yes! Little children need to be taught to fast as well. This is totally lost in our culture. Children are more resilient than people think.
I have started the fasting of the old rite a few years ago every Friday (for the whole year) No meat and fasting until the evening if I can but I will do more this year. Thank you for this much needed message God bless you guys 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🕊️✝️
Oh Lord! Please help me to fast this season so that I attend the stations of cross without feeling dizzy. I pray to secure a job and let my faith be stronger. Edit: My prayer got answered. I got the job as an assistant manager in a bank. Through Jesus everything is possibly. Hallelujah!!
Yes, we should fast, but we might also remember that even some of the greatest saints had different views on how severe that should be. It might be surprising to some that in the monastic order of the Visitation, begun by no other than St. Francis de Sales and St. Jane de Chantal, any kind of extraordinary fasting is actually discouraged. Yes, the nuns are actually discouraged from going beyond whatever the current rules of fast in the Church are, which in Lent are of course, two days of fast with two smaller meals permissible, and abstinence on Fridays and of course, Ash Wednesday. Their "holy father" - St. Francis de Sales - wanted the nuns' focus on holiness be through prayer and charity, rather than through stringent sacrificial practices. So I think we would do well to remember different orders and different saints have different ways of thinking about this. Finally, I am surprised that there almost seems to be note of nostalgia about the earlier practice of tiny children being denied nutritious food. That was, of course, back when it was very common for children to die before age five, and while we can't say with certainty that denying wholesome foods to children in a key developmental stage was a factor, we don't know for sure. It certainly couldn't have helped.
Most definitely. I fasted for Lent for the first time a couple years ago and the spiritual fulfilment I found was astounding. I did one meal a day in the evening. It was difficult at first but about halfway it became a great experience. Not to mention the health benefits there are to fasting if you do it properly. My gut issues improved significantly since I also decided to cut out unhealthy foods along with my fast.
As an Orthodox Christian fasting is a big part and i always wondered why a lot of Catholics are ignoring that God giving task that is very rewarding. Glad to see the resurgence of that in recent years among our Catholic brothers and sisters. God bless! ☦️✝️

I respect your opinion, but please keep in mind that the Holy Catholic Church has always thought of praying, pennance, and fasting. According to the church fathers, saints, and mystics, very few will be saved. There are many forms of fasting. Fasting is a form of seeking salvation with fear and trembling. God Bless you!
A word of CAUTION: this video is very dangerous as it is promoting EXTREME FASTING even for CHILDREN & the ELDERLY. Please seek medical advice in reference to this video. May you be blessed abundantly.
ISAIAH 58:1-9: “Is this the manner of fasting I wish, of keeping a day of penance: that a man bow his head like a reed, and lie in sackcloth and ashes? Do you call this a fast, a day acceptable to the Lord? This, rather, is the fasting that I wish: releasing those bound unjustly, untying the thongs of the yoke; setting free the oppressed, breaking every yoke; sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own. Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your own wound shall quickly be healed. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am! - if you remove from your midst oppression, false accusation and malicious speech.”
It's a great paragraph, but you're taking it out of context I'm afraid... It's meant to be a reminder for people who have innocently sinned and are going through a period of great oppression and abuse - it's trying to wake them up and find where their God Truly is!! It's NOT meant to say that fasting and Penance are bad, quite the opposite, because they are doing them, but with oppression and God doesn't like it - God wants them to free themselves, to be well and in Peace and Freedom, which means for them to embrace their Cross and do Penance in the right way!!!!
As with all religious practices, fasting must serve the greater goal of uniting ourselves with God through loving our neighbor. Jesus said that all will know his disciples by the way they love one another. He didn’t say that his followers would be known by the severity and frequency of their fasting and other penances. @@uneqejam
@jackb9095 If you say that, first, you don't know what oppression is, examples from Saints: St.Patrick with his employer, that's "love of neighbour" in that case; but secondly and what's more important, you ARE going to be judged by the amount of your Penances all right, because they purify one in relation to God, but they are also a sign that you had pity on the Passion of God - Penances are done to regret your sins in relation to God, it's a deed you must perform to show respect and love towards God - before love of neighbour, comes love of God!!!! NEVER FORGET THIS!!!! Otherwise, it's 666!!! ✝️ ✝️ *OUR LADY OF PONTMAIN, HAVE MERCY ON US!!!* ✝️ ✝️
ST. POPE JOHN PAUL: “Jesus is the prophet of love... Jesus came above all to teach us love. It constitutes the content of the greatest commandment he left to us. True love of one’s neighbor is, at the same time, love of God. Some people may be astonished by this. It certainly IS astonishing!” ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: Love of God and love of neighbor are inseparably united. When the Lord Jesus presents to us, his listeners, the vision of the Last Judgment, he says: “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink.” Those who listen to these words are surprised, since we hear them ask: “Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you?” And the answer; “I tell you, solemnly, insofar as you did this for one of the least of these brothers, you did it for me” (Matt. 37-40). Love Jesus especially in those who are suffering in any way: physically, morally, spiritually. Look up the book "The Definitive Guide to Catholic Fasting and Abstinence" which is the complete and untold history of fasting. It should be in every Catholic library, especially for Lent.
ST. BASIL THE GREAT: “Take heed that you do not make fasting to consist only in abstinence from food. True fasting is to refrain from vice. Shred to pieces all your unjust contracts. Pardon your neighbors. Forgive them their trespasses.” ST. FRANCIS DE SALES: “Everyone paints devotion according to his own passions and fancies. A man given to fasting thinks himself very devout if he fasts, although his heart may be filled with hatred. A man doesn’t dare wet his tongue with wine or even water, yet he won’t hesitate to drink deeply of his neighbor’s blood by slander, vilification and gossip. Another man thinks himself devout because he daily recites a vast number of prayers, but after saying them he utters the most disagreeable, arrogant and harmful words at home and among his neighbors.”
Amen, pray for our country, priests, more reverence of Jesus everywhere, that Bible reading becomes popular everywhere and please pray for leadership in the Vatican.

Most Christians fast for Lent. Mother Church is not the only one. Fast from hatred, judgement, hypocrisy. Learn to love others even when you can't stand them.
There's an age limit for fasting. At age 79 and taking numerous medications I won't be overdoing fasting. There are other ways to be more religious during Lent.
That sounds sensible. There is no obligation to fast beyond age 59, but probably best to consult a priest to know what is best given your circumstances. God bless you.
@@kyrieeleison1243 Not an excuse, it's Catholic doctrine. After a certain age and if one has certain physical conditions (diabetes, for instance), one is not obligated to fast. That doesn't mean one shouldn't find other ways to observe Lent. The Church does not require us to put our lives in danger for Lent, that's not its point.
@@Melanie220 Firstly, it's not Catholic doctrine, it's current obligation under Canon Law. Second, you seem to have missed the point of the video which is calling for generosity rather than minimum observance and looking for loopholes. Everyone can fast, no matter age or health status. You simply do it in proportion to your ability under those conditions. Generously.
@@kyrieeleison1243 Did you actually read my entire comment, or were you just too intent on jumping all over me for my slight misstep in calling it doctrine rather than law? Here, I'll help you: "That doesn't mean one shouldn't find other ways to observe Lent." Having a condition that makes it dangerous or even just ill-advised to fast is not an excuse. It's a fact of life that one with the condition or situation just needs to work with, and the Church has made allowance for that. Have a blessed evening.
I really see how people talk about the greatness of fasting, but I have a history of an eating disorder and I do not trust myself to take such a risk. I have tried and I feel so guilty saying it’s because it feels like such a cop out, but I think it’s a slippery slope. Any advice on this?
I cannot give you advice but I think you raise a really important point that was not considered in the video. You are not required to put yourself in danger. Perhaps doing something other than fasting for Lent might work better for you? I wish you all the very best.
Thank you for this. But to say "I don't know of anyone who has ruined their health by fasting too much" is to forget St.Catherine of Siena, who starved herself through rigorous fasting . Those who struggle with serious eating disorders could accept such statements as permission or justification for indulging their disorder. Of course that is not the intent of this encouragement and I appreciate the remarks in the spirit that they are given.
I don’t think the Church has become lax in it's approach to fasting. It's lax in helping people become physically and mentally strong enough TO fast. People have become so physically damaged by modern life that fasting is dangerous...and it shouldn't be. I think if the Church helped people to begin to fortify themselves well before fasting, it would become a more useful sacrifice and more people could participate.
@@kyrieeleison1243 fair enough. So, what else to you propose? I gave part of the solution. If you want someone to reach a higher standard, you need to give them specific skills to develop the ability to reach them. "Suck it up and try harder. Pray more." is not sufficient. If it were, Christians couldn't use medicine. So, what specific skills do you propose beyond, "Just pray about it."?

I'm a teenager who lives in Germany as an immigrant. My environment isn't necessarily religious and I myself have gotten very lazy and lost much of my care for religious practices. I want to fix that poroblem this Lent, so I'd like to ask for your prayer. Please pray for me this lent season. I have been a protestant all my life but I am seriously looking into the Catholic Church.
The journey home. It's an awesome ride! Love and prayers to you.
Me too! I got a rosary last week and I love it. :)
you're going in the wrong direction Rich.
@@joans7538 nothing to do with "home". The vatican is a pagan system, and it's heresies can be shown to be wrong from the bible.

I’m a lifelong Catholic from northeast Arkansas. I pray for all of my brothers and sisters in Christ to have a wonderful and blessed Lenten season.
Sabbath is no longer for us to keep, otherwise we would ruin the 6th commandments, which says: DO NOT KILL!
Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
it is the sabbath or the 6th commandment. Cant have both.
Souls, know and understand the bible as we all should:
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
The 2 most important commandments for us to keep TODAY are:
Matthew 22:37
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:39
“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

You are still deceived by lucifer and his angelic look and having lack of knowledge about the truth.

Wonderful story brother. I hope to do the same thing for myself this lent. Need to kick my vices.
That’s amazing.
Remember, fasting is not starving. We do not practice starvation. Starvation leads to death. Fasting leads to eternal life.
Salvation through Christ gives us eternal life. See John 3:16.
If you have questions like these, I recommend privately and in person talking to your pastor.@@marcsmith9108

@carol, will keep you in my prayers. You are greatly loved!!!
Strive to make your life a reason for people around you to consider you a saint and possibly be even canonized by the Church. God bless you abundantly 😁😁😁😁😁😁 YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!! 😄😄😄

The Norbertines of St. Michael’s Abbey taught me (Archangel Institute). Future Norbertine right here!
Thank to both of you. Your joyful explanation is inspiring.

Lk@@terribrun9207
Example Ingredients: salt, silicone dioxide = avoid
Ingredients: salt = good
Ingredients: cream, milk = good
Ingredients: cream, guar gum, carrageenan, high oleic oil, flavoring = avoid
God bless you!
Thank you, Fathers, for speaking clearly and with the love of God, about the true meaning of fasting! Excellent! This gives us so much hope! We loved it when Fr. Blessed Mother, pls lead me n my family members this lent to grow in self denial n holiness, wisdom.
All about rules to live by to be saved. No power behind it!

ISAIAH 58:1-9: “Is this the manner of fasting I wish, of keeping a day of penance: that a man
bow his head like a reed, and lie in sackcloth and ashes? Do you call this a fast, a day acceptable to the Lord?
This, rather, is the fasting that I wish: releasing those bound unjustly, untying the thongs of the yoke; setting
free the oppressed, breaking every yoke; sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the
homeless; clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own. Then your light
shall break forth like the dawn, and your own wound shall quickly be healed. Then you shall call, and the Lord
will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am! - if you remove from your midst oppression, false
accusation and malicious speech.”
It certainly IS astonishing!”
ST.
Make a resolution to do all you can to love your neighbors, discovering Christ’s face in them.

Look up the book "The Definitive Guide to Catholic Fasting and Abstinence" which is the complete and untold history of fasting. It should be in every Catholic library, especially for Lent.
I am being baptized during Easter Vigil and i am thinking about fasting during Lent. Im scared though! Ive never done anything like that before
I ask this lent for my son and his father’ conversation ,pleas pray for them 😢
ST. BASIL THE GREAT: “Take heed that you do not make fasting to consist only in abstinence from food. True fasting is to refrain from vice. Shred to pieces all your unjust contracts. Pardon your neighbors. Forgive them their trespasses.”
ST.
Salve Maria - thank you Blessed Mother for leading me into this Lenten season. I’m so excited to discover more of the Holy Spirit in my journey to Christ this Easter. ✨🙏✨❤️🔥🕊❤️🔥
You cant discover the Holy Spirit it is given by a infilling when one is Born Again as Jesus said you must to enter the Kingdom of God . Since you on a journey to Christ it means you are not saved only religious .
@@isrberlinerin4063Protestant trolls. You come from a church with no saints, no statues, no miracles, no Eucharist, no correct interpretation of scripture. And selling a new, man-made, unbliblical tradition.
Sorry, not interested
@@isrberlinerin4063Protestant trolls
@@isrberlinerin4063I used to believe that too, that it a “one and done” by being “born again”. Now I see that we must always look to Jesus to continue to be in a state of grace, which is ALL a gift from the Holy Spirit.
@@Richerja9 If you were truly Born Again you would know that Jesus Christ never said you must stay in a state of grace . What ever you used believe is not really clear and i wonder if you really know and understand what Born Again really means as Jesus said you to enter the Kingdom of God . The Gifts of the Holy Spirit is something completely different . The Holy Spirit leads us into all Truth , it seems catholics have another religious truth .
Thank you for this encouragement to go deeper. 🙏
I tried 1 meal a day plus 2 small meals before and struggled a lot. I don’t think I prayed enough through that or had the right attitude however. Ready to try again.
Remember not to fast on Sundays, its forbidden to fast on the Sabbath, when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. ❤
Beautiful. Thank you for the message and the quality of the content
This was just what I needed to get the season started. God bless you all and thank you Fathers!
Most Christians fast for Lent. Mother Church is not the only one. Fast from hatred, judgement, hypocrisy. Learn to love others even when you can't stand them.
AMEN
There's an age limit for fasting. At age 79 and taking numerous medications I won't be overdoing fasting. There are other ways to be more religious during Lent.
Excuses.
Choose one meal time to eat more than a piece of 🍞. You're not required to do bread and water only. Don't snack between meals.
I cannot give you advice but I think you raise a really important point that was not considered in the video. You are not required to put yourself in danger. Perhaps doing something other than fasting for Lent might work better for you? I wish you all the very best.
Fast means to sacrifice for spiritual good. not just not to eat. In your case I suppose your sacrifice would be to eat more ...
Fasting is so difficult for me. Praying that I can do it for the Lord this year.
You can do it with the help of Jesus, don’t go it alone. Ask your Guardian Angel for help. ❤
That's my weakness too.
I wonder how much spiritual growth occurs after fasting
The bar is so low, it literally couldn't get any lower. If that's not lax, I don't know what is.
@@kyrieeleison1243 so, do you believe simply raising the bar will solve the problem?
@@holeymcsockpuppet No, but I do think it is an important part of the solution.
Please pray for the conversion of my family!🙏💕
The polish name for Lent is "Wielki Post" which directly translates to "the Great Fast".
I feel like all of these rules/exceptions regarding fasting has done nothing but muddy the waters & confuse most Catholics.
This Lent, I'm just going to fast. Pure & simple. One meal a day & water only.
I don't know of anyone who can go 40 days without food or water.
No one's saying you have to go no food or water for 40 days maybe rewatch the video. That's not what they're saying
Since I moved to Switzerland, during lenten season I abstain from meat. Today, I confessed so that I will have clean heart. In prayer and fasting I maybe purified this lenten season.
Thank you Fathers for encouraging and admonishing us to take on a more generous and challenging Lent! Glory to Jesus Christ for giving us such shepherds as these.
Jesus Christ definitely did not give you these shepherds. He warned you about these shepherds, because they are false and do not preach the true gospel of Christ.
