But UVA is present always in natural daylight, it's in your room when you open the drapes, under the shade, clowdy days, even under the UV glass, which only filters out the UVB. This is why it's recommended to wear sunscreen at home or close the drapes from 10AM-4PM.

Like “look like me by using this product” but it doesn’t work that way. Learning to read and understand skin care ingredients was life changing for me and now I see so many of these celeb skin care things as fraudulent. catcat20 it’s known to be comedogenic ( I think that’s the term) which causes people to break out, especially if they have acne prone skin. It can depend what kind of coconut oil is used, so it’s not advised to use the one you use for cooking on your face and people prefer one specially designed for the skin. You are one of the lucky few that don’t break out from this oil since it’s known to be one of the worst for breakouts in terms of oils.

    When it comes to gua sha, yes it’s used on the body for scraping and bringing up the “sand”/redness and marks, but for the face it’s used very differently. Traditionally it’s used on your entire head and neck. On the face it’s used to loosen, activate and then soothe. This is to activate the acupressure points on the face and head, which correspond to the organs in our body. This helps with imbalances and tensions that are held in our face due to these imbalances. This tension creates a more aged appearance of the skin and the underlying muscle. To take it further, when you treat the muscle-tendon pathways along the body, with the scraping gua sha, this will help to further release the tension in the face.
    Right now it’s trending to use gua sha for very gentle lymphatic drainage, and this is great, but there are so many more benefits that are skipped. Also, it shouldn’t be painful and you should use oil to help the tool glide nicely without tugging at the skin in a damaging way.

    I have used many products from La Mer to Skinceuticsls....Kora Organics are beautiful products. I use the cleanser, moisturizers and oils... the eye oil is amazing... it helps the under eye stay moisturized, not oily and lasts past my 12 hour shift at the hospital. I was really surprised... she did a great job with these!

    Reiki Massage is basically an energy healing massage and gets kinda spiritual too (like offering light and everything) idk if it works but it’s relaxing to watch. I watch a lot of ASMR massages and sometimes they do that lol

    I have the sleeping mask, it’s a different texture from any product I have! It is like a jelly texture, and it is so strange but it does sort of sit on your face and gets almost a tacky feel and it doesn’t come off on your pillow it’s so strange but I do really love it and find my skin has been more bouncy in the morning 😊❤️

  • @jens1924
    @jens1924 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I love the sleeping mask. Definitely would not put oils on top of it. The texture is a bit stretchy and gloopy. :D It dries on the skin like a film, doesn't stain any sheets. Despite the odd texture it feels amazing on the skin. Been using Kora products for years now since they don't irritate my skin like most do.

    I can vouch for the fact that Miranda Kerr is FLAWLESS. I met her in person at a meet and greet once and I was stunned by her beauty. She looks like a perfect DOLL. Her skin glows. Her teeth are shiny. She has perfectly sleek hair with ZERO flyaways or frizz. I'm sure she's never had a bad hair day in her life. I will buy and use WHATEVER products she is selling if it can even give me an ounce of her beauty. 😭🤣 I will say I like most KORA products!

      BlueColeman no it doesn’t. But I don’t have an issue with fragrance. If you have an issue with that just patch test :) but I’ve never found this sleeping mask irritating

    • @tojin
      @tojin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly! I think her sleeping mask is amazing. Fragrance is included but I'd say not much as her other products, and the scent is lightly like coconut. It also contains Aspen Barks (natural BHA) and a bit of Salicylic acid as well, so it is good for oily skin too for clearing your congested pores. Maybe because of that there's some tingling when I applied it but didn't irritate my skin at all. High concentration of Kakadu Plum is also a plus, because it's the highest source of natural vitamin C. Another thing I like is that it really won't stick on to your pillow (she advertises it as 'pillow proof' and really it is). One of my favorite products by her line!

    There is something about that woman that makes me wanna be like her 🙈🥰 Btw, that cleanser is one of the best creamy cleansers I’ve ever used. I got it once as a gift because I’m a fan of creamy cleansers for my morning routine, used in the morning like I always do. Later I bought the pink one from Holifrog and honestly I wanted to go back to Miranda’s. Better consistency, fells more creamy and nourishing but at same time the skin also appears to be cleaner and more bouncy. Idk how’s that possible but it’s the best.

    I am going to be honest. I tried some of her products(not the AHA serum, I am intrigued by this one), I like the fact that they are organic products, but for me, they were just ok. My friend tried also and was not impressed. I have sensitive skin and none of the products I used made me break out so I guess that is a plus.

    In the past (2012-15) I have used Only Kora organics (just basic products back in the day) and my skin was SO glowy and dewy, like nothing i experienced with any other 'natural or not natural' products. Also helped clear my acne SO much i would even dot the moisturiser on my acne as treatment. BUT HONEY, i DEVELOPED SUPER DUPER SENSITIVE skin because I didnt know any better about essential oils/fragrance. Will only repurchase if those ingredients are not on the list anymore.

    Review Miranda's morning skincare routine! Its out there somewhere. There's a kora organics turmeric brightening and exfoliating SCRUB that she uses almost every day. It can be also left on the skin as a resurfacing mask for 20 minutes. Would like to know your opinion on THAT product!

    • @user-ht9oc7gw1f
      @user-ht9oc7gw1f 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s amazing I use it all the time. It has a strong peppermint scent because of the peppermint oil in it. I would not recommend for sensitive skin though since it has alcohol in it plus the exfoliating. It would be great if she reviewed it too.
