If the tent comes with an area for the chimney to stick out. How come there isn’t a place on the rain fly?

It's not a great design of the tent if you have to cut the rain fly as well for the chimney. Bad design or are you not supposed to use the rain fly with a stove?
Why usnt he afraid of wild animals , there must b plenty of them but no one camper shows it 😮
