@@Sully365 Yeah they were coming unscrewed at the base and I was hesitant to torque it down more than I already was. Just a drop of blue fixed them right up, tho.
So this is for undoing the throttle mods on radios used by guys running Tamiya trucks and tanks and excavators and things that are selling off all their gear?
man i need help.. why my esc wont reverse when using this controller.. i tested out the output voltage from esc and it showing negative value when reversing
So I have a right handed throttle (Japan hand) and I want to change the control mode, but have it be left handed throttle... so I can just move the traction arm over, and take off the spring? Then switch it to mode 2 or whatever in the menu that will set the throttle to left?
@@RCwithAdam1 unfortunately it did not work. I can't get this thing to change channel three to the left... the sticks mode says channel 3 is on the left but it still sees throttle on the right... what is going on? Any clue?
actually I figured it out. I found a copy of the manual online, it says in the manual to simply switch the gimbals... my god did I waste a lot of time lol. I moved those studs, the spring arm, the friction arm and spring twice lol. I am master of these gimbals now!
@@robwilson2324 good! I'm glad that helped! I took both my gimbals fully apart... twice! haha. I actually bought new ones because I think I did some damage to the pots when I pulled them out twice.
bro my left stick is the throttle and stays where you leave it and my right stick centers itself. I want to change the throttle to the right stick which auto centers itself. Can I do it on the settings without modding the remote itself?
I'm not sure, but I don't think so. Since Mode 2 means having the throttle on the left up/down stick, there shouldn't be any need to change that. But, maybe the throttle positions (zero, mid, max) would need to be adjusted in the settings. I don't have enough info right now to say for sure.
the engine grows louder ..and spins faster ..how do I bring it back to the ground? it is too strong, I accelerate but it does not come back, whei not ? eachine wizard x220s
is it possible to make the horizontal axes work the same?
Great stuff. As a flysky lover, I've found nobody really takes the time to mod it. Glad to see this
I put threadlocker and heatshrink on my arming and mode switches, does that count?
@@williwonti why? Does the switch move? I added a jst and a voltage regulator so i can use a lipo.
Chris, is 2s too much voltage for the i6x?

@@RCwithAdam1 yeah, 6-6.5 volts are all it is designed to really. I use a small regulator to get my 1s to 5v and it works great
that background looks great in your first shot man, it's those little lighting touches which can make all the difference :)
Lol thanks!
Wait, so if you buy a brand new one off of Amazon, will it come with auto-centering throttle?

@@glytch5 Bro!!!! Thank you!! I searched everywhere. The one place I didn't check was the fucking manual online. Thank you bro!!

Thanks so much for taking the time. Very much appreciated.😁

I don't think so. I think you'd have to physically swap the gimbal wire connections.
Anyone have the parts they removed? Spring, little hook thing and the bar going across? I need to make both sides self centering
Did this mod today Adam thanks for the guidance.
Great! Happy to help!
Dont you also have to change it to mode 2 in the settings of the transmitter?

Hi! You're saying that, even with the throttle all the way down, it still wants to fly away?
Great idea! Thanks!
wow it's really amazing
It is!
