1970 Dodge Challenger is a great car. I personally test drive the same model back when I was studying in the States. One of my class mates used to have one while I was studying at the University of Wyoming at laramie .It's really a nice car. I like it very much. Thanks LOU for sharing this great video .I enjoyed watching it. Please have a great day. Thanks .
Not a one year color. It was available through 72 but you had to order it. There were Plenty of Canadian mopars in that hue. Mostly A bodies but still you could get any color from Dodge through 74 I have been told using paint code 999. Great car! 👍🏻
What a stunner, beautiful!! I have another favorite! This pink rocks!! excellent sound! Love the Pink Panther in the seat, I got a kick out of it! Nice touch! Love the car, love the vid! Thank U!!
I'd love to see what a magenta reverse C stripe would look like on my Superbee that I'm getting ready to paint pink. Only black, white, red, & I think possibly green stripes were offered on the Bee's

LOU incidentally that's a long trip the owner did in order that he can come to the STATES and meet you. I personally will enjoy the trip very very much. Thanks LOU and please say hello to the owner. Take care.
Hi mrgrandprix fourspeed, Glad you enjoyed this one and thought the color was "just stunning!" :-) Hope you see many more cars on the Channel you'll enjoy. You're welcome, Lou
Thanks Lou. I was at the Indian Uprising and kept an eye out for you but did not see you there? We will meet up sometime as I would love for you to see the GP even if you don't make the video and we should go for a ride. Keep up the good work!
I was there Friday before the show started so I could start them, and meet the Owners as they drove in. I'll be at the Geneva Concourse coming up next Sunday. If you see me say hello, I'll be there early to see the cars come in. Glad you're enjoying the videos.
Oh ok, I had to work Friday and drove there on Saturday morning and left Sunday aftenoon. I am not planning on being at Geneva but hope we will meet up sometime.
Lou. I've never seen a challenger in that color before. It is so cool especially with the magenta stripe. I can only imagine if Fiat - Chrysler would bring this color back for the current day challenger (in limited edition of course) I'd bet they'd sell out - Or they can be offered for sale to Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Hi Pete Medina, This one year only color is so rare that when you see it you stop to stare, so if it stopped me, I thought it would be a good one to share with the Viewers. Glad you think this one is "gorgeous", Lou

Wow, great car ! Great example...... Interestingly, I did “passed/*not purchase “, a Triple / Green Challenger RT//SE 1970: Magnum,4 Speed, OVER loaded Options: instead buying 1970 **Coronet 383/Auto Ralley Red, etc…. Oddly, my younger Brother “” Still”” remembers Challenger sitting in Showrooms………..Also,interestingly, I wonder if the 70 Challenger would have been a better buy & rare ((*?? )): the 70 Coronet rusted out SEVERELY & beyond reasonable rescue by 1984, etc…….my Suspicions: the 70 Challenger Rt\ SE Triple Green (??) would have rusted out quicker: for instance the body- over roll on , the big tires was tremendous , etc. ……..

I'm betting it looked and (obviously) sounded better in person. My father's was a sort of glitter ruby red with the R/T decal but methinks it was custom work before he somehow acquired it because no resource I can find claims such a paint, only bright red. Who knows exactly because the added bonus of old school muscle cars was the crazy colors they were available in! Today's boring @$$ vehicles are black, white, and gray. Lot of imagination there, fellas. -_- Annnnyway, his was a 440 Magnum with quad exhaust and this one sounded just the same. Panther Pink is a good color on very few specific cars and this is one of them. :) His '71 Charger was mostly white with red and blue stripes because... 'Murica? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The 1970 Challengers are sharp looking cars! Definitely a one of a kind color!
You're right, you don't see this color hardly at all on a car.
That has got to be one of the coolest cars I have ever seen!
Hi Bob Silver, Glad you enjoyed this one and think it's cool :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, Lou

Hi MrGeeMan1980, I had never see one in this color combination either, so I was happy when we videoed and are able to share :-) Lou
The color did come back around 2010 for the New Challenger........ It was close to this color.
Super nice car I have one exactly the same Love it
Hi Vladimir, Happy to read you have a cool car too :-) Lou
That's a gorgeous car you found there Lou I'm not a big fan of pink though this one just pops I like it it's very clean great car overall.

An R/T with a factory 383? Something doesn't seem right. Anyway, I know it's an old video but a great car nonetheless. Thanks, Lou.
Happy to share this one with you. You're welcome, Chris.
Ken Katrenchuk, the previous owner still owes the restoration shop for work done on this car.

Was this a "Canadian export" car? Never even knew the magenta stripe was an option, a rare one indeed.
Hi Nick S, Not sure if a Canadian import. Happy to share this one with you, Lou
I would be curious to know if this was my fathers car original owner. Reg in bc. Dad sold it cause he had 3 kids
