GOD FUCKING DAMN, I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR AND I WAS ABOUT TO CRY SOME BIG FKN TEARS SINCE I COULDNT FIND ANY SITES FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS, i thought i wasted my money on a 90s car THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EXISTING MY LORD AND SAVIOR
I cant believe I actually found someone trying to do this! thank you for your time and effort, it is hugely appreciated and fills a large void in the e36 vert community
Good video new subscriber here question Unrelated to the panels I just got into the whole e36 world. would you be able to tell me where the amp is located for the audio system and also procedurally do you have to remove the head rest in order to remove the back seat thanks
Nice work. Personally I would sacrifice the old panel and trim it down to the softtop hood 'line'. And considering the colors now, I think you have to change you interieur color to gray or even all black. That in combination with the body color, will make the hole assembly more "pleasant" for the eyes. Now the combi is "disrupted", if you know what I mean...Keep up the great work Pawinn, and Dutch regards.
Ahhh yeah I see what you mean! Personally I’m a fan of the tan interior, but yeah I can see what you mean with the colors not syncing up now. I’ll consider the color change depending on how much time I have towards a project like that 👌😎
Yikes! Have you installed the panels on the Civic? I have these vinyl covers and they told me I have to remove the entire door panel. Thought I could just cover over the originals with 3M tape and tuck it in. OMG help!!
I have not made a panel video like this for the Civic. Don't worry tho, If I ever do similar trim mods there will be a video 👍. I'm sorry I can't help in the meantime!
MKAH seems like their sending sheets of plastic cut somewhat to the shape of what they're selling. Why don't you just go to a hardware store and cut it out yourself
Coming from someone who made their own interior panels, it really comes down to how much your time is worth to you. I spent the better part of a full day making my radio, center console, and glovebox deletes to mimic MKAH's. Some people don't get the same enjoyment out of making parts and would rather spend their time doing other stuff, and MKAH is a great option for them. Their parts come out looking a bit better in the end too, but they are pricey.
You've done a great service to the e36 vert community with this video.

Good video. Keep it up.
The fitment of these MKAH panels are a little disappointing for how much they charge

Nice Video how are the vibrations and noise while driving?
Great content.
Are you adding speakers on those rear panels to fill the dead space?
No I’m actually stripping them out, gonna replace it with a more central 12” speaker
And thank you!
Pawinning thats what I plan to do too. I am looking forward to your idea. Btw are you making it a showroom , drifter, track car, etc?
I would use abs plastic. It would be the same color and texture of the panel too!
Is there any vibration when you play music? Sound deadening mats suggested?

What happen with the 318ti build??
Still got it, just haven’t had time to touch it 😂
Thank you for sharing.
No problem 👍
should of shown us what it looks like with the door shut, i want to see that blend
Next mkah video I’ll give a nice shot👌
Pawinning sweet 😁
Fronts look ok, the rears :/ put the oem rears back in and vinyl dye them black
Yes I definitely like the way the door cards look. Rears are tougher to clean up
What’s the name of the first song? :)
Hey! Honestly I do not remember the track name used with this video, but I believe one from epidemicsound.com!
Woww. I like 👍👍
Thank you 🙏
