Came across your channel and this game the first time on this video. Honestly, I would watch it even if the turbine noise was there the whole time (but hopefully not), it is just that good. Thanks for the great episode!
I am so happy to hear that!! Thank you so much, I'm really happy to hear you've come across my channel and you like it, welcome aboard, I hope you enjoy what is to come!!
Hi Zeruri, It’s awesome your back making a new series. I really appreciate your effort put into making detailed car exterior and interior design. Also how to make good campaign cars. This helps support automation and its developer killerrob as a whole.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate what you've said. I really do try my best to make good looking and functioning cars, I really love this game and I want it to keep doing well as it is, so yeah, I guess making these videos does help show what the game can be and what is possible!
Great to see you back and love the content. What a peppy little runner you made. Sure it is small, sure it may not have a lot of HP, sure it may not go beltway speeds, but it has loads of character with that throaty little boxer and it makes up for it in the thrill of the driving experience. If you thrash it about, you can get the heavy tail out on some lovely drifts. Because it is so small and it sounds so beefy, you feel like you are going faster than you are. Put some fatter tires on it, boost the engine, and remove the interior and you have the next Rally Mini Cooper on your hands.
You foreshadowed this series by 3 episodes, that's really damn impressive! It's a very fun little machine, it has a lot of character! Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate them! :)
@@ZenturiAutomotive I wasn't intending to play spoiler, but I did have a bit of a smile when I heard you say you were making a rally version of the car and the changes you had in mind for it. You somehow managed to make the cars faster and handle even better than ever. That's pretty impressive. And what a massive difference in time between the standard A 100 and the GT version. When you put the wing on the back, it put me in the mind of the original Fiat 500 Abarth TCR. The Wagon version also looked great. Can't wait to see what you have in store in the future.
@@ZenturiAutomotive The Lamborghini Countach is considered to be a rear engined car, because the engine is essentially the whole rear of the car. The gas tank(s) are in the rear located in the sills at the sides of the engine, but still behind the driver seats. Of course that is a 2 seater car and not a 4 seater.
Thank you! I've been working on getting my mic settings as good as possible and I'm just stuck with it honestly, I've followed so many tutorials and none seem to help, but I'll keep working on it in the future!
What do you use to process audio when you edit? Most good options give you a noise filter, that will remove background noise such as fan whine. You should also run your voice track through a compressor. Just a few steps will take your audio quality to the next level.
I mainly use my recording software and my video editor to edit the audio, but the fan spooling up, i.e. 'Jet Turbine' cant be edited out without removing the whole section, so I've left it for comedic effect :)
Two questions (I do own Automation but I'm a total n00b): 1) Is the popping and banging in the engine test normal? I can never seem to get rid of that. 2) Why do we have a big grille in the front when the engine is in the back...?
The popping and banging can be toned down in the engine builder, it's a setting off to the right. The grille is just for effect, I imagine it would have been more of a design choice rather than a functional one as it would have been simple to make and it looks a lot more like a car with it rather than without it
@@Stale_Mahoney The MR2 is a mid-engine, and the grille in that case is more a scoop to catch and deflect road debris that may otherwise damage expensive bits of kit - but the point is taken.
Yeah, I know, its mainly there for design purposes, I guess you could argue that it helps cool the interior and lower the drag of the car but I wont argue it, I agree with you XD
Horsepower in imperial, Torque in not imperial, me in sadness. Also I didn't know you could set it up that way, I thought you had to choose between metric or imperial for both at the same time.
This car would definitely fit right in with the likes of the fiat 500, the mini, and the bug. The ultimate quartet of fun little cars

One thing to note, the fuel cap should be on the front fender. Usually 90% of the time when you have rear engine, the fuel tank is in the front.
Yeah, I contemplated that, but then I thought that the fuel tank could be under the rear seats, either way would work

I see, thank you. Looking forward to seeing how this all goes, you earned a subscriber. :)

there is also cars with rear engines and radiators in the front so a grill would not be out of the question, look at the Toyota MR2 as an example

is the frontgrill open, but its the boot?
It would be a boot, so i guess behind the grille would be a metal tub :)

I used to have it KW and NM, but i got a lot of comments from people saying they would rather see Horsepower so i switched back :)
The front half looks like a Mini Cooper and the reer half looks like the VW Beetle. Very classy

LOL - don't know what cars sound like in this game but that sounded terrible.
But it works.
It definitely works, it's very muffled and rumble isn't really as present as you would expect, but it definitely works!

This game is called Automation: The Car Company Tycoon, it's really fun!
@ Looks unique and like it could be quite fun.
If all chrome gets replaced with w h i t e then you can use the paint you used for the number plate holder, it seems to be reflective
