Yeah beautiful job. It's videos like this I save to show my anti-gaming mother-in-law. She is a school counsellor so she only sees the worst cases. But there is so much joy and creativity to be found in video games.
@@brian177 when i talk about reallife i mean, building real castles and buildings for examples. Or becoming an athlete urself. Or what ever drives you. Thats how the world became more advanced and great people were formed.
"Have you seen it, Aragorn? The White Tower of Ecthelion, glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver, its banners caught high in the morning breeze. Have you ever been called home by the clear ringing of silver trumpets? One day our paths will lead us there, and the tower guard will take up the call: the Lords of Gondor have returned."
I just bought the game today, figuring out how to layer buildings for my castle. Instead I see this? what a crazy crazy work haha im in awe. Awesome job man!
With the limitations of the game, it absolutely amazes me how accurately people are able to recreate things like these, honestly. I mean, the height of the mountains itself is a BIG bummer, so how do you go around that limitation? Take houses, shape their walls and roofs to that of a mountain and color it accordingly! Amazing. Well done honestly. Suppose it's just a question of time before someone does Barad-Dur, ha ha. XD
@@dinethinduwara9419 I checked Steam discussion forums and found that, to my surprise, quite a few people have gotten the game working on those GPUs. No clue how well it runs though. So it depends on which "Intel graphics" we're talking about and how much RAM your system has. I tried the demo on a system with a 5600G (32GB RAM) and the performance isn't as bad as I expected, especially if the render scale is lowered a bit.
Jesus H Christ. I've tried making Bodiam Castle from the southeast of England, and am struggling a fair bit, and here you are making Minas-goddamn-Tirith!
fun fact. Many people think minas tirith is actually an underground city inside that structure because ''Minas'' means Mines in Spanish. But its not, Minas means Tower in Sindarin.
From a defensive stand point, the city built in each layer would actually by hindrance for the defenders since if an attacker manages to get inside, it would be really difficult to get them out because of all the places to cover or hide from a sally coming from the levels above. Edit: Idea for a future video. Gondolin
Can you start at the ground and work your way through the city streets, up and around all the ramps and steps and tunnels in a continuous first person shot ascending to the top?
Uh.. question from the peanut gallery, what's your system specs because after that talk given by one of the Tiny Glades devs saying they are targeting potato hardware, I'm really wondering if this build (or something functionality but similar) is representative of an area that can be filled with NPCs if ever they decide to sell or license this product to a publisher able to shop around first before committing to their own in-house tools...

Whats next? Khazad-dûm?
Players: just had to push it to the extreme
No the point is to expand your limits through exploration.

You made the rider statue at the entrance, you build the trebuchets, you somehow got pretty much every detail. This is masterful work

@@brian177 Yes, but it drains all ur ambitions and energy into games, instead of real life. Thats the real problem.
@@FFeeLiT This is not true. This project is totally analogous to other "real life" hobbies like making ships in bottles or model airplanes.

Only thing it missed was Denethor falling while burning
the way you took the same angles as the scene in the film, and the music in the background, it even made me tear up hahaha beautiful work

Is there any performance mods for the game?

Minis Tirith do have massive sheep floating around with umbrella. it is very well done.
Absolutely incredible! Talk about capturing the detail and feel of a location. Very well done!
They need to add a mode where you can walk around your creations at real scale. This is crazy. would be so cool to walk around it!!

Incredible job. Proportions are just right!

This day does not belong to one man, but to all flying sheep. - Aragorn
The best build I seen so far
Now if only the game also rendered at the end the inside of each building with interiors. That would be most excellent my dudes 👏 👌 🙌
That lil plug instead of the white tree!
Massive construction. Amazing.
I suppose I knew I'd see this after some time. Helm's Deep and Rivendell were quick, so this was the next step. But damn, it looks good.

Next, make a warhammer 40k hivecity thats set on a feudal medieval world. :D
Man, if they released an infinite space update...

It's weird that there is no option for large rock formations. Great workaround.
I wanna know what the devs think of this master build
Wow! I wish you could walk through it in 1. person mode 😍
Hope the game devs sees this
Meanwhile I try to make a house and forget to put in windows. lol amazing job. Have some internet points!
