Great video Jay, love the last 2 minutes! So true what you said " Don't need a lami and a VS to surf fish" key here is to get out and enjoy! Just don't come over and cast over my shoulder and definitely don't jack my rock and we are good!! Lmao
Hey there,… looking at your gear ,… you’re a serious Striper/ Bluefish guy….as am I ,.. except the Bluefish…I’m on the west coast… I had a boat rod when I was 8 years old and I snuck out to go Striper fishing… yes,.. a broomstick of a rod about 7’ at best..but I whipped that bucktail just as far as any of these veteran casters… Now I’m ‘63 and I’m whipping a 12’ St. Croix Avid Surf Caster conventional heaver … What I’m getting at is …. sure, you don’t need that $1000 set up … but you’re showing your top shelf setups … your reels start at $1000 a reel …Van Stahl… Shimano Stella..! Younger guys are going to highly disappointed when they realize the cost of these rods & reels you present to your viewers… just sayin…

All rods are Lamiglas and the reels are Van Staal and Shimano. The first two reels are a Van Staal 200 and 250. Thanks for watching!!

Hi,what is the last surf rod?
The last surf rod is a 9'4" Lamiglas GSB L which I had made from an 11 foot GSB L blank (GSB 1321 L). It is a custom build.
