yes I did but I didn't catch anything, I really like the St Croix Croix rod. I am going to York beach Maine next week for a whole week, it should be good fishing , Thanks.@@bobbylee3567
Great vids for anyone getting started with surf fishing. What size rod do you think would balance well with a shimano stradic 5k ? I'm torn btw the one piece 8 ft and the 2 pc 9 ft. I'll be using it mainly for SW FL beach fishing.
Hey man I love the video I do have one question though. I need a rod to pair my vr200 and I want the seage. I am not sure about the length. I will be using it for the mullet run and I have 40 pound braid on the vr200. What length do you think I should buy 9 feet or 10 feet. Thank you
New subscriber here. Well, you convinced me. I ordered the SES 10'6 MH, MF. Which reel would you recommend (Stripers, Jacks, Tarpon, etc) to balance it well? The reel budget is $1,000.
Which of these three would be the best for bottom fishing using cut bait and sinker and that sort? The Medium heavy 10' 6 or should I go with the 11'0 heavy? I want to be able to fish on ocean piers as well.
We have been selling the hell out of them and the customers have been loving them. The changes they made from the prior Mojo series just takes it to the next level. Great video and if you don't mind I'm going to put it on my Riptide Bait and Tackle page if that's ok? Thanks :)
I had the seage 8ft and I have to say I never disliked a rod more. The action on the rod was so bad. The loading on the cast couldn’t be worse. I switched to the avid surf and it blows the seage out of the water.
Thanks for the great review of these rods , I just got the 10' 6 MH last night, can't wait to try it next week at plum island.
Did you fish Plum Island?

Second day in a row i caught a fish with your video playing on the boat😅😅
Is the 10'6 rod suitable to fish at the Cape Cod Canal? And how much does that rod weigh?
When we go out next you have to let me try that rod. Cant wait
Great video 👍. Does the 10ft and 10’6 use the same bottom section? Wondering if the tops are interchangeable. Thanks

Get a vsx2 200 or 250
Would the Penn Spinfisher Vi 6500 pair well with the 10'6 MH rod?

I would get the 10’6 MH honestly.
@@GetReelBassFishing Thanks!
Can you throw a 1 ounce buck tail with the 10’6”
Yes. it is rated for up to 4 oz.
I’ve been using them since they came out that 9ft is special lol I have abused that rod and just keeps going
If you could go back to hold you get 9ft or 10ft
If you’ve used the avid surf series how would you compare them with the seage series??
What about throwing a doc lure in the 3.5oz? Could you throw it on this rod?
Behind you
Looks like the replacement for my Mojos.
100%

That’s awesome man! Sure thing! Thanks!
I’m glad to hear everyone else loves them too!

Have you tried the legend surf ?
