That's how mine used to sound. I ordered the mid section to delete the resonaters as well from Italy, got them through but destroyed my M5 before I could fit them :( That V8...sounded A M A Z I N G... The E60 is faster, and I'd love one of them too but can't quite afford yet and the E39 is going up in value fast here in the UK.

The metallic annoying sound usually comes from the resonators I think. Mine was fine though with just a backbox delete.

so you mean this is the stock exhaust system (exhaust manifold+cats+resonator) just with the supersprint mufflers installed ?
That is nmot only supersprint exhaust. Muffler delete with X-pipe and cats.
