I gave my cheap Lamborghini the upgrade it deserved and got rid of its ugly red wheels.

I'd love to have this guy as a friend and neighbor. Imagine needing some work done on your car, or even an oil change. All the tools, the lift, etc. Plus, its like having an 'Ask Jeeves' right there.

I just love something about the outro of this video.
I mean, Tavarish has a good amount of experience so he knows what he's doing, yet he's getting in a friend to basically teach him how to weld, and it's for a lamborghini, and not like a '99 Civic or some shit. He just sticks to that mantra of diving in to a project and chipping away at every problem bit by bit, learning along the way, and not being afraid of something expensive, and it is honestly inspiring. Fantastic video, I am loving this build, and I'm keen to see it continue.

I actually like the blue brake calipers. With the color of wheels, they fit nicely.
Paint the calipers any color you want. I personally dig the blue now with the grey wheels.

Powercoating the calipers is a waste of time and money now that the wheels are grey. Blue doesn't clash with your wheels anymore so just keep them and spend the money on body.
I say keep the calipers blue! Looks good with those wheels and the white car.

They really do. With the new wheel color it‘d be awesome if he keeps them like this. Having red brake calipers is just sooo ordinary, and making them silver or black would take away some spice.
Of course we don‘t really know what‘s in Freddy‘s mind, how he wants the car to look like when it‘s finished. Maybe the Lambo will be wrapped in a different color, who knows?

Tavarish, I honestly don't give a damn about the Lamborghini, you could be working on a Yugo for all I care... it's the way you present what you're doing, the way you talk through and explain the whats and whys, and the extras you explain here and there that make me feel like I could actually work on a car. This is from someone who can barely change their own oil. You deserve every subscriber and a million more after that.

The blue calipers look good IMO... An electric blue with grey accents for the Gallardo would be an awesome combo. Such a pity the white interior wouldn't match...

Meh, the Aston Martin is flashier. Lambo’s are too mainstream nowadays, almost every TH-camr has some sort of Lamborghini in their garage now.
The Gallardo isn't flash spec. It's a drivers car hence the manual gear box.

Tavarish, I would recommend ceramic coating the wheels now that you have got them powder coated for added protection and ease of cleaning. You should also try it on the exterior paint when done. C-quarts is the recommended brand. Awesome video. I got the pilot sport cup 2. Awesome tire.

Such a great concept, right? Spend some time on various car forums, figure out which car will attract people while being not too hard & expensive to fix. Name the first video something like "I bought the cheapest Ferrari in North America" and proceed with trying to fix everything that's wrong with it following tutorials you found on forums.
People think higher end cars are sooo much more complex and hard to figure out compared to the more common cars, I guess that's why these kind of projects are so popular

I have been watching your videos from Toronto for quit some time and very much enjoy what you are doing. Hell, if I had a garage like yours I might be doing something similar.
Anyway, here's my two cents worth for the brake calipers; either leave them dark so they disappear and let the car shine on it's own, OR, paint them WHITE to match the car.

I've got rims powdercoated in very close to that color and silver calipers look really good. Nice contrast but tasteful.
Also, if your rims are hubcentric be sure to lightly sand off any powdercoating that gets into that center hub. Otherwise heat will slightly soften the powdercoating and almost "glue" the rim center to the hub. Makes it tough to get them off.
Love the gunmetal wheels!! Honestly, I dig the blue brakes behind them, but if you want to change the color of the calipers go either red or black. I'm itching to hear this thing, once you get everything back together. Nice work, man. This was a sweet find
