I never had any of the Speed’s to know the differences, but I just got the Speed 4’s and my feet fell in love! I tried so many different pairs of shoes from Brooks, Nike, ASICS and the Speed 4’s were a breath of fresh air! Cannot wait to take them out on a run today. Also, for those concerned that the price is a bit high, sign up for Saucony’s newsletter and get that 15% off! That’s what I did
I picked up another Speed 3 for €60!!!! What a bargain!!!! LOVE that shoe, not only soooo pretty in black, it just makes me wanna go running and keep on running!!!
Am I the only one who had to go half a size up from regular size in the Speed 3? Us 10.5 fitted like a glove, leaving no room for the toes. Now with US 11 everything is fine.
Nearly bought the Speed 4 after owning the 1, 2 and 3 but ended up going for the Asics Superblast instead for another £20 and, so far, after 50 miles I am loving them
I've got the speed 3 and love them. Just looking for something with more soft because I'm 55 and need soft shoes on the road. Hopefully superblasts turns up today. 45mm stack should help
Great video, keep up the good work, folks. I’ve run over 160miles in my speed 3s and love them. Comfortable, light and the rocker just encourages me to go (slightly) faster.
OK- I'll pick up another pair of 3's on sale for now. These have become my go-to daily trainers. good for easy miles, plus I'm lousy at following a training plan. If friends have a workout scheduled on my easy run- I'll just run with them, so need a daily trainer that can pick up the pace... so I can totally mess up my training plan.
Tried on Speed 4 in store… I didn’t like the wider foam at the heel, felt a little bulky. I’m not a huge fan of Mach 5 for that exact reason, and I’m glad they went narrower in Mach 6.
Loved my 3’s so much I skipped the 4’s and bought another pair of 3’s. I only have about 300ish miles on my first pair but I’m not seeing any degradation like other reviews. Only use my running shoes as running shoes though. 🤷🏼♂️
Just wanted to give everybody a heads-up: I've had the speed 3 for a while now (about 400km) and it might have upper issues where it rips laterally. The big logo overlay gives it a bit of structure but it's not glued perfectly and can peel off. I've seen the same kind of stuff happening in a pair of Triumph 19. The upper is definitely the least durable part of this otherwise unique shoe.
After owning the speed 3 the most overated shoe probably ever made i dont even need to try the speed 4 to know that my money should go on another pair of superblast. Saucony is at least £30 over where it should be to compete with the boston 12 or similar. At £195 the superblast isnt cheap but at least its a great shoe.
I liked the 3 better. It’s been my all time favorite running shoe. The 4 has a bit more stability which some people may find nice but the fit is sloppy for me. No matter what insoles I try they don’t fit great.
Speed 1 and 2 was great shoes, especially the 2!!!I didn't like the third version of speed so i suppose that neither the speed 4 is for my taste!!! I will go to Endorphin Pro 4 instead, i think that this one is worth buying!!! Not the Speed line any more...!!!
I have wide feet (wide in the toe area), and I'm searching for HM/FM race shoes. Sounds like Speed 3 matches my need. Any suggestions/alternative for race-day shoes at reasonable price? I'm using Novablast-3 for daily train.
After 3 runs in the Speed 4, I find it a bit bouncier than version 3. But both of them are nowhere near as lively as versions 1 and 2. They were the GOAT.
Used the ES 1 in 2020. As of today, I agree nothing tops that. My fav shoe of all time. Felt sad I didnt bought the speed 2. It felt like it was custom made for my foot and the flying feeling even though I was just a beginner at that time made me fell in love with running. Still looking for a shoe that gave that same feeling 🥹
Given their striking similarity despite their apparent differences, Saucony should opt to retain the latest numerical iteration and proceed to name the new shoes 'Endorphin Speed 3 Reskin'.
Speed 3 for me is waaay too tight. My pro 3s fit perfect (same size). I wear size 9 and have pretty narrow feet. I feel like im going crazy, or i got a lemon pair of speed 3s!
I have run 850KM+ in speed 3 and its still going strong... What a shoe!!

From what website? Thanks
@@stephendonnelly4620 Sorry Stephen it was flash sale on showroom prive, a French site for online flash sales, so long finished.
Please do share, in need of a new daily trainer.
What
@@solefreak2Is the speed 3 or 4 a daily trainer?
My Endorphin Speed 3 just arrived today. I can't wait to try them out this evening. I saved 40euro.
Mine come today too !
I absolutely LOVED my Speed 3’s! Ran multiple 5k PR’s in the shoe and raced a half marathon in it!
I love the 3. Great review as always!
I went for the deal and got the 3s. Just came in and will be trying them out today! Couldn't pass up the $35 off!
Am I the only one who had to go half a size up from regular size in the Speed 3? Us 10.5 fitted like a glove, leaving no room for the toes. Now with US 11 everything is fine.
i hear you. they were also tighter / narrower for me around the toes compared to the 3.
I had to go extra half size up in speed 3 - got the same size in speed 4 and was too big so sized half down back to normal in speed 4.
@@ourchannelofthisandthat appreciate your feedback 👍🏻

Had superblasts now for 3 months. When it comes to a training shoe for the road nothing come close to them. Worth every penny
I shaved off 18 minutes on my half marathon time the first time running in my endorphin speed 3s. Love them!

Id buy the speed 3 again gladly but there isnt a single website that has a normal size available!

Bought the 3’s on sale for ne threshold runs. That and DN3. When the Speed 4 goes on sale I’ll get those.
I have the OG Endorphin Speed. Very good pair of shoes. I've missed a couple of generations, it seems! There's miles left in them yet.

Endorphin speed 3 is always sold out everywhere, (atleast the black colored) somehow this is a really popular shoe

Fantastic video. Still use Speed 2 (got two pairs at a cheap discount). Anyone uses 2 now?
I still have a pair of Speed 2’s along with a pair of 3’s, and love the 2’s! Perfect for a tempo day!
Still use the 2’s
mine still at 320km, still long way to go!
Yes, my preferred option for hill sprints!
I ended up running through 1200 miles in 2 pairs or Speed 2s and 1 Pro 2 …but they’ve all gone now 😢
Glad to hear that because I just bought the Speed 3 (it was cheap) without having the chance of trying the 4….
Wow, great idea guys. Cool test. I think you might continue to expand this concept to all new series shoes vs their predecessor model.
Speed 3's are my favorite running shoes. But sadly they don't make Speed 4 wides yet. Hoping for feb release.

Stability ? 1-2-3-4 most stabil ?
I liked the 3 better. It’s been my all time favorite running shoe. The 4 has a bit more stability which some people may find nice but the fit is sloppy for me. No matter what insoles I try they don’t fit great.
The size you choose looks mostly very narrow ... why not a fit thumbs width ?

Pro 4 is amazing shoe
I like the Speed 4 much better than the 3. It is faster and has a narrower fit than the 3.
I have wide feet (wide in the toe area), and I'm searching for HM/FM race shoes. Sounds like Speed 3 matches my need. Any suggestions/alternative for race-day shoes at reasonable price?

if i could only afford a 2 shoe rotation, any suggestions to match with the speed 3?
I like my Novablast/Speed 3 pairing. NB for easy/long runs and speed for workouts/faster running.
@@ChairmanAntelopeyup I have this same rotation. Superblast for speedy non plated days
My experience between the first speed and the new balance rebel v2, will make me go for the new rebel v4,a more enjoyable ride
There aren’t many size options around in the v3 anymore sadly
The head to head I’ve been waiting for - which would you rather run 1700 miles in 😂

Just got speed 3 again - super bargain price too!!

Got a pair of 4s for £125. Can't find speeds 3 in many sizes anymore
I loved the speed 2
i like the weight of the speed 3... :)
Speed 1 and 2 and rebel v2 > every new shoe in this category
miss the speed 2.
The 3 was rubbish, the fact he says it set the benchmark for plated speedy 3 says it all about this guys review
ES4 easily
The speed 3 rub my Achilles quite badly - I’ve never experienced this in any other shoe. Has anyone else experienced this?
Theyre not worth £170 its a ridiculous price
What were they smoking at Saucony when they came up with that price increase? Truly must have been meth or something. Not cool.
