I bought myself a pstv and hooked it up to my monitor using hdmi (since my computer was hooked to displayport). When I was buying it less than a year ago, pstv was $30-ish on amazon (and I already had a dualshock4 controller, so didnt have to pay extra for that). The game was around $20 ish, so in total price for machine and the game came out less than a newly-released game on ps4. My monitor has a speaker as well, but i use a tiny bluetooth speaker for a bit better sound quality anyways. Might wanna give that a try if you don't want to pay $150 for a device.

I never tried every romance in P5, but there were a few that were done pretty well if you ask me. Ann and Kawakami are both great, both in their confidant conversations and optional romance events like Hawaii and Valentine's Day. Though I'll admit Makoto's confidant conversations sucked, and Futaba felt way too much like a little sister (especially because her personality is very similar to my favorite little sister in all of anime/anime games) for me to want to try anything with her. And I never really bothered pursuing a relationship with any of the other girls, although the doctor (can't quite remember her name) will probably be my gf on my next playthrough of P5 if I decide to try something new.

Well I mean the game was released back in 2008 and development was before smart phones were the new thing. Blackberry was around but it wasn't a very big hit. The IPhone came out a year before P4 was released but flip phones were still the norm.
