And Superman turns out to be a humble person, and still gave Aquaman and Wonder Woman the chance to deliver some hits to Steppenwolf while he watched from the back 😂. Justice League has so much potential if done correctly, but WB is too impatient to outpace Marvel. Its a pity, I feel that many of DC's standalone movies like Wonder Woman, Man of Steel, Aquaman and Shazam are better than many of MCU's standalone movies.
There is just no point with a movie where Superman can beat anyone in one second. He can fly around the world in a second, and is strong enough to destroy the Earth if he wants to. He is invulnerable. Why would he need allies? How could he possibly have enemies? They all pull out kryptonite, which is absurd - pieces from a planet that exploded far away and went through space randomly, and dozens of them somehow landed on Earth. But why would that stop Superman when he can just fly high in the air and throw rocks, or freeze a kryptonite-holding enemy with his breath? They have to constantly nerf Superman by making him extremely stupid. Landing in front of a villain to talk. Moving far slower than he is capable of. I see no point in paying anything to go see such a character.
@rb gaming12 all of them included are 1. Cull Obsidian (the one who doesn't talk) 2. Ebony Maw (squidward dude) 3. Corvius Glave 4. The blue girl (please forgive me for forgetting her name)
XxxIdgaf That plan doesn’t make sense in the first place. I’m pretty sure you have heard the complaints but the universe will repopulate in a few years to the way it was. Plus him doing it for a “good” reason makes him less scary than in the comments
Being one hundred percent honest. I went to see Justice League opening night with some of my friends. I fell asleep within the first 20 minutes of the movie and woke up to the end credits. That was the only time I've EVER fallen asleep in a theater.
The biggest reason, Marvel spent 10 years setting up the payoff of Infinity War, and DC tried to play catch up as fast as possible, instead of laying the groundwork.
I love thanos, and i enjoyed killmonger but nobody gives enough credit to Vulture. Vulture was honestly such a good villain, he was both brutal, relatable, intimidating and commanded so much presence in his scenes
@Sergio Ramirez lol...man traveled all through the galaxy dropping his baby batter off in every woman he could find I thought it was funny that he was revealed to be a dedicated man whore back in his hey day. The shit about killing unworthy offspring and Quill's mom...not so much.
That‘s why they let him life and go to jail. I think we will see the vulture again with the sinister 6 in Spider-Man 3. Sony wants to bring Venom into the MCU/Spideyverse, i could see something like: Green Goblin, Vulture, Shocker, Sandman (survivor of the elementals in Far from home), Mysterio and Carnage vs Spidey & Venom + someone like Falcon and Winter Soldier in the last battle. MCU understand one thing far more better than DCEU, people love cameos, they love collaborations! They love that it all paints a bigger universe. I never understand why they don’t took flash from the show..and gave for example Cyborg a mini arc in it like 2 or 3 episodes. You would have got a Flash everybody likes + a Cyborg people outside of DC fans know. For example, MCU needs someone the can mash up with a new hero? They can always take Quake or Ghostrider from AoS because it is the same Universe.
Easy answer, Marvel planned their path Marvel got writes that knew the characters Marvel established the characters before bringing them together Marvel stroke a good balance between seriousness and comedy. Sometimes too much comedy but decent balance none the less. Warner Bros did nothing of the sort bar Aquaman and Wonder Woman. I'm a DC fan but Marvel studios just did everything better
Here’s the order that should’ve released the DCEU movies after Man of Steel. 1. Man of Steel 2. The Batman 3. A proper Man of Steel sequel 4. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice 5. Wonder Woman 6. Aquaman 7. The Flash 8. Cyborg 9. Justice League.
@@mycroft16 Exactly "That was just such a great film." but that is only one Marvel did more movie and most of them are great the only one I did have a problem was Iron Man I didn't like it and Thor for some reason I couldn't watch it I find it boring, but beside those all the other I think the are great, so what is a great movie against a few good movies? When you compare Marvel still did better.
They shouldn't have introduced an all-CG villain until they were given the budget for it. More things that WB rushed because they just NEEDED to "catch up" to a series that started 4-5 years before them and makes twice the number of movies in a year
You made some valid points but you missed the biggest reason why Marvel succeeds and DC doesn't... Marvel is more patient. That's right. Marvel built up to infinity war for a decade, starting with Iron Man. DC did very little character building. They should have had a Flash movie. They should have had a Cyborg movie or two. They should have sat down and planned out every movie before shooting the first movie. That's the truth.
@Tory Livingston They were simply mentioned there, just a cameo. They had no characterization nor build up. That's the problem, you can't rush these things. Iron Man had like 3 solo movies before Infinity War, so did Captain America. Thor, Hulk, and the Guardians got their own movies too, Spidey did too. The other Avengers movies gave even more development on their relationships. Heck, just about everyone got their own movies. The point is that we got to understand these characters and grow attached to them. We watched their struggles and accomplishments in their respective movies, so when the time came for all of them to meet, it ended up being a storm of emotion. We know who these heroes are, not as characters, but as people. Say there's an upcoming football game this week and you're going. If some stranger just approaches and tells you he's playing, you wouldn't care for them. However, if your bestfriend, lover, or sibling happens to be a player for the game, how they would do is gonna be as important to you as it is for them. That's the difference between DC and Marvel; DC rushed it and tossed everyone in, while Marvel took it slow.
@Tory Livingston You don't need to make 18 movies over the span of 10 years to have a movie with an interesting villain, good action scenes or a compelling story...
Tory Livingston well if you compared marvels first film to justice league or the first avengers film they are both better. I’ve been able to sit through a lot of films, but justice league was just unwatchable and they’ve actually done much better before. They just rushed it because they wanted to rival marvel which was a bad move on their part
Marvel also used several cameos of Thanos before he took the main stage so they built up some fan anticipation unlike Steppenwolf who I had never heard of before the Justice League movie.
Honestly it's so stupid they don't have steppenwolf make any earlier appearances even though a majority of people who go to watch justice league probably don't know who he is yet they still felt the need to show Bruce's parents dying AGAIN in BvS.
Also, steppenwolf has never been that much of a big deal for the dc universe. He is basically Darkseid´s servant, who is yet to reveal himself. So again, just a way to build anticipation for an upcoming movie instead of focusing on the present one.
so darkseid servant is so powerful that the team is basically useless and have to rely to the newly resurected superman, if so then we don't need any JL movie for darkseid, darkseid vs superman is enough, anyone other than superman would be useless anyway
Andhika Bayu Trimulya Yeah that was one of my major problems as well, the fact that Superman was SO much better than everyone else, just felt like everyone were useless next to him.
The Thanos cameos were weaved in very nicely over the course of the plot and the important thing was how early on Marvel introduced him. It raised awareness among the movie goers and allowed those who aren't into comics that much to do some homework and see what to expect.
I think another key reason that Just League doesn't work is the characters have very little in relation to each other. In endgame, a lot of the characters had already built up relationships through several separate movies and had history and a reason to fight togethor.
@@zlwel287 because they have conflicts with each other, to this day I still don’t understand why Aquaman changes his mind to join JL, the team itself just doesn’t make much interesting interaction and also we don’t know much about these characters
@@madtitan0825 both teams had internal cnflict, both joined forces for a common goal, we only know thor iron man and cap in avenger, and we only know batman superman and wonder wamon in JL
@@zlwel287 tbh I don’t feel like I KNOW Batman and Superman in this universe because the movies tell their stories poorly, I know WW cuz they literally explain her character for the entire movie(I really enjoy WW)so we understand her action in JL, and other two characters’ development is just... vague
Thing is the Russi brothers are.. brothers. Joss Whedon came in after Snyder left cuz of family issues. Both had different ideas. Best course of action should have been to scrap the movie and remake it. Or wait for Snyder
Infinity stones: Ancient powerful relics that represent different elements of the universe. Motherboxes: Cubes when they are close together makes a bunch off weird pillars come out of the ground and makes everything dark and fire, lol. For the whole movie I was clueless to what they are, and what they would do. In Infinity War I was like “oh, he’s got the power stone- that means he’s powerful” and so on. To be fair I wanted to enjoy Justice League, but watching it made me feel stupid.
A "Motherbox" is one of the lamest "special objects" I've ever seen in an action/adventure film. Also it sounds vaguely sexual and incestuous. GROSS!! To be fair I ALSO wanted to enjoy Justice League, but watching it made me feel super sad... and bat sad.
one more thing I hate about JL they didn't highlight any of aquamans powers,he mostly just swung his quindent around, they could have just replaced him with hawkgirl if they want some blunt force trauma.
Mini Panini far less known than Aquaman and clearly far weaker. She’d never be able to handle Steppenwolf how Aquaman and Wonder Woman did although her mace does do major damage. I’m a big fan of Shayera but she would work better with Batman against the Parademons since she’s about their level of strength and can fly too.
I believe they wanted to wait for his standalone movie to come out to show his powers. My biggest disappointment with JL is flash, I had high hopes for him haha
Matthew Charlery-Smith whats the difference, aquaman and wonder woman did little to no damage to him which brings me to another thing I hated, the very basic garden variety supes ex machina.
in the original avengers, the theme was about teamwork and stuff. Justice league tried to do the exact same thing but they ended up saying "everyone sucks, resurrect a godlike alien so he can destroy everyone"
@@Hmmm777 she is in the comics. but the thing about her in the movies is she doesn't know her full powers yet. there's lots of interdimensional crazy shit that happens with her. with Spider-Man: Far From Home they sort of hint at it so we'll see if they let her reach her full power. the good thing about her as opposed to superman is she's already established as taking care of the universe, not just being on earth. where as superman is only really ever on earth (for now). that makes it easy to make excuses as to why captain marvel can't help with an issue on earth.
@@Hmmm777 nah. Captain Marvel has some space stuff to do. Like she said in endgame, there are a lot of planets out there that don’t have defenders or avengers.
The best part is that it actually makes sense with the plot. The Avengers/Guardians NEED to bring their A-game. They need to work together and be totally flawless in order to succeed
I always kind of found it funny that people always stated that Marvel had a villain problem, yet they had one great villain and a couple acceptable villains up until the third phase, where they had an explosion of villains. Also, I say that James Spader's Ultron is still one of the most underrated villains. It was just hampered by poor plots otherwise.
Amazing Villains: Thanos, Loki, Killmonger, Vulture Great Villains: Mysterio, Winter Soldier, Hela Good Villains: Zemo, Alexander Pierce Ok Villains: Iron Monger, Abomination, Ronan, Ultron, Ego, Ghost, Sonny Burch, Yon Rogg Bad Villains: Red Skull, Aldrich Killian, Yellow Jacket, Dormammu Trash Villains: Whiplash, Kaecillius Awful Villains: Malekeith Idk I'd say Marvel used to have a villain problem but its not that bad anymore.
Marvel: Let's craft a ten-year plan to tell the biggest superhero story ever put on the big screen. Y'know, do what we did in the comics, but live action. DC (Warner): We want the money that Marvel is making. That's the problem, along with everyone else trying to jump on the shared-universe bandwagon. They're not doing it in order to craft a huge story, they're doing it because they've seen Marvel make tons of money doing it and want a piece of that pie. They're not willing to put in the time and effort to develop it slowly, because they want the big bucks now. Avengers was the big money-maker, so they want to skip straight to that one, ignoring the fact that is was the build-up that made Avengers successful. Its like someone looking at the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Oh look, Return of the King was showered with awards and made lots of money, let's find ourselves a cool fantasy series and skip straight to the last part. What, nobody liked our film? I don't get it?
Exactly! But,The sad part is... DC COULD have "caught up" easily. and they botched it. I'm talking about BvS. At first ,People were rushing in to see freaking SUPERMAN and BATMAN on the big screen together for the 1st time. It was bad and word of mouth slowed it down. If it was actually good it would have done really well. All they had to do with setup for TWO CHARACTERS . TWO CHARACTERS
Justin Aguilar I mean, ofc they're doing it for the money, they're a business, that's how businesses work, but at least Marvel were smart enough to actually do it properly. And as had been mentioned, and this is what I've been saying since BvS, DC seem much more focused on trying to catch up to where Marvel is now, than actually making a proper universe that the fans will get invested in. It's fucking sad when even die-hard DC fans have to admit that Marvel is actually doing it better. Hell, it kills ME that they're botching it like this, cuz I fucking love DC. I grew up with the Bruce Timm shows, and those were absolutely amazing, and they were technically one of the first versions of a shared universe like this, though I think the Marvel shows with X-men and Spiderman were a bit earlier, but my point still stands, they were able to create a proper and good universe back then. Hell, they've been crafting a great universe in their tv-shows with the Arrowverse for years now, so obviously somebody working at DC knows what they're doing, but for some reason they can't translate that into their movies, idk what the hell is going on! Sry for my ramblings, I'll cut it off here xD
Took the words right out of my mouth. Marvel gave us time to familiarize ourselves with the characters and we grew to love them. DC kinda just jumped straight into the team up films, shoe horning doomsday into batman v superman and killing off superman way too soon. They were desperately trying to catch up with marvel and that was their downfall.

@@trevorphilips9065 No one asked you. Im riffing on DC because they dont know why they do half of what they do, thier story changes so erratically you cant follow it, and thier characters are shallower than my bank account
The scene where Thanos is dragging Gamora to the abyss and she's slapping his arm refusing to believe he loves her is the most heart wrenching scene and it makes infinity war light years ahead of any DC movie. I just simply could not care less about any DC character. That's why they've failed.
AVENGERS took 10 years and 15 movies before infinity war. Properly introduced every character. And slowly built it's roster, and the big reason. THEY FOLLOWED THE COMIC BOOK SOURCE MATERIAL! (Mostly) Justice League was a rushed project with 3 independent movies before it. Wonder Woman was really the only good one. Man of steel was decent, BVS was trash. Plus, no Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, or Martian Manhunter. The real real villians of the DCEU are the writers, and the CGI team.
They build up for 10 yrs it's coz their characters didn't have strong story line and a hand full of comic book reference and majorly many of the charecters are ripped of from dc, DC comics have perfect and strong story line that's why just the animated series was so good which followed the comic books accurately.
Zach Synder is the main villain for the DCEU. But good thing Aquaman was already a hit as well as Shazam. I think DCEU improved itself nowadays. It's to have movies without Zach Synder and the writers.

Spider but I mean with the reality Stone can’t he change literally anything he wants? It’s possible he was doing something else, but it’s probably not the case and he actually was just killed
@@Tyrik73 The difference is he only had a few Infinity Stones when he faked his own death...in order to collect the rest of them and finally be able to fulfill his goal. When they killed Present Day Thanos, Thanos didn't put up a fight because he didn't need to. He had fulfilled his mission in life and destroyed the Stones so no one could ever undo it. Present Day Thanos is 100% dead. When people fulfill their life's purpose, they are more willing to accept and embrace death. They have done everything they set out to do. They don't care if they live or die. They're good now.

Justice league feels like watching a mediocre movie. infinity war feels like you are on the adventure WITH the characters.
Also, specifically because, as he mentions, 'Thanos has been inside [his] head for six years.' He's tired of waiting. Tired of being played for a fool. He's going to face him head-on, whatever the consequences may be.
But the beautiful thing is both theories may be right, or wrong. That's how well he's written and how beautiful the history for him has been created. It may be a little bit of Capt, or Thanos is in his head, or none of that. Maybe it's his ego and the fact that he thinks he can somehow handle this, or minimize the damage. He's a complex character and maybe anyone's theories could've been the reason. He's THAT WELL WRITTEN!

Quinn Dang No, DC's comics absolutely translates to film but they aren't inherently dark. The problem is that each character has a big personality and are completely separate from each other. Batman is the dark brooding type, Superman is the hopeful ray of sunshine, Flash is the comic relief, Wonder Woman is the powerful combat expert, Aquaman is the stoic takes no bullshit guy, Cyborg is the tech support newbie. The way these characters interact with each other is what makes bringing them together interesting. Unfortunately DC just goes way too dark for everyone and then doesn't even capitalize on their differences. I honestly couldn't stand watching more than 10 minutes of JL before turning it off and I love these characters. It's the world building that's already been set up that makes these characters less appealing. It's the shortcut to a Justice League film when only Superman and Wonder Woman have had a movie to build up their characters. It's lazy work plain and simple. Marvel earned it's team up film and capitalized on it's characters. DC on the other hand just wants money and it shows. Justice League movie only after 1 Superman film where he's introduced to the world and a half assed sequel that focused more on Batman who's fucking older by the way so we have a brand new Superman and an aging Batman who haven't even developed their relationship yet but we're supposed to buy that they respect each other by the end of BvS when they still have no actual meaningful interactions with each other. Hell even Superman has yet to have meaningful interactions with anyone besides Louis yet we're supposed to believe he was some beacon of hope. Show don't tell. I was never shown how Superman was a beacon of hope seeing as how his first film took half of it's runtime to expose him to the world and it's sequel just glorified him immediately as though he's been doing it for years. Wonder Woman was an out of time film so it doesn't do much other than inform her character but also creates inconsistencies considering her arc in her solo film doesn't line up with her actions in BvS. There just is no consistency. WB just keeps running around trying every fucking idea but then gets in the way of the creative freedom of it's investment which ruins the original product. Suicide Squad was a shit film because they took a gamble on a company who exclusively edits movie trailer to cut the entire film and that absolutely shows because it's complete shit. Way to ruin the director's vision. Reshoots for JL changed the tone and direction of Snyder's cut which probably wasn't all that better but still one singular vision. Too many hands in the cookie jar. If you hire people for a job, LET THEM DO THEIR FUCKING JOBS!
Quinn Dang Initially every character was pretty dark. Imagine what Synder's original cut would have been like. The lightheartedness only came in after Joss Wheadon came with reshoots. That initial statement I made was in relation to BvS where both title characters were practically no different. Both equally somber and brooding with no inherent differences between the two and no idealogical differences. Their conflict came down to hating each other for doing exactly what the other is doing. They are the same and are bitching to each other for doing things they both each do. It was fucking retarded to watch. Superman wasn't hopeful he was like tired and annoyed. Carrying the weight of the world that didn't appreciate him. Batman wasn't hopeful, carrying the weight of the world.... you get what I mean. The movie didn't capitalize on their differences and expected it's audience to just love that the two characters were in a movie together.
DC needs Dr. Manhattan. In the DCEU, they should just chock the creation of the DC Universe up to Dr. Manhattan, and introduce live action versions of the different universes. If they follow the comics out now, they'll do well.
I love DC Comics but the DCEU Movies are just bad from a Cineastic standpoint. They are just bad movies. Full Stop. DC is chucked full of great characters and storylines, but time and time again the modern DC movies are rushed to death. They feel the need to pump out something to compete with the "epicness" of an avengers when they haven't spent a decade establishing every single character with an own trilogy. Imagine a DCEU based on the Dark knight trilogy. 1 dark Superman movie and then a BvS with Christian Bale Batman returning to Gotham. Then maybe first an Aquaman movie. THen a Wonderwoman. Then another Superman movie. And THEN you let them team up and introduce one or two new ones like Flash. But instead they base their Universe on one really shitty Supermanmovie (seriously, if you can't see that MoS was just plain shit then i don't even know what we are talking about here) and then cram down a Justice League with characters we haven't seen before without any emotional attachment. Thats the difference. When people went to see Infinity War, they spent time with a Tony Stark they have known for over a fucking decade and have seen in a dozend movies. You care about a character like that. You don't give a flying fuck about "Cyborg", that robo-dude you learned about 6 mintues ago who sticks his CGI hand into some CGI box. Great story ark...
I know right! Now that the Snydercut's release has been confirmed, WB executives are trashing on JL. Like WTF dude? They watched the movie and decided to release it and now they're just hating on it 😂
meh inifinity stones dont work outside of your marvel universe on the other DC's darkseid powers are universal. If his real form enters thanos and marvel will start to collapse so shut up fanboys
Infinity War > Justice League for many reasons, but here's one that stuck out to me: Thor = is the strongest Avenger, and is a GOD. But has NEVER been shown actually defeating any of the other members of the group. Iron Man...Captain America...Hulk... all have held there own. In doing that, Thor doesnt make ANYBODY on the team seem useless or far inferior, despite being a god. Also, the beginning of Infinity War shows Thor DEFEATED........ Thor does show up to save the day but at the very last minute... but not on his own strength, he needed a new weapon... and he fails! Superman = Is clearly the strongest of the JL. and has been shown to be just as fast as the Flash, strong enough to defeat the entire team in less than a minute of being resurrected, and throughout the movie depicted by Batman and the group as the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT person needed to defeat the villain. AND he does it barely breaking a sweat without any help, and showed no growth as a character at all!! so... whats the point in having a team? basically, Thor is a supporting character and is not the only reason the team fails or wins. He just plays a part. On the other hand, all is lost with the Justice League without Superman. THAT is a huge writing error.
Hulk is the strongest sorry, but I do agree with what your saying superman is to me the most boring hero there is because he is perfect. No flaws which is ridiculous to me and he doesn't need anybody else so that's why his movies suck.
therealrickytan no, that's where you're wrong: Superman's superiority to Steppenwolf wasn't a writing error, it was spot on. Life isn't always fair, and sometimes the bad guys get their asses kicked. The Justice league still saved some other people or held their own while Superman saved people's lives, which if you think about it, is all everyone but Thor and Hulk did in Avengers 1. I think Thor could have eventually defeated that entire army and Loki, but NY would have been nuked. Superman is the most powerful super hero ever written. That's his thing, and that's why people love him. I would have been pissed if they made superman a bitch.
The Scarecrow1941 very good points. Hulk and Vision were basically completely written out of the story in Infinity War. But when superman bitch slapped Steppenwolf I almost shit myself.
This is my biggest complaint about JL as well. Why call it justice league when its literally just operation revive superman so he can do everything while you guys watch and are useless. Its supposed to be a teamup movie but the team is useless. Also superman couldve easily won it before the team even got there but he was dicking around with lois while the world was being conquered. Basically superman was way too op in this and made the team feel useless, which makes the movie feel pointless since it was based around the team the entire movie. It just maks the viewer wonder wtf was the point of this mess. In the animated shows superman isnt depicted this way, in the other depictions of the justice league superman isnt just completely carrying the team, the team is working together to save the day, and thats what this movie misses entirely. and thats not including the countless other blunders. Its just wrong in so many ways.
Infinity War worked because it was the product of a ten-year effort, in which Marvel carefully crafted their characters and the world around them, fleshing out origins and interweaving plotlines that would lead to a handful of smaller ensemble films that all built towards the major pay-off in the end with all their work coming to fruition. Justice League failed because it was the product of slapping together some known properties and expecting results, without the careful planning and laying the groundwork for a well-established extended universe along with failing to develop characters properly or beyond the simple dark, edgy archetype they seem to love so much.
The thing is, Marvel's way of doing things was a lot more fleshed out and allowed you to sympathize with each individual character as opposed to DC that just did things in a way that felt rushed.
Exactly, @UCRGyFrEzSdHFusuzMalve-g. When I heard about the "Thanos Didn't Do Anything Wrong" crap online I was like, "What...? Are you people really taking this movie way too seriously? Please get a life, each of you.".
Justice League failed because we got a butchered movie that was a blend of two completely different visions, that is all. And Infinity War is far from a perfect movie. You are wrong, Guardians of the Galaxy made a team up in whithin one movie, children need to stop using the "oh it was rushed" excuse as an argument. And their archetypes were certainly not "simple, dark and edgy", people love to complain but do not even understand what they watch.
I just can’t stand DC films because of the environmental CGI and colour grading. For whatever reason, DC films are always so dark (save for Wonder Woman). Even that park scene with Superman, which was supposed to take place during the day, was super dark. It was really apparent when you placed both movies side by side. Infinity War felt real and tangible, whereas Justice League felt like a video fame cutscene.
I'm in this boat. I'll be the first to whine about marvel's color grading, especially pre-GoTG2, but that doesn't excuse DC doing the same thing, but in dark grey instead of brown
"Why unite when this one guy can deal with the bad guy all by himself?" I love Superman but that's something I wonder about DC the whole time. I feel like Superman is just way too strong and the entire DCU suffers from it. It's hard to be invested in the stories of other characters when I know Superman could deal with it all if he wanted to.
I did not get the sense that Superman in the DCEU was that overpowered (for the most part), and I felt that the main problem was rather that Steppenwolf himself was way too weak, compared to prior adversaries like Zod and Doomsday. (Full thoughts below) In the DCEU, Superman did at least need Batman and Wonder Woman’s help, in order to stand a chance at beating Doomsday, since Diana’s magic-based weapons and Bruce Wayne’s weaponized Kryptonite were the only things that could really hurt the monster. When Superman was resurrected, I got the sense that most of the league members were holding back because they just wanted to have Superman come to his senses, not kill him. I imagine it is basically the same reason why Batman managed to defeat Superman head-on quite easily, in the prior movie, when Clark did not want to kill Bruce. Now I did feel like it made Flash look too useless compared to Superman, when his main defining characteristic is his super-speed, yet Superman could effortlessly keep up with him (unless this was just the result of Flash being a novice and not exerting his powers and abilities to their fullest potential). Now with Steppenwolf, his low power level was a similar problem I had with Loki and the Chitauri in the first Avengers film. Both Loki and Steppenwolf did seem like worthy threats for some of the Avengers/League, yet characters like the Hulk and Superman could pretty much turn them into rag-dolls, and the Chitauri/Parademons felt like threats that even a normal military force could fight. Therefore, I never got the feeling that either the Avengers or the Justice League could lose, and that the only real challenge was just saving as many people as they could in the middle of the battle. HOWEVER, what made me more willing to overlook this issue in the Avengers was that Loki himself was still an interesting character, who was enjoyable to watch, had that established depth and backstory with Thor, and shared some good interaction with the other Avengers. On the other hand, Steppenwolf has “mastered the ability... of being so incredibly dull... that he became invisible to the mind”. Also, Loki and the Chitauri army was still the biggest and most destructive threat faced in the MCU yet, so it was still exciting for me to see in the theaters. With the DCEU, however, we already saw Superman stop General Zod and his army of Kryptonians in his debut film, only to then follow that up by fighting Doomsday, one of his toughest opponents in DC Comics, while only needing help from Batman and Wonder Woman. Because Warner Bros. already blew a massive load with Zod and Doomsday, Steppenwolf and his army just felt like more of the same, only even easier to defeat, without the entire Justice League.
The main theme of the movie was for them to unite together to defeat an enemy, they even have that song with the come together lyrics in their trailer, then the movie comes out, and I didn't get a sense of togetherness they are trying to deliver from these promos, it just takes one person to defeat an enemy! Seriously what's the need of forming a team? Imo superman also feels too op at times for me to take a justice league team seriously, going by logic there is no need for a team formed in this dc world knowing there's a guy who is excellent in every way, and can travel back in time in case there are fuck ups, and something doesn't go his way (he has time travel power too lol), his only weakness is some rock, he is so op, and unrelatable at that I honestly found most dc characters to be so unrelatable, there is also that green lantern guy who can create anything with a magic ring, and is kinda op too, but his weakness is literally the color yellow lol
Call me a marvel shill if you want, I don't care, but the strength in marvel is that their characters are so human, and relatable, heck even their godly characters are relatable as hell there is this saying that DC heroes are gods, and people we look up to, and want to be when we were kids, but marvel heroes are like the actual mirror of us, more human with the same struggles just trying to manage their lives while given a power.
We see the big thing Drax is sitting next to in the establishing shot before Quill and Gamora have their big scene. If Drax really was standing there for an hour, it's canon that he really was imperceptible, even by an omniscient magical eye.
@@David-ro9cb There is an establishing shot that shows the whole room before Quill and Gamora have their convo. We see the whole room in a wide shot. Drax is not visible. Either he silently shuffled in mid-convo, or he actually has been standing there for an hour like he says. He only became visible when he ate the nut and they heard him. At that point he was no longer invisible, because they knew he was there, but they couldn't see him until they hear that he was there.
The 2.7 thousand dislikes is the DC Fandom being jealous of Marvel's characters, storytelling, and most importantly their C.G.I skills. Not to mention the Stan Lee cameo. R.I.P "Excelsior"
The best line I've heard about dc and marvel is that " Dc focuses on the super while marvel focuses on the hero" And thats why marvel is successful and worth experiencing
Bagel Fail Remember, Justice league shouldn’t be compared to infinity war, maybe it could be compared to the first avengers movie. If they make a Darksied war movie could be compared to infinity war
scooterthefrog Yeah I know, but it just seems like an unfair comparison considering how big infinity war was and infinity war was way better than avengers one
Everyone talks about Thanos but let's take a moment to talk about Ebony Maw. Not as good as Thanos but could potentially be a lead villain if given the chance. Every scene with him was probably my favorite parts of the movie. His voice, his powers, his personality. Other than Thanos he was a breath of fresh air
Ikr? I loved whenever he talked. He’s all matter of fact and like “rejoice for the great Thanos has saved you” but everyone’s dying or something. Can’t help but wonder, how did he become such a loyal, brainwashed minion.
If you've been labeled as "Squidward" then I don't think you could recover from that! Badass powers though. He's the only one in the Black Order who isn't a grunt who attacks in close range.
12:58 to me, the main theme was sacrifice. Every stone had the choice of a sacrifice. Loki, Xandar, Vision, Stark and, of course, Gamora. On one hand there was Cap saying that one life was too many, and on the other, Thanos throwing the person he loves the most off a cliff to 'save' the universe.
Maybe it's unfair to compare Justice League to Infinity War, maybe we should compare it to the first Avengers movie.(Though it probably still won't be much competition)
I mostly just meant that both movies are the first "everyone assemble" movies in their universes while Infinity War as the third and the climax to MCU thus far.
Actually, the Dark Knight trilogy was what doomed DCEU. Because they wanted to make Superman as dark and realistic as Batman - I call it "nolanization" of Superman. They didn't understand at all that Superman can't be dark, depressed and destroying...
Mike Dasik That honestly not even the issue. The Dark Knight trilogy are the three greatest DC films ever put on screen. The problem is that it feels like neither Zack Snyder or anyone else at DC understands what makes these characters great or what makes characters and screenplays relatable to people. When you make superman a robotic, alien, awkward piece of wood when one of the greatest points of superman is that he's extremely human despite his great powers and alien origins you know you did a lot wrong.
Eliji I don't consider Dark Knights the best Batman movies (Burton's Batman movies and Keaton himself are MUCH better; Bale is on the bottom of the list for me, only above Clooney). But yes, they were good. And I didn't say they're not. I said Snyder/WB wanted to make Superman another Batman, because DK was so successful. Hell, even Amazing Spider-Man movies tried to copy DK and gave Spidey dark quest to learn about death of his parents... The creators totally didn't understand that Superman and Spider-Man ARE NOT Batman. Batman can be dark. He is darkness itself, the darkest hero ever created. He is personification of fear. And Gotham is the city without daylight, with eternal night. But Superman should be in contrast with him, not his copy in colorful (even if desaturated of colors) clothes. He should be personification of optimism and hope.
@@dasik84 Batman is only dark because of Frank Miller, a Marvel writer that took his Daredevil experience and applied it to Batman when he began to work for DC. Even so Batman is not the darkest hero created, that easily goes to the Punisher, possibly even Moon Knight. Honestly Batman is a lot of what's wrong with DC. They have spent so many years focusing on Batman that they don't know how to properly utilize their other characters anymore. They have become lazy and Batman has become their Golden Goose that they feel like they don't have to put in any effort anymore. Just make everything fucking like Batman. That's why no other DC heroes get good movies and that's why no other DC heroes get good video games with real investment budgets behind them. Another problem is that DC is ashamed of the heritage of these heroes. Either that or the directors are. They apply their basic Hollywood mentality and feel like they don't have to care much about source material, after all that's for bunch of dorks and children right? Well that's what DC allows Snyder to think. I'll just read a couple comic books and add a little bit of The Transporter or Taken, and I should have a hit. That's how Zack Snyder thinks. Also it was too late for Justice League movie after Snyder and DC destroyed Superman's image. Man of Steel had that hope and positivity and tried to make Superman human. However because people are stupid they didn't understand that movie, so Snyder abandoned it. So Snyder picks tacky ass Dark Knight Returns as the motivation for his next movie and completely destroys Superman's image. Gone is the powerful and near godly figure fighting for good, here comes now this weak and unwilling Superman that is tired of humans. Superman is made to appear helpless to an old guy in a cosplay outfit after handling a platoon of kryptonians on his own.. Of course that's alright because Batman is popular. Who cares if we fuck over other characters. As long as we appeal to the ignorant fanboys that don't know anything about his character nor do they read or purchase comic books. Let's allow our Golden Goose to lay another egg oh, wait are you telling me that the motivations and personality of one hero doesn't apply to others? Wow. I wonder how well Batman would have appeared on screen had Snyder picked up Lex Luthor: Man of Steel or Red Son instead of Dark Knight Returns. Would the fans be happy to see Batman brought to his knees begging for his life or forced to kill himself out of fear. Well that's pretty much what they did for Superman, because no one else is allowed to matter in DC Comics but Batman. The MCU succeeds most importantly because Kevin Feige and the Russo Brothers *care* about these characters. They aren't just phoning in a script or destroying one character to make another look good. They care about consistency, and they care about these characters motivations and how they interact with the world and each other.
I agree with absolutely everything you've written except the very first paragraph. I don't think Punisher is a hero, he's antihero like Deadpool, just much less funny. So I didn't count him on the list. And I don't know Moon Knight well, so I can't judge him.
@@trevorphilips9065 And as movies Infinity War actually progresses the MCU while Justice League simply feels like it filled the "Team-Up" slot in cinematic universes.
That's what pissed me off, they could've easily had Darkseid as the main villain, but instead it's some dude who I've never heard about whose related to Darkseid. Who the fuck is Steppenwolf?
But ... but ... but - Infinity War DIDN'T have one consistent Vision! He changed his appearance twice - once from human to android and once from android to dead.
The ultimate failing of Justice League is it shows Superman could handle the entire situation single handedly and calls into question why they would need the Justice League at all thus negating the any reason to make more movies.
Batman defeating Superman has nothing to do with whether or not Superman can save the by himself. As proof, please name an enemy in Justice League that is even challenging to Superman.
Trevor Philips - Superman being Superman has always been a huge issue Justice League stories have ignored or contrived away. Hell even Wonder Woman seems to not need the Justice League very much.
@Francisco A G No, Vision isn't Jarvis. Vision is a combination of Jarvis, Ultron, Mind Stone, as well as Tony Stark and Hulk's collective consciousness
Big difference is the comedic moments. In Marvel the jokes are more subtle & are seamless to the story. And are actually funny. DC follows the Star Wars comedy theme. Simplistic & silly on the level of fart jokes for three year olds. The choice of actors is far superior as well. Marvel gets good actors that are baby faces while DC just goes for baby faces that can’t act.
Difference is in the characters. Most of the MCU cast can laugh, has gotten their demons behind them, it´s in character to kid. Iron Man is never seen NOT being sarcastic, the guy always jokes, established and canonized. Spidey is a teenager with no big trauma behind, joking is to be expected. Captain America has few quips, but more restrained as he grew more grumpy. Look at the DCEU, Batman should not EVER joke in the position he is. (the dude is on murderous rampages against crime, sure he can laugh?) Superman is seen to either be thinking, sobbing or fighting, not much fun there. (good thing he didnt kid around) Cyborg is a depressed Teen, turned into a cyborg by a space Lunchbox. (He never was too happy) DCs cast should stay more dark and gritty, instead of being forced to joke and fool around, it´s just out of character and stupid if they are.
In my opinion, Justice League didn’t seem like it did anything new. It felt like a marvel film from phase 1 but without the effort or charm. Infinity War even though it shares similarities to Avengers and Age of Ultron, it did enough to differentiate itself from any other Marvel film and doesn’t feel like every superhero team up movie like X-men apocalypse.
While I don’t think Justice is a complete piece dogshit, if you think about the “Justice League movie” we were all waiting for it doesn’t come close, it’s not even really a good movie it’s just an okay 2 hours in a theater, it doesn’t have any real memorable moments, the characters aren’t engaging, half the time they don’t feel like actual characters, the movie itself has no identity, I mean this was suppose to be “JUSTICE LEAGUE” and instead it was just “juStIce LEaguE”, but if you look at Infinity War, that was a movie that delivered on its promise in every possible way given the expectations we all had
Trevor Philips because even the Mcu’s 5th year did it way better and at a time when no one believed in what they were trying to accomplish, I hear people all the time babying JL for only being the first teamup compared to infinity war but it doesn’t matter, if it had simply been a good movie or at least a good payoff it could’ve been compared to Infinity War as a teamup movie, but it wasn’t
jayyTeęe s You know the Avengers exist right so why not compare it to the 1st film and no it make 0 sense to compare the 10 year build up where you know every character to people you are starting to know.
Trevor Philips ok fine, well compared to *Avengers(2012)* it’s still 2 hours of meh at the theater, with flat characters, a really disappointing payoff and nothing really that memorable other than Henry’s fake upper lip
Infinity war had a great villan, JL had that monstorsity which was quite shallow. In order to have a great superhero movie you need great villain....thats why Batman trilogy was so good.
Exactly. All of 3 Nolan Batman films had a great villain(s). Ras al guhl, Scarecrow, Joker, and Bane! All of them did well in their films and all are beloved! As much as I love Marvel "Superheros", I will always, ALWAYS get more pleasure into a great villain! Darth Vader is my favorite Villain of all time. You know why? Funny thing is, I really dont need to explain why.
Camo King360 Yeah but its also the dramatic music that plays when he talks about his plan and he has the most saddest backstory ever I mean his parents didn't even show up for his birth.
People tend to forget Two-Face in the TDK trilogy since Heath's Joker was so awesome. Everything from the burnt look to the disjointed view of justice through his coin flips made Harvey's transformation so great.
Marvel also spent more time building up to Avengers than DCEU spent building up to Justice League, and had stronger lead up films, and the characters feel more real.
One thing i don't see mentioned a lot, and it's one out of many reasons why Justice League freaking sucks balls, is that in Infinity War there's hope. The entire movie you feel that the heroes can actually beat Thanos. Sure, maybe you think it should be clear they can't beat him once you put some thought into it; sure, he is indeed _very_ strong and each stone makes him even stronger; but it never _FEELS_ like he is invincible. He gets a new stone, we think "oh well, it's done now" and then we see the heroes actually making an effort that looks to be working. On the other hand, in Justice League, it is established - way too early, by the way - that nobody besides Superman has a slight chance against Steppenwolf. Every time Steppenwolf is on screen - except for the scenes after Superman shows up, obviously - he's kicking _EVERYBODY_ 's ass with ease. He's not even struggling. They can't "make him bleed", they can't make him have to change his plans on the spot, nothing of that. He just moves them out of his way like pebbles and does his thing. Which makes it even worse once Superman gets his shot at Steppenwolf and we see that it's a fucking breeze. He can deal with the big baddie with a single hand. God, that movie fucking sucks...
Which ends up doubly terrible because this is supposed to be a team movie. In a team up movie you need Superman to solve all your problems for you. Just why?
The scene where - after abandoning the battle - he appears lifting a whole building full of people just to show the size of his dick to poor boy Flash who's so happy for saving a family - that shit made me shout "are you kidding me?" so loud in the theaters, i almost got up and left right then and there.
elevate07 And then Captain Marvel shows up and wrecks Thanos then the MCU fans are like "It was amazing and such a masterpiece how Captain Marvel defeated Thanos in a second"
Thanos + Josh Brolin combination made me want to watch 18 Marvel movies right before the Endgame premiere and became a fan of the MCU which I thought would never happen as I actually thought that the movies are dumb and way out of my taste for cinema. Thank you Thanos :D
I know it's been almost a year, but I won't let it go. I'll never let it go. Never forget, never forgive.
hey you can make broccoli tasteful if you soy sauce on it and believe me it taste good
Now that bit at the end, with Peter Parker dying at the thought of Tony banging his aunt? That was just wrong, dude...lol.
funny because in real life Robert Downey jr and Marisa Tomei used to date
You had me dying on the 6 years and Thanos dancing part! XD
The Snyder cut would have been so much better
wait i just realised JL lied to us:in the poster it says "You cant save the world alone" but in the end Superman comes in and soloes Steppenwolf
Well that was exactly the message "You cant save the world alone... unless you're Superman"
Lmao Ikr 😂, I might have to tear mine down now.
#ReleaseTheSnyderCut
Well, YOU can't, but HE can!
First avenger: can make Chris Evans actually look believably skinny
Justice League: can’t even cover up a moustache
Thin Steve Rogers wasn't Chris Evans.
@An Gia they managed to make it believable. It was his face, on an actor's body.
An Gia most of the time it was him, they’ve shrunk his body. Look for the movie behind the scenes for more info.
They made Chris Evans look like a pre pubescent boy, that was a thing of nightmares.
An Gia what so ever it was better than the mustache dumbass
Infinity War: washed, cleaned, prepped, seasoned, marinated, cooked, garnished, cooled, served, blessed, enjoyed.
Justice League: microwaved.

Why did you marinate after cooking it?
🤣🤣
You cook it first before marinating?
Chicken Nugget did you just copy my comment but in a better version?
Thanos: loves his adopted daughter more than anything.
Stephenwolf: loves his mommy boxes
I'm 60% sure that there was a magic trick in which the box that his mom was in was cut in thirds and now she needs to be put together
*Stephenwolf*
I'm a big fan of mother's boxes, as long as they aren't my own mother 🧐
Not more than the soul stone I tell you
5:36 "he has less personality than Thanos' henchmen, and I'm pretty sure one of them doesn't even speak."

3. Corvius Glave
4. The blue girl (please forgive me for forgetting her name)

ngl, I've enjoyed ebony maw's 3 minutes screen time than steppenwolf throughout the entire movie
I loved that Thanos was the main character in Infinity War. He had logic, history, emotion and lots of screen time. Great call by the directors.

f89ry7 PS4 scared to kill people? Did we watch the same-
XxxIdgaf Ya. The movie where he could’ve easily have killed everyone is Wakanda but didn’t want to.
f89ry7 PS4 his goal was to kill half the universe. He didn’t care about the people in Wakanda. After he did what he wanted he left.
XxxIdgaf That plan doesn’t make sense in the first place. I’m pretty sure you have heard the complaints but the universe will repopulate in a few years to the way it was. Plus him doing it for a “good” reason makes him less scary than in the comments

The biggest reason, Marvel spent 10 years setting up the payoff of Infinity War, and DC tried to play catch up as fast as possible, instead of laying the groundwork.
J.J. Kuchenmeister So just trying to fit in that's pathetic DC doesn't even make their own movies
It’s Marvel constructing a building on a solid foundation vs DC trying to build an entire house on naught but a bunch of loose dirt.
Yeah you see how lazily Doomsday was just plopped in at the last second. These studios really think people are that shallow lol.
A. Morphous yep dc sucks they build giant house on sand
Infinity War was the dessert of a long three course meal on Thanksgiving night.
Justice League was a snickers bar.
That's honestly a disservice to snicker bars.
F1rsttime_online Can't compare those films
Trevor Philips he did
Bahahah

I love thanos, and i enjoyed killmonger but nobody gives enough credit to Vulture. Vulture was honestly such a good villain, he was both brutal, relatable, intimidating and commanded so much presence in his scenes
Right. I feel like people just forget about Homecoming, and Vuluture was the best part of the whole film. Underrated.
Ego - GotG vol. 2, Vulture - Homecoming, Hela - Ragnarok, Kilmonger - Black Panther were all good viliians pre Thanos imo.
@Sergio Ramirez lol...man traveled all through the galaxy dropping his baby batter off in every woman he could find
I thought it was funny that he was revealed to be a dedicated man whore back in his hey day. The shit about killing unworthy offspring and Quill's mom...not so much.
Yeee
"And it features Spiderman, which never hurts"
*Gets hit with a billboard*
I swear to god, I read this as soon as it was saying it
I started giggling like an idiot because of that smack sound effect
Easy answer,
Marvel planned their path
Marvel got writes that knew the characters
Marvel established the characters before bringing them together
Marvel stroke a good balance between seriousness and comedy. Sometimes too much comedy but decent balance none the less.
Warner Bros did nothing of the sort bar Aquaman and Wonder Woman.
I'm a DC fan but Marvel studios just did everything better
the amount of comedy was perfect in wonder woman, as expected from a war movie, they only used jokes in times people would joke in real life
Here’s the order that should’ve released the DCEU movies after Man of Steel.
1. Man of Steel
2. The Batman
3. A proper Man of Steel sequel
4. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice
5. Wonder Woman
6. Aquaman
7. The Flash
8. Cyborg
9. Justice League.
@@tiagodarkpeasant I'll agree with this. As a Marvel guy personally, I thoroughly loved Wonder Woman. That was just such a great film.
SuperJackster01 That’s what DC SHOULD’VE done. That and get a better villain than fucking Stephenwolf and not make the plot a poor man’s Avengers.
The cgi of Thanos is waaaaaaaaay better that the one of Steppenwolf who seems coming from a PS2 game...

They shouldn't have introduced an all-CG villain until they were given the budget for it. More things that WB rushed because they just NEEDED to "catch up" to a series that started 4-5 years before them and makes twice the number of movies in a year
And way better than Will Smith’s Genie
Thanos looked real, couldn’t even tell it was cgi it looked that good lol
You made some valid points but you missed the biggest reason why Marvel succeeds and DC doesn't... Marvel is more patient. That's right. Marvel built up to infinity war for a decade, starting with Iron Man. DC did very little character building. They should have had a Flash movie. They should have had a Cyborg movie or two. They should have sat down and planned out every movie before shooting the first movie. That's the truth.
Now that you've mentioned it, I'm surprised it wasn't brought up as it is a common point I've seen brought up in comment threads.
I always thought that. They just threw the characters in there, like hey here you go have fun.

Im sayin bro Ebony Mau was gangsta..
Yeah, that was just cold.
I don't think he was. Ebony Maw had more characterization in 5 minutes of screentime in Infinity War than Steppenwolf had in all of Justice League.
Andhika Bayu Trimulya
Yeah that was one of my major problems as well, the fact that Superman was SO much better than everyone else, just felt like everyone were useless next to him.
The Thanos cameos were weaved in very nicely over the course of the plot and the important thing was how early on Marvel introduced him. It raised awareness among the movie goers and allowed those who aren't into comics that much to do some homework and see what to expect.
this video is better than justice league

I think another key reason that Just League doesn't work is the characters have very little in relation to each other. In endgame, a lot of the characters had already built up relationships through several separate movies and had history and a reason to fight togethor.

you can thank the pointless reshoots for that
Mini Panini far less known than Aquaman and clearly far weaker. She’d never be able to handle Steppenwolf how Aquaman and Wonder Woman did although her mace does do major damage. I’m a big fan of Shayera but she would work better with Batman against the Parademons since she’s about their level of strength and can fly too.

I always kind of found it funny that people always stated that Marvel had a villain problem, yet they had one great villain and a couple acceptable villains up until the third phase, where they had an explosion of villains.
Well Marvel only did the movies as a way to make money... they were bankrupt. But yeah WB is just shitting on DC for the money.
Also ROTK is the 🐐
Justin Aguilar
I mean, ofc they're doing it for the money, they're a business, that's how businesses work, but at least Marvel were smart enough to actually do it properly.

AVENGERS took 10 years and 15 movies before infinity war. Properly introduced every character. And slowly built it's roster, and the big reason. THEY FOLLOWED THE COMIC BOOK SOURCE MATERIAL! (Mostly)
Justice League was a rushed project with 3 independent movies before it. Wonder Woman was really the only good one. Man of steel was decent, BVS was trash. Plus, no Hawkgirl, Green Lantern, or Martian Manhunter. The real real villians of the DCEU are the writers, and the CGI team.
Martian manhunter is my favorite dc character since I was like 4, i hate that DC removed him from being a foundator of the league :c

They build up for 10 yrs it's coz their characters didn't have strong story line and a hand full of comic book reference and majorly many of the charecters are ripped of from dc, DC comics have perfect and strong story line that's why just the animated series was so good which followed the comic books accurately.

I think Tony went to face Thanos head on because he want to limit possible damage to the planet, not because he still has some beef with Capt.
PRECISELY THIS
Also, specifically because, as he mentions, 'Thanos has been inside [his] head for six years.' He's tired of waiting.
No its because he has been haunted by Thanos since the First Avengers. They literally say it in the movie.
Y'all are stupid. He literally spells it out saying "I dont know if its better to fight him on our turf of his but if we hit him there he wont be expecting it." dude's tryna get a surprise attack at purple 4head man and it nearly works
Marvel really set up their universe, DC just mashed it together imo.
If they follow the comics out now, they'll do well.
hi

Infinity War > Justice League for many reasons, but here's one that stuck out to me:
Thor = is the strongest Avenger, and is a GOD.
@@chrisb6049 Superman's flaws = Martha, Lois Lane and Kryptonite
therealrickytan no, that's where you're wrong: Superman's superiority to Steppenwolf wasn't a writing error, it was spot on.

I did not get the sense that Superman in the DCEU was that overpowered (for the most part), and I felt that the main problem was rather that Steppenwolf himself was way too weak, compared to prior adversaries like Zod and Doomsday.
(Full thoughts below)
In the DCEU, Superman did at least need Batman and Wonder Woman’s help, in order to stand a chance at beating Doomsday, since Diana’s magic-based weapons and Bruce Wayne’s weaponized Kryptonite were the only things that could really hurt the monster.
Imo superman also feels too op at times for me to take a justice league team seriously, going by logic there is no need for a team formed in this dc world knowing there's a guy who is excellent in every way, and can travel back in time in case there are fuck ups, and something doesn't go his way (he has time travel power too lol), his only weakness is some rock, he is so op, and unrelatable at that
I honestly found most dc characters to be so unrelatable, there is also that green lantern guy who can create anything with a magic ring, and is kinda op too, but his weakness is literally the color yellow lol
Call me a marvel shill if you want, I don't care, but the strength in marvel is that their characters are so human, and relatable, heck even their godly characters are relatable as hell
there is this saying that DC heroes are gods, and people we look up to, and want to be when we were kids, but marvel heroes are like the actual mirror of us, more human with the same struggles just trying to manage their lives while given a power.

He was a seriously underrated villain and a genuine threat. He also seemed to have the most personality out of the whole black order.

Avengers 1 is considered one of the best comic book-based movies ever. Not even Infinity War has that sort of recognition yet.
HEK NO Twighlight is better than JL
Good point.
I mostly just meant that both movies are the first "everyone assemble" movies in their universes while Infinity War as the third and the climax to MCU thus far.
Create one of the best superhero trilogies in history only to then forget it happened and get blown by the competition. DC in a nutshell.
Eliji
I don't consider Dark Knights the best Batman movies (Burton's Batman movies and Keaton himself are MUCH better; Bale is on the bottom of the list for me, only above Clooney).

(the dude is on murderous rampages against crime, sure he can laugh?)
Superman is seen to either be thinking, sobbing or fighting, not much fun there.

jayyTeęe s It had memorable moments and why compare Mcu 10 year build up to DCEU 5th movie

15:22 I never thought I needed "wake me up inside" played by kazoos until this moment
At first thought it was friends theme
