Agreed the role of advisors can only be overlooked, but not denied. I remember in early 2020, during covid-outbreak, my portfolio worth around $300k took a slight fall, apparently due to the pandemic crash, at once I consulted an advisor in order to avoid panic-selling. As of today, my account has yielded big fat yields, and leverages on 7-figure, only cos I delegate my excesses right.

I can answer why you see such a wealth gap in India.. In capitalism, first the rich one get rich, then the next layer, and next layer. So yes, India is at an inflection point where income inequality is high. But as they will grow their business, startup ecosystem boosts, Manufacturing booms.. The gap will reduce and personal wages will grow like the ones in china today. China also had tremendous wealth inequality in the 2000s. China's GDP as a share of world in 2000 was same as India in 2023.

Wow - this guy really speaks to me. I came to realize many of his views on my own and thought It was just me. I too experienced the "it's happening" thing when I went ti India for the first time and traveled about. That mysterious connection like I'm comfortable here and want to be part of this place and culture. India was an arresting experience for me more than any other place I've been.

And shout out to you Max for asking some absolutely amazing questions brother! This was a beautiful video to watch. I've never lived in Mumbai but been there for a few days on two occasions. On each occasion I've felt the yearning to be a part of Mumbai. The same happened when I spent about a year in Paris for postgraduate study. It was very cold but as soon as I was settled in, I felt the same. I agree with the author, I've been to other European cities and not felt the same. It is the happy feeling of being there and part of life there.

IST is definitely a real thing, perhaps best characterized by the ubiquitous Indian phrase "Just now coming." For a Western person who is used to everything running on to-the-minute schedules it's quite a patience-building exercise.

He has hit the nail on the head. "the moment you say you are the greatest country" you are finished. We in India are on the verge of ruin because the last 10 years we have had leaders who are saying the same thing. We better watch out or else we are doomed. We have to stop this trend before its too late!!!!
