I don’t know too many people that can clearly inconscisely explain themselves as much as you have done on this video! Thank you so very much very relatable and understandable! Great video!
Thanks! My son just got his first bike and sadly the first time he rode it he got a flat by a goathead thorn -_-, gonna buy some slime this weekend to fix it, your video helped me understand it nicy thanks!!
I'm an avid youth bike rider and this is definitely going to help me cut down on flats!! Thank you so much for the easy step by step and the video!!!💯🚴🏿♂💨
i installed this on my fat tire ebike yesterday 26x4 and slimes website calculator said i needed 12,5 oz per tire, i had a 32 oz bottle so i just put 16 in each, the bottle did say to shake 30 seconds vigorously for 30 seconds before installing. i didnt have any flats but being the ebike is 70+ lbs i am betting prevention is better than cure
I use it on all my bikes , I just put it in so it is ready in case I get a puncture whilst out riding, it seals it before tyre goes down so just keep riding.
Mine clogged in both tires… very depressing says clean with a wet qtip but then the Cotton at the end broke off in the tube… 😞 I’m tired and sad just got the bike yesterday only 6 miles before a flat happened…. I’m thinking to just replace the tubes at a bike shop
From what I have seen it does not unless it reaches the air where the hole is. So in the tire it is in liquid form to seal the next hole that comes up.
No,and there's chunks of rubber in it thatt continually block the hole forced by the air pressure.and I believe it only works on the portion of the tube that contacts the tire side not the rim side because gravity and centrifugal force allways forcing it to the outer tire side.
Great video, far better than 'Tool Dude',you did everything right with the Tyre and Tube, except you forgot to remove the sealant from top of the bottle, otherwise, 5**
You didn't show the part where the slime just pours out the hole in your tire and goes all over the floor while sealing nothing (I later took the tire off and the hole is tiny). Oh and the "tool" broke off immediately.
Im a lazy 70 yr old and I fixed the flat first. THen I would use slime as a backup. It only takes one hole to leak like a bitch. Hey GReat closeups bro!
I am not sure what you are asking. I rotated the tire the way the instructions stated. There is no time limit specified. I decided about 5 minutes to make sure the slime was evenly distributed. storage.googleapis.com/slime-com/uploads/10003_8oz_Tube_instructions0.pdf
Does it stay a liquid or not !!? What is wrong with you people !!? Nobody could give me a simple answer !! Does it harden under 2 years or stays a liquid after you put it in !!!????
Hello, I am not sure why you are coming here acting like I did something wrong before first asking me. All the information you are looking for can be found on the manufacturers website. www.slime.com/us/faq-details.php?id=17 None of what you are asking I feel was required information in this video. They are good questions to know answers to but not relevant.
@@HowToWithJames HEY! do I need a particular driver for my Alesis V49 keyboard?! What's wrong with you people. No one will give me a direct answer!! I mean, I know I never even asked you a single question regarding it but still!! What the heck, man!!

This was the simplest video and it was so helpful. It was easy to seal the tires with confidence. Thank you for such a great instructional video.
Excellent explanation of how to use slime on a bike tyre. Especially exactly how to remove the valve stem. 5 stars!

The best video by far! Ty for this! When you dont have a man, you go to youtube 😂
Thank you. This was so helpful!
Can you put this in a good tube, and just leave it in the tube in case you get a puncture?
Yes, you can. That's one of the ways to use it.
Thank you, very helpful

How much is the slime mixture
Slime 10003 Tube Sealant, 8 oz. - amzn.to/36hSlpB
It's also listed in the video description.

Side of bottle shows 4oz mark. Thanks for video.
would you only use the slime to fix a flat tire or can I use the slime to prevent future flats?
You can use it for both.
How do you know when its full of slime?
Does the slime ever dry?
From what I have seen it does not unless it reaches the air where the hole is. So in the tire it is in liquid form to seal the next hole that comes up.
@@HowToWithJames thank you so much for the answer !!! My god nobody says if it dries or not !!!!

so does this actually work?
Thanks brotha 👍
In my local store sell said that can use only with brand new tube. Is that true, or he just trying to sell me tube ?
Thanks.. i needed jelp
Thank you
I'm in the UK it says 4oz, is that per tyre?
For a bicycle tire, yes. One bottle does 2 tires.
Ty was really helpful
'i don't know what it's called, slime?' lol
Thank you!!
I wasn't able to take the valve part of it's like if the clip wasn't able to grab onto it.
You are awesome 🤠😎
Great video, far better than 'Tool Dude',you did everything right with the Tyre and Tube, except you forgot to remove the sealant from top of the bottle, otherwise, 5**

Also make sure it isn't expired

You’re supposed to spin for 5 mins !? Why nobody says these things ?

I've had it in my tyres for over 2 years and it's still liquid and doing its job.
Do you have to deflate the inner tube completely before you apply?
Thank you
thank you
