    I am continually blown away by the number of athletes who lack basic flexibility. These five preview/sample exercises are great! This is the kind of stuff I do a lot in my own training.

    I’ve been doing a Russian style/training method for several years and we use a lot of Russian dance to work on our flexibility. That exercise you do around 3:19 is almost exactly like something we do in class. It’s really awesome to see that some exercises are just universal like that.

    • @kiltymackilterson7489
      @kiltymackilterson7489 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rb-oo5mz I’m not sure what it’s called, or even if it’s considered a dance on its own, but it’s pretty much the same thing Jesse does, except we drop the knee of our extended leg (his right leg when he starts) to the floor, then when we shift our weight to the other leg we switch our knees so the other knee is on the floor.

    Jesse, Thank you so much for motivating and keeping up the inspiration through this difficult time. I take all of your tips and implement them into my training. I myself have also been working hard to try and bring out content focused around home training for martial arts specific strength training as well as high-intensity workouts and Kyokushin Karate videos. You have really inspired me through this mate! Id really appreciates everyone's feedback on how it is and what else people find useful to keep up the motivation to train through this time. Help spread the love, smash that subscribe and like button and subscribe to Jesse’s channel guys, he is a truly inspirational guy!! Keep up the grind.

    Great videos Jesse - thank you so much. I've been watching your videos for years now. Do you think it's possible to achieve a full splits at the age of 55? I've been practicing karate since age 13 and have very good flexibility and mobility, but have never been able to do the splits. I introduced PNF a few years ago and have had a great increase in flexibility. Do you think there's an age where you just don't improve anymore?
