Quite an adventure first what was Jason getting lined up for what does it mean when the shed is chewed when you glass up do you get a coordinate and that pack looked heavy how much weight and since you're out there by yourself are you armed because I would be lol thanks kray
Jason was lined up for an area that is closed to shed hunting until a certain date. It’s near a feeding ground for elk so lots and lots of antlers. But TONS of people line up for the opening day.
Sheds get chewed on by coyotes, porcupines, squirrels etc. so the times and bases of the antlers will be physically chewed. We will sometimes try to mark the location where we think it is on our mapping app. But a lot of times we just make mental notes where it is and try to walk to it that way (which doesn’t always work out 😂)
I’m not sure on the weight but I had a lot of water, the spotting scope and tripod and some emergency/stuff for if I have to stay the night out there for some reason.
I didn’t pack my pistol on this trip. But I did take bear spray (on episode 2 I spray myself in the face with it 🙄🙄🙄 by accident of course… it was not fun lol)

@@MTN_BUILT thanks I ask a lot of questions generally it's just my nature lol and here in Mississippi I carry everywhere I just had a concern what may be out there and these sheds must really be a big deal I just didn't realize but I learn quickly thanks kray

Yeah! We deleted our other channel and moved everything over to this channel, just to keep things simple (We used to keep hunting and horse content separate). But from here on out this is where we’ll be posting everything from horses and mules, to hunts, to shed hunting 😊
