Simple everyday life: Decorating a 65 sqm/ 700 sqft 3-room HDB apartment flat using cheap props

- Decorating a 3 room HDB flat for sales.
Took leave on Friday to help my friend decorated and staged her 3-room HDB flat (65sqm/700 sqft apartment) for photoshoot because she is selling it. First time doing this for someone else since I had only experience in decorating my own house. We reused many props throughout the whole house for the decoration and work around the existing furnitures and fixtures. Most of the props are from Taobao, IKEA and Daiso. We always went for the cheaper versions if there’s one. Just get the cheap stuff! On hindsight, I should have reuse the throw for the master bedroom bed and also the paintings for the bedroom walls but oh well. It’s still a fun project nevertheless.
P.S. - The flat has been successfully sold, yay! (updated on 5 Nov 2020)

Well done with the staging! Good choice with the props which go really well with the existing carpentry, which look very well maintained. It has a nice and clean look that will appeal to a larger segment of prospective buyers. Unlike many I have seen on Propertyguru, this flat actually looks like it wants to be sold!

Nice transformation. Good that the house was left in a clean state for easier work. Side note, I think u need to transplant the seedling to a larger pot. Looks outgrown

The rooms floor tiles are the old types terrazzo kind? The entire deco comes together well and looks modern!

The small fake potted plants are from IKEA. They come in sets of 3 for $9.90.
