Oh yeah! I bet you could do some really cool stuff with this in there! We also have a true metal epoxy with real metal and it polishes amazing! It hasn’t launched on our website just yet but you can always order it with a tech rep 970-639-9338.
We typically use mdf seal it and flood coat the epoxy makes it water resistant. Give our office a call for any questions as we have different products for different situations 970-639-9338
I'm wondering about using this for a shower base. Would it maintain the slope towards the drain, or would it level out like other epoxy and mess up the draining?
Hey great question. Our wall epoxy is like a peanut butter consistency so it is meant to be trowel and won’t self level. Give our office a call for more info 970-639-9338.
Is it possible to get it perfectly smooth? If you were going for a full slab of marble type look... and if so, how do you smooth it perfectly (sanding, etc)? Thanks!
@@chalklinecrossfit8999 You can but don't have too. If you chose not too you'd of course have to use more epoxy since those joints are adding square footage to the total. The epoxy may bond better to the grout coat depending on what you used compared to the tile.
Could you use a roller for the last coat to make it smoother?
Love it how long total work time do you have
How to prepare a brick wall or concrete wall for applying epoxy?
Can clear epoxy be applied on wall paper?

You sPray isopropic alcohol to make plaster workable, softer?
It kind of acts like a lubricant when troweling for a smooth even finish
I'd like to demo the existing tile in my bathroom. What would be a good waterproof (or water resistant) substrate to use? Would cement board work?

Yes you nailed it you can sand it smooth for a matte or polished finish or by being very precise when troweling
@@SupplyHaus1775 if you were doing this over existing tile, would you have to do a skim coat first to fill the grout joints?
@@chalklinecrossfit8999 Yes we have a process for pouring over tile check out our pouring of tile video or give us a call 970-639-9338.
