So, i notice with the thickening agent it doesn’t flatten out as well, if you were to use a torch could you get it flatter than with the trowel ?
I like the vertical blinds color design application It looks good
This is great - love your enthusiasm for what you do and you explain all the little nuances, which is helpful for us "newbies". I'd like to see you do a complete tub/shower surround and also how to do a shower from scratch - what is needed in terms of water proofing, if anything? Could I make a shower out of plywood? ~ Nancy
Oh wow, I'm so glad I found your videos! I enjoy learning new things and you make it look so easy. Sure it is, just follow directions. I can see my husband, "oh no, here we go again!" Lol This is really nice.
If I were to do this to my shower, would it work over caulk? Can I use the same epoxy on the floor as the walls? Can I use normal cleaners to clean the shower that has been coated in epoxy?
Your stuff is great. Very beautiful. Keep up the good work.
Mike...do you still use heat to pop the bubbles on the vertical application??
Hi nice work bro,I want to ask if can use that for swimming pool?
I need to see this done on vertical wall tile!!
Justin Smudde not gonna happen bro. If you notice his new videos they involve you making the panel on the flat surface and then installing them after. This technique is just trash
Excellent !!! I've watch all your videos & they're all great & informative specially the technique. Please show more. Thanks.

would this work on concrete walls? I have a bathroom in my basement made out of concrete and I think this would be cool.
I’m starting a new project this month for my kitchen and I’m gonna try this on one of the walls. Have to order the vertical wall stuff and we’ll see 😊 be back soon. Well hopefully soon 👍🏽 I love that it’s still shiny ❤
So, on a vertical service, with the thickened epoxy, there is no air bubbles that need to be torched out?
OH, this man is so talented, just LOVE what he does !
Thank you so much! What is your favorite video my friend?🙌
Is the thickener a toxic stuff? Thank you!
We use Cabosill powder as our thickening powder, be sure to wear a respirator when working with this thickener as it is very light and harmful to breath in!
@@StoneCoatCountertops Thank's again!
@@StoneCoatCountertops do I need this additive for just doing a backsplash. I want to redo some countertops, with a backsplash so that water cant go between splash and top....
honestly i'm blown away ur sharing secret sauce right now i'm not to interior decorative designed inclined but i do hardwood flooring n ive never seen this done or in any homes for the 10 yrs i been sanding floors n coating. i'm from ohio and no one does this but great share man. i'm sure theres a few companies and a one man ad guy that offer this product design. Man i'm bout to epoxt seal my garage basement finally n the walls are concrete blocks prolly take too much to level out i think ill just roll on n smear like the metallic floor thks again never ending thoughts are blowing my minds whats possible.
I would like to try this in my small kitchen over the sink and stove. Could I do it over 2 pieces of plywood laying flat and then just raise the boards into place and glue them into place over my sink and counters? What thickness plywood wood you recommend and how to attach it to the exiting wall without nailing into the finish?
Great question Lena! You will pour your walls as they lay flat and add any design you wish. We like to use ¾” MDF Our free video training's show many options and color choices. The effects are truly limitless. After the walls are dry and the drips are removed by sanding, you can install the shower panels using 100% silicone as an adhesive. I love your voice , I love your personality, and I loooove your tutorials!! You are a master and make it look so easy. I've watched others, but they do not do all the steps you do for a flawless finish. THX
very exciting. you could literally sell these on online galleries for good money. i'll have to check this out. the trowel idea alone is good info. i've seen this done with oil paint. could be pricey but buyers exist. maybe i should keep it a secret lol.
More wall videos please! For the inspiration and techniques. I volunteer my walk in shower that was done by a blind DIYer. A huge step to climb over, uneven floor mosaics and mismatched wall tiles over the whole 3/4 bath! I'd be tempted to let you do the whole room! LOL LOL
can this product be torched as well to blend the colors and achieve a smoother surface? Or will it just have a slate-like texture?
I haven't had the chance to work with your product, but I will in the near future. as an Artist I have some great ideas that could do with this product and technique. great job. Stone Coat.
To get the ledges, lines, edges from troweling you could wait for it to harden then sand it flat & buff it? - Auto body guy here...
Good job Mike. I just my vertical kit today. Cant wait to use it
Please do more training on this product
We will have another vertical wall training video coming soon, stay tuned Linda Stoops! What colors are you interested in?
Thank you Various shades of grey and rust
Awesome I love all your videos!
I want too do this in the shower so bad!
Question: i have been waiting for this application. Now, can i add this to a tub surround to change it up and do i need to do anything special prior to application.??
jean morris did u use mdf?
Of all TH-cam videos I seen, then yours the best. Thanks a lot
do you chop it and torch it also just like a counter top. didn't hear anything about that in this process...
Good question
I REALLY LIKE THIS GUY AND HIS VIDEOS - BEST WISHES!!!
I want to see you do a vertical white or black marble.
Cynthia Gabriel yea...yea...yea!!!!
Love that you have product for vertical walls! I would like to see it in some different colors though and a demonstration of it over tile...please???
Do a bathtub please!!!!
Yes, please do a tub. I need this and I'm sure tons of people do too. It's obvious you have loads of experience and clearly started this adventure not really knowing what you were doing but now that you are an expert I'm sure you can lead the way. BTW this new product is a serious game changer, looks soooo amazing.
StoneCoatCountertops it'd be great if you tried, my master bath has an ugly matching 1990s blue faux marble vanity, jacuzzi tub, and stand up shower. I'd kill to cover it in this stuff.
A bath would be fantastic
Yes, pretty please!!! :)
Best thing to do with a bathtub is tear it out.
Vertical wall FANTASTIC looks like meditation where I am from thankyou.
Wait... 2 questions. Do you still torch at the end? And why you say no veins? Is it because once you run the paint stick through... It doesn't level back out?
My wife and I are in the process of building our own log home. We love the stonecoat countertops. Now I'm thinking my bathroom will have resin counter tops, floor and shower!
Thanks for the reply! I didn't mean the shower floor, I don't know how I could get proper drainage. I will certainly be in touch.
anybody else see the gold man in this @ 15:08 he looks like a musketeer! you painted a masterpiece, then covered it up with a masterpiece 🤣
StoneCoatCountertops that's what my husband and I were thinking but it's still turned out to be a beautiful piece!! love your videos and we will be placing an order with you for sure!
LOL yes I saw it. The man with the hat on!
Jessica kutzke Wow, it's weird you said that because I saw a goateed man in another one of his videos! He must have some super natural things happening through his art! BTW, the gold man has a dog behind him. Pretty cool!
Thanks for doing this videos! I am addicted to watching your work. It is magnificent.....
Wow, very cool.
Great job. Love the colours
Thanks so much! -Nathan
As Mr. Stone Coat refuses to answer any questions, it is best to avoid attempting this.
If you have a question read through the threads. There are plenty of people here who have done this before answering questions for people.
Fantastic !! I LOVE those colors !!
I have never seen such beautiful effects your so kind as to share this with us bless you your amazing x
I love this and your enthusiasm! Makes me believe I can do this! 👍
