Enjoy your stay. Following from Thika 🇰🇪. We have many Kenyan Indian families here. Nairobi city centre is quite safe just that some street kids may want to snatch phones and cameras but that’s rare and only happens in the busiest parts of downtown.
Kenyan local went to college in India..I had the best five years in Bharat ... welcome to Nairobi...vis Kenya is home to Indians ..our countries have a long shared history of trade and friendly interactions.
I been to Kenya last year, if want to have safari experience in Nairobi area under budget one, you can experience at Nairobi National Park, the only national park in the world that located inside the capital city. the only downfall is you cannot see elephant ONLY as this big creature not available at the park mentioned. From my experience, i managed to see big 3 out of 5 which are Lion, Buffalo and Rhino (Black and White) but leopard is very rare to spot depending on your luck. Also, can see other animal like jackal fox, hippo, crocodile, zebra, wildebeest, elland and other types of antelope. Besides that, you can also experience Giraffe Centre which is nearby with the national park and Sheldrick Trust Elephant Orphanage which you can see elephant. Hope this helps.
Thanks for this Nick - it definitely helps! Will strongly consider this.. We did see the park from outside when driving to giraffe centre... it looks impressive!
I watched your channel is in mu traveller (laba hansda you tube channel) description link.Thats why,i First time commented on your vlog, very nice vlog, Love from Odisha
Welcome to Kenya. Some local cuisine points out: If you want it spicy, make sure you ask for it or else, your food will be served without any. Ugali goes well with meat. You can have vegetables alongside it but meat or milk or some form of animal proteins has to be there.
Milk as in cheese? Since we are vegetarian, milk based and plant based proteins are super helpful.. but we didn't see any such accompaniment for Ugali 😔
WOW ! YOU ARE IN NAIROBI . You look wonderful . The streets are always busy and noises . Akuna Matata means there 's nothing to worry . You should see lions 😊😊😊.
Safaris are expensive.. there is something in Kenya called per person sharing..you would rather book a hotel as a couple and get your own transport there then share safari van belonging to the facility
@@TheBackpacksters not far from mara ..maybe 10 minutes to the park gate...budget tented safaris range from ksh 20k for two nights... exclusive of park fee
Go to Masai Mara it’s amazing place and we only dies once life is NOW 😁 , all foreigners pay extra than locals it’s normal in Kenya, good luck Glenn from Sweden 🇸🇪
Masai Mara. Sit back, look at different offers, analyse your options. Also, you can see the same animals in the Mara at many different places in Kenya. Pick the most affordable.
Hii ! I am from odisha, i am following you in many months. Thanks both of you to explore more and more country and city in ENGLISH language. This type of vlogs also this, help me to improve my english knowledge and english power more and more❤❤❤❤❤ Dedicated- mu travelers (lobo bhai)
There are other National parks that I think are cheaper. There is Nairobi National Park which is cheaper than Maasai Mara I think. It's just within the city. No elephants there though
Kaiseeh bhai Kenya is indeed so magical but that place is usually very safe down town is where can be bad and shish is very short I can see you struggle to cover her for how long are you planning to stay in Kenya
@@TheBackpacksters Most foreigners avoid the CBD until they get used to the city. It has a rough reputation but as you saw for yourselves, that reputation is a little exaggerated because you still have your phones 😂 Also, get yourselfves a Safaricom SIM card for at least one of you so you can pay by Mpesa. Will make things so much easier.
Nairobi is actually pretty safe. Ofcourse there's normal petty thieves just like anywhere else. In Africa we say 'every market has its mad man'. Karibu Kenya 🇰🇪
You don't need to be scared when vlogging, just avoid some streets such as River road, Kirinyaga road, other uptown areas are okay, enjoy your stay, good to see foreigners vlogging about our country, just curious to know what you honestly think 😅

My recommendation is try and see if you both can go to Amboseli national park. It’s cheaper than Masai mara and can be done as a single day trip.
That sounds interesting! Will look this up Manav, thanks!
