- Full walkthrough of the PC game "Hitman 3: Contracts" (released in 2004) on the hardest game difficulty (Professional), Mission 7 - Traditions of the Trade. The game was played by me with flawless free flow completion of the missions with "Silent assassin" rating. Stealth gameplay style was used where it was possible. All the scenario scenes and dialogues were included in the video, from the intro of the game till the credits at the end, hence the watchers can understand the storyline of the game. Enjoy watching

I remember my elder brother came running downstairs and said 'come see this!!' and showed me the ghost in the hallway. Hitman games all hold a special place in my memory.
Tbh, the ghost was the only thing I remembered about this mission.

The music kicking in as you calmly leave the scene of the crime was always my favourite part of the
Hitman games. Makes you feel like such a badass. Better yet if you've caused some sort of disruption and everyone is rushing the other way.
At this room was one of the most epic moments I had in gaming. Killed the boss with the silencer and moved away. This mission soundtrack and atmosphere was the best. This game is at another level
One of the best missions in the entire franchise!
15 years of gaming experience and still haven't seen a more balanced, dynamic and atmospheric level design like this one. It is really cosy simply to roam hotel at night while it is raining outside.
Only Hitman 2016 Paris Level is more or less similar.

These old games are the best. They don't hold your hands like the new ones do.
It goes both ways, the old ones were way too obtuse and the first two games really need a good walkthrough to get the best out of. Although instincts in the new game is a bit too far, the highest difficulty makes it as obtuse as this one.
its hard to get into the older titles though, base mechanics were introduced but that's it, they never taught you how a mission goes and what you need/want to do in a mission, which then leads to a mass murder gameplay.
@@TheCapitalWanderer I think they expected us to "test the waters" explore the map and search around and observe guard patrols, keep hitting that restart mission button and figure out a stratagem for the level but yeah... we didn't do that lol.

There's not one mission in the Hitman series that changes its atmosphere like this mission does. It seems like a normal hotel on a rainy night, until you go into the part of the hotel that's closed off...

In Hitman contracts, agent 47's previous missions from Hitman 1 & 2 are replayed in a flashback while he is actually injured in his hideout. Pay attention to the story and stop asking why the missions are so "similar" they are supposed to be, but they have been improved to suit the game.

+Djamel O'Callaghan It's all in his memories. Every mission is dark and has rain, there are also ghosts. Which means Agent 47 is plagued by guilt.

The newer games are supposed to be this grand overarching globe trotting adventure, that's why everything sounds so grand. Older games had a completely different vibe

Entering the hotel ... beautiful ambient music is playing. Amazing!
Soundtrack plus in-game sounds mix perfectly from 11:05 to 11:35 . The elevator section especially enhances the soundtrack.

You can actually bypass it in a hilarious way. Just drop the suitcase while standing near the detector, then walk through the detector, and pick up the suitcase while being on the other side.
MrKosobi I just shoot them with the silent sniper rifle from afar with the door closed of course. 😉 they never knew what hit them and the security guards/police never came out to check.

first and last game when i realy sacred ghost. The reason why i think because you not expect to see something like that in game when everything made to see real. When i saw ghost walking in the hall i realy got scared so i even stop gaming and made a break. First impressions "that can not be. Impossible. This game is not stupid horror." After im calm down and try to see ghost again i didnt make it. And thats makes me feel more scary. Since that time i never come back in this wing. BTW i was 14 years old.

This isn't the PS3 version. It's the HD remastered version.
This is not the PlayStation version
Rockstar makes extremely linear movie type missions, best open world mission/layout design is watch dogs 2 imo

This quest the NPCs speak Hungarian :D I just walk and listen to what people say in the hotel, they speak my language so funny.
The Eidos member is full of Hungarians.
Hotel Galar is actually real termalbath and hotel the Gellert.

Also as I recalled the lady on the balcony could have spotted 47 in the act of taking out the security guard and alerted the police. For some reasons it didn’t happen here. That was a close call nonetheless.
Right in my childhood. Just finished playing blood money again for the first time in years. Downloaded the newer ones and god the atmosphere is so wack lol decided to come watch some contracts my fondest memories of the franchise started here when I was a child lol

I remember you can drop your sniper rifle right on the metal detector before triggering the cutscene, then walk through and pick up your rifle and the detector won't pick it up lol

there is a different version with different graphics and in that version the bomb trips the metal detector - so i had to drop it from the balcony and then pick it up and go on....

I am a member of IMDB who specializes in spotting goofs. The hotel mission is different from the one in a previous game; I would enter a continuity goof, but I think this to be more of a retelling and the entry would probably be invalid.
If you played the game you'd know most missions are 47's memories.
